Episode 34: Bone Keeper

Cubone Boy: Mr. Fuji! You're back!

The Cubone boy from earlier burst through the door, interrupting Mr. Fuji.

Mr. Fuji: Yes, yes, I'm happy to see you too Maro.

Maro: I thought they were trying to bring you back! They told me that they just needed you for something and you'd be brought back safely and then these guys pushed me so I thought they were going to hurt you and-

Mr. Fuji: Calm down, its okay. These kids saved me and that's all that matters.

Maro: Okay, thank you all. By the way, can I have that thing you guys have?

Leon: The Silph Scope? Sure, here.

He tosses him the device and he runs back to the tower but not long after he comes back to drag our heroes and Mr. Fuji to the tower.

Maro: Momma, they brought you back!

Marowak Ghost: Thank...You...So...Much...

Maro: Momma, with this I can see you again!

Marowak Ghost: Maro...I'm...So...Sorry...I...Can't...Stay...Here...

Maro: But I only just got to see you again. Please momma, please don't leave me again.

Marowak Ghost: I...Love...You...So...Much...My...Son...

Maro: Momma don't leave!

He runs over to grab his mother but he simply passes as she ascends to the afterlife.

Marowak Ghost: Goodbye...Maro...

And just as quickly the were united, they were taken away.

Mr. Fuji: Lets go home Maro.

Maro: Okay...

They return back Mr. Fuji's home and Maro goes to his room, still crying as our heroes and Mr. Fuji talk.

Mr. Fuji: As you could see, that was Maro's long gone mother. She died a few years ago due to Team Rocket. It was unfortunately my fault so I took the boy in.

Wart: Why would he be helping Team Rocket then?

Mr. Fuji: He doesn't remember anything from that day except someone took his mother away. I can't bring myself to tell him I'm the reason he doesn't get to see his mom.

Wart: No need to blame yourself, its Team Rockets fault, and now its our job to take down Team Rocket.

Leon: Are you sure about this? You and Rai got your butts kicked by a single one of the leader's Pokemon. Do you really think we can take them down?

Rai: It doesn't matter, we'll get stronger for sure and with all 6 of us, we can definitely get rid of them.

Mr. Fuji: Well then, me and Maro will be rooting for you all. Please, for the sake of not just me, but for this poor boy too, bring down Team Rocket.
