Joseph flicked Pikachu's head to make him stop frightening Lance.

"Stop it if you continue I wont give you extra snacks this afternoon snack time." Joseph said like a parent disciplining his child.

"Pikapi." Pikachu said in sad tone then his ears went down.

"You did great earlier." Joseph smiled at the monstrous pokemon and patted Pikachu's head. Pikachu's mood became better again after being praised by his trainer. Joseph actually wanted to call his Pikachu's name but he remembered that the Pikachu's name is Fuckachu he immediately declined that thought.

Joseph is your typical nonsense pokemon namer, when he felt that the name was funny he will name his pokemon with it.

"Kuhum! Joseph won this friendly match!" Professor Oak fake coughed after he recovered from the shock.

"Mr. Johnson your Pikachu is an extremely powerful pokemon." Lorelei said with amazement on her face her Jynx's injuries from the her battle with Machamp was fully healed after using Dream Eater but Jynx got one hit KOed by this adorable electric type pokemon.

"I agree with Lorelei, your Pokemon is really strong." Bruno stepped in and offered a handshake. "It's nice to meet a strong trainer like you Mr. Johnson."

Joseph smiled then he accepted Bruno's handshake. Joseph noticed a lot of callous on his knuckles because of always punching hard objects. "Nice to meet you Mr. Bruno."

The other two members of elite four, Agatha and Lance also greeted Joseph and they asked him if he's a champion before.

"No." Joseph's simple answer made them suspicious about him.

"By the way lad where are you from?" Professor Oak curiously asked.

"I came from Alola region." Joseph smiled at them.

"I see, now I understand why a man as strong as you isn't a champion." Professor Oak nodded while holding his chin, Agatha also did the same after realizing Joseph was telling the truth.

The three younger Elite four was confused and asked the ex-couple.

"I have a cousin staying in Alola region so, I know some matters in that region. The reason Joseph isn't a champion is because there is no League tournament there." Professor Oak turned his head towards Joseph.

"Yes Professor Oak is indeed right but I heard that the Pokemon League will also make a League tournament in our region soon but for now I just want to relax and enjoy my self living in this city with my pokemon before joining the league." Joseph already researched some of the current matters in Alola.

"So there are hidden strong trainers in that region." Lance weirdly glanced at the Pikachu whose staring at him without blinking then the Pikachu gave him a mocking smile, Lance choose to ignore the Pikachu.

"I thought you came here to join this year's league tournament, if that's the case I will train my pokemon hard because of you." Bruno said with disappointment.

"Maybe after I feel bored on managing my small store." Joseph smiled.

"I see." Bruno nodded.

"Lad you showed us your great battling skills and defeated Lorelei, the League would like to invite you to take over this gym and be its gym leader." Agatha said seriously.

"I'm sorry but as I said earlier were here just to relax." Joseph declined, he knows that being a gym leader means countless battles everyday.

"Don't worry about being always challenged by the trainers, we actually saw this coming after Mr. Pokemon told that you just want to lay low from battles." The old woman mysteriously smiled.

"Ma'am please explain." Joseph slightly tilted his head and gave Agatha a questioning look.

"This gym will be the last gym that will be challenged after a trainer gets 7 major gym badges around the Kanto region." Agatha explained.

"I see." Joseph nodded. 'So the thing happened in this Gym is the same situation in Games."

"What do you think? The League will also pay you monthly salary after you took the position." Professor Oak asked.

"Let me think about it in a few days first." Joseph said to the two old people.

"Okay." The old ex-couple nodded.

"Mr. Johnson may I ask if you are an official move tutor?" Lance curiously asked.

"No, but I learned some moves before so can teach some compatible moves to a pokemon." Joseph just slapping some TMs on the pokemon's head to learn some moves inside the game.

"If you guys don't mind, I need to go back to run my shop." Joseph politely asked.

"No worries but you should think about our offer." Professor Oak smiled and the others just stared at Joseph.

"I will." Joseph nodded then he turned his head to Arcanine and Pikachu. "Let's go buddies, Houndoom and Machamp needs to be healed in the Pokemon Center."

Pikachu jumped on Joseph's shoulder and gave Lance a last annoying smug face. Lance just ignored the annoying electric mouse.

Joseph, Pikachu and Arcanine arrived at the nearest Pokemon Center.

This is the first time Joseph will entering this world's pokemon center, unlike the pokemon centers in games this world's pokemon center is 5 times larger with a lot of young trainers waiting for their pokemon to be healed.

Joseph can easily summon a chansey to heal the two pokemon but he was curious on what pokemon center looks like.

The pokemon center have lots of nurses and the head nurse of the center is none other than Nurse Joy.

"Hello, Welcome to Viridian City's Pokemon Center." Said the female nurse on the counter.

"I would like to heal my pokemon." Joseph politely said.

"Please show us your trainer card." The nurse looked at Joseph's face after she stopped from doing some stuffs.

"Okay." Joseph took his trainer ID in his wallet and gave it to the nurse, the nurse wrote something and passed a ticket to Joseph.

"Mr. Joseph Johnson, go to the Room number 26 and give this ticket to the attending nurse and because you are newly registered trainer without any badges and only fought 1 official battle, the pokemon center can only heal 2 pokemons for free and if you want to heal more you need to pay for it." The nurse said then she passed back Joseph's trainer ID.

"Thank you." Joseph nodded and left the counter to find the room 26. "This world is really different from the pokemon world I know."

In the waiting area there are a lot of trainers chatting with each other.

"Hey have you heard the rumour?" A young male trainer said to another one.

"What rumour?" Trainer-2 ate his snack and tilted his head.

"A legendary pokemon spotted in Viridian forest!" Trainer-1 said with lowered voice.

"What?! Really?!" The Trainer-2 exclaimed in shock and all of the waiting Trainers' attention was caught.

"Idiot why did you shout!" Trainer-1 threw an empty poke ball on Trainer-2's head.

Joseph heard their silly conversation and hypothesized that the Entei event is going to happen really soon. Joseph doesn't have any thoughts on that Entei since he also have some of that legendary pokemon on his box.

"I hope Verity and Ash will become travelling companions now." Joseph was walking straight and saw room 26 from a distance and walked towards that room.

All of a sudden a young man bumped into him and the young man falls on his butt.

"Asshole!" The young man shouted.

"Eh?!" Joseph was stunned because the guy was so impolite and acting like a thug. "Kid you are the one who bumped at me and what the hell is wrong with your shitty mouth?"
