Flessie Village

Raven, Winter, and I made it to a little village and noticed a woman who was battling a group of trainers alone. She had short white hair with black strands, part of her hair covered her left eye. She wore a jacket with a thick white fur collar, white shorts, black leggings, and shoes. It was her and her Absol against a Totodile, Snivy, Riolu, and Tepig.

"That's my sister...Lilith. We're supposed to be looking out for our parent's Herdier since he is a family Pokemon, but her carelessness caused us to lose him." Raven said.

"Well we can't just let them jump her! Osha! Let's go!" I said and ran ahead.

"Tch...You all are just getting in my way..!" Lilith said.

"You shouldn't have crossed our territory, what's ours is ours here emo lady!" A trainer said.

"Emo..?" Lilith asked and her eye twitched out of annoyance.

"Let's just finish her off! Riolu! Cross Chop!" One of the trainers yelled.

Riolu dashed toward Lilith's Absol and crossed his forearms, preparing to deliver a double chop. Before he was able to execute the attack, he was blown away by Oshawott's Aqua Jet. Riolu cried out as he hit the ground then recovered back on his feet.

Lilith looked at Oshawott surprised then turned her head, noticing me. "Who are you?"

"Atlas, and I'm here to help you get your Herdier back at your brother's request." I said and looked at Lilith.

"Yeah, I figured there was no way we were gonna do this alone, so I asked two strangers for help." Raven said as he walked up and held a pokeball in his hand. "Murkrow! Spread your wings!"

"Don't forget about me and Fenny!" Winter said and Fennekin ran forward.

"More trainers? Ha! We'll take them all down!" One of the other trainers bellowed. "Snivy! Vine Whip the Oshawott!"

"Osha! Razor Shell and deflect!" I commanded.

Snivy cried out and a pair of vines came out from its yellow collar then tried to hit Oshawott, but he used his shell to deflect them. Oshawott dashed forward and dodged Snivy's attacks then slashed at Snivy in rapid succession then sliced upward, sending Snivy flying in the air.

"Murkrow! Air Slash!" Raven bellowed.

Murkrow locked onto Snivy then his wings shined a bright blue. He flapped his wings and fired light blue blades of energy at Sniny, striking Snivy and causing explosions. Snivy cried out and landed on the ground.

"Totodile! Ice Fang the Murkrow!" The other trainer commanded.

"Fenny! Stop Totodile!" Winter commanded.

Fennekin ran over to Totodile then struck it with a Scratch. Totodile slid backwards then looked at Fennekin and fired a Water Gun at her. Oshawott used Aqua Jet to hurry over to Fennekin's aid then took the Water Gun damage for her.

"He didn't even have to command Oshawott to protect Fennekin.." Raven said.

"Everyone get out of my way!" Lilith bellowed and her eyes shined red. "Ruina! Destroy the opponent with Brutal Swing!"

"Lilith wait!" Raven called out.

Absol cried out and her horn glowed pink the she dashed forward.

"Murkrow dodge the attack!" Raven commanded.

"Osha! Grab Fenny and use Aqua Jet to escape the attack!" I commanded.

Murkrow flew high in the air to dodge Absol's attack. Oshawott grabbed Fennekin then used his Aqua Jet to escape the vicinity of Absol's Brutal Swing. Absol bellowed and swung her horn with a merciless intent and struck the opposing Totodile and any other pokemon around it with a powerful hit.

"Lilith! What are you doing?!" Raven yelled at Lilith.

"What do you mean by 'What am I doing'? I'm getting these weaklings out of the way so I can find Herdier!" Lilith yelled.

"You nearly hit Murkrow and our allies!" Raven said.

"You all dodged it, so what's the issue?!" Lilith bellowed.

"Riolu! Use Aura Sphere!" The trainer bellowed.

Riolu let out a cry and formed a ball of blue energy then shot it at Absol. Fennekin noticed and cried out then shot a big ball of fire from her mouth at the Aura Sphere. The two moves collided and caused an explosion.

"This isn't the time to be bickering!" Winter yelled.

[Fennekin learned how to use Ember!]

"What's all this ruckus going on?!" A voice said.

We all looked at the man who stood behind the enemy trainers then our battle came to an immediate pause.

"Master Fornus! We deeply apologize for the inconvenience, but we were stopping these evil doers from entering our sacred village!" One of the trainers said.

"Evil doers?" The man said then looked at us. "I see no evil doers only trainers like you all. You four, I apologize for my students' rudeness. I am Master Fornus, the head of Flessie Village."

Just like that...the hype from the battle died down and the four trainers recalled their pokemon back into their respective pokeball. We recalled our pokemon as well and followed the master inside of the village. He asked us about who we were and why we were here then Raven gave the run down of the situation.

