Episode 48: Genetic 2

The walk into the creepy, old, abandoned abandoned mansion and find a book titled "Project Mew: Scientific Logs".

Leon: Maybe this is what Mr. Fuji wanted us to find.

The book has almost all of its pages torn out but the first page reads, "January 6th 1994, the beginnings of Project Mew. We found an eyelash that is believed to be from the Pokémon. The gene-splicing experiments will begin as soon as we return from the jungle."

Wart: Looks like we have to find the other pages too.

The group searches through the building and find a couple more pages, most too damaged to read. They finally find another legible page that reads, "September 23rd, 1994, another failure. We keep making Pokémon that only encapsulate Mew's transformation abilities but none of the strength. We've dubbed this new species, Ditto. Giovanni has taken a few of these Dittos with him and even a Pokéman Ditto. It seems like he treats it as his own son even naming it, Silver."

Leon: Do think there's any more pages that aren't impossible to read?

Wart: We'll just have to see.

After more and more illegible pages they find another page that's still intact. "March 17th, 1995, we finally did it. We've created the strongest Pokéman the world has ever seen. I call it, Mewtwo. It even has the ability to switch from a Pokémon and Pokéman form at will. Sad that Blaine isn't here to see this. If only he had believed in the project and stayed with me instead of putting all of his time into his gym. Further testing on Mewtwo will begin soon."

Leon: Mewtwo, this is he book we're looking for. I look like there's just 1 more page to find. Let's go.

By the time they find the final page, the sun is beginning to set. "April 30th, 1995, it's going on a ramage through the mansion. Any scientist that it comes across it's killing without a second thought. I'm currently hiding in the basement from the creature. I called Giovanni to tell him about what's happening and he just told me to make another one that will listen! I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry but I have to leave this all behind. I've created an unstoppable force of death."

Una: So this is why Mr. Fuji left Team Rocket. Another thing Team Rocket has left for us to clean up.

Leon: Champions are supposed to protect their region so we can't let this thing run around doing what ever it wants.