"Ahh, so your Herdier seemed to have run this way? Now that you mention it, I did see a Herdier come down this way...I have him in my dojo. He seemed tired after all that running around. He seemed to be looking for something or someone. It's strange to see a Herdier run off from its trainer. Very strange.." Fornus said as he led us to his dojo.

"What is it that you do in this Dojo?" Winter asked.

"Well I train people of course. I train them by helping a Pokemon learn any move they want from a wide selection of moves, although it is limited. Also... there's a Pokemon that's been trying to find a trainer for a while, but no one wants it...or to put it in more simpler terms...the Pokemon doesn't want any of the trainers." Fornus said.

"What Pokemon is it?" I asked.

"It's...a Victini. It is in a pretty weakened state though..." Fornus said.

"Victini..?" I asked then had a flash back of when Hilbert, Hilda, and I first encountered Victini and saved it from Team Plasma. "Could it be...the same Victini..?"

We reached the Dojo and it was rather large. Fornus let us inside and we looked around the place in awe. There was even a built in battlefield in the dojo. Raven noticed Herdier and hurried over to him then hugged him. Lilith hurried over to him as well.

"A touching reunion." Fornus chuckled.

"Master Fornus. About that Victini." I said.

"Ahh yes...about Victini. I can't seem to find it. It can turn invisible so there's a factor." Fornus said.

I looked around then felt something land on my head. Winter gasped and pointed at my head. I looked up and whatever was on my head turned invisible and flew off. Fornus smiled and crossed his arms then noticed the Pokemon turn visible beside him.

I looked at the Pokemon and my eyes widened. "Victini.."

I pulled out my phone and scanned Victini.

"So what is Victini? I've never seen a Pokemon like that before." Winter said and crossed her arms.

"Victini is one of many Mythical Pokemon. I met Victini back when I was in Unova...at Liberty Garden." I said then noticed Victini's eyes lighten up.

Fornus noticed as well and smiled. "Seems Victini recognizes you as well, Atlas."

"Mythical Pokemon?" Winter asked.

"These are a one of a kind Pokemon essentially. I say essentially because there have been Mythical Pokemon known to having more than one each other even though it is rather rare to see. Aside from that..." I said then looked at Victini sadly. "Victory has been weakened almost like the power from it has been stolen.."

"Stolen? Like how Team Myth tried to steal the energy of that Mythic Magikarp?" Winter asked.

Raven and Lilith looked back at us and Raven frowned.

"You know of Team Myth..?" Raven asked and stood up.

"Y-Yeah? Do you know th-"

"Team Myth...They are the ones controlling the Legendary Pokemon and even finding Mythic Pokemon to capture to either drain their energy or to cause terror across the region. Granted their control on the Legendary Pokemon are rather weak...if they gather enough energy they will have full control over them." Raven said and balled his fist. "They stole my Zorua. He was different from all the other Zorua. He had the ability to-"

"That's too much information. After all they are still strangers." Lilith said. "It's enough that we now know we have a common enemy. Thank you all for finding Herdier, we will take our leave now."

"Before you both leave, Raven. Are you planning on taking on the Gyms of the Region?" I asked.

Raven looked at me and smirked then closed his eyes, placing his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, I am. I'm assuming you are as well, so that makes us Rivals it seems. What about your friend?"

"O-Oh no no! I'm not partaking in Gym Battles or the League! I'm supporting Atlas and I have my own dream!" Winter said with a flustered face.

Raven chuckled and walked off. "Alright. See you both around."

We waved goodbye to Raven and Lilith as they left. I turned my attention back to Victini and looked at them. Victini floated over to me and stared at me.

"I know Team Myth did this to you...and they've probably done it to the other Mythical Pokemon. They drain your energy and leave you to die. I'm glad you're still alive..." I said.

Victini teared up then rushed at me and hugged me. I smiled and pat Victini's head. Winter and Fornus smiled at the scene.

"I know Hilbert nor Hilda couldn't take you, and as much as I wanted to take you...I didn't have any experience with Pokemon outside of what I was given. Now I'm able to take you with me and help save the Region from the hands of Team Myth." I said.

Victini nodded and let go of me then floated next to me.

[Victini's Morale has increased!]

"Well then, I see Victini has chosen its trainer. Although it is weakened...I can see your potential in restoring the Legendary Power back in Victini." Fornus said and nodded. "Feel free to stay in Flessie Village for however long you'd like. We have many trainers that can help you grow your strength and bond here. Feel free to battle until your heart is content."

"Thank you, Master Fornus." I said and bowed.

"Thank you!" Winter smiled and bowed as well.

Fornus nodded then walked off.

"Alright, let's get you three leveled up and take on Surge." I said.

Oshawott and Victini agreed. I felt Petilil's pokeball wiggle a bit in response. Winter and I left the dojo to do more training with the other pokemon trainers.
