36 Poison Orb

The next Morning Misty called everyone in the lake behind her mansion to witness the evolution of her Pokemons. Misty decided to evolve her Staryu and Marill at the same time.

Misty had already introduced Gyarados to her other pokemon. They were scared at first but then got used to him after one day.

Misty had talked to his sister regarding Goldeen and they had no problem taking care of Goldeen.

They generally used Seel, Staryu, Starmie, and Tentacool for the gym battles, and adding Goldeen wouldn't hurt.

Both of Misty's Pokemons stood in front of her while she kept four water stones around them. Although one is enough, she decided to copy Aoki's style of evolution by using multiple stones.

Hearing this both Pokemon got enveloped in white light, the stones got absorbed into the light turning it blue.

As the light faded evolved Starmie and Azumarill came into view.

Starmie was purple in color with 10 stars and a red gem at his center with a golden border.

After evolution, he gained Psychic-type.

The Azumarill was taller than Marill, her ears and tail had become longer along with the formation of white shades on his body.

Azumarill had the second type of fairy that only Aoki knew about but didn't mention yet.

Aoki looked at the evolved Pokemon, they were not so different from the regular Starmie and Azumarill in terms of size but only had deep color than usual.

Although gave every Pokemon has different food based on their taste and requirements but it depends on the trainer and Pokemon to utilize the energy properly.

Unlike Aoki, Misty's Pokemon could not utilize the energy properly so they didn't grow in size as much as his Pokemon did.

Misty began focusing on her newly evolved Pokemon so Aoki separated from her and entered the forest around Cerulean City to train.

Aoki had forgotten to check the details of Charmeleon so he checked it now.

Aoki released all his Pokemons and started their training.

First was Clefairy who had to increase her mastery over the calm mind, light screen, and confusion that she learned from Staryu while maintaining gravity on herself and everyone.

This will force her to use more mental power which will increase her proficiency in psychic energy.

This will continue till the afternoon, next would be training for thunderbolt that she learned with copycat from Staryu, disarming voice minimize.

Copycat enabled to use one of the opponent's moves but Aoki made Clefairy memorize the feeling of using a thunderbolt to learn it herself.

For Charmaleon, he started training him in Fireblast and Blitz.

Now for Weepinbell, Aoki had started training him in seed bombs which worked similarly to bullet seeds with added explosive power. The next was unlocking leech seed which combined bullet seed and Giga drain.

For Pidgeotto, it was air cutter and uproar. And lastly, Nidoran was made to practice water pulse, rock tomb, poison tail, and poison jab.

He made Nidoran work the hardest as he wanted to evolve in the next few days. His speed of mastery of Poison-type energy was many times faster than Weepinbell. The only thing that was hindering him from using strong moves was his size.

Evolution would solve that problem.

Aoki didn't forget to check on the egg every day. The egg had grown almost twice the size when he brought it. It had started acquiring blue patches on it and would most probably hatch in 15 days.

Aoki trained his Pokemon hard along with mock battles for the next few days until David gave him the items he promised. Those were a Poison orb made from the corpse of a master-level Vileploom, T. M for Psychic, ice beam, and grass knot.

He taught Psychic to Clefairy, Grass Knot to Weepinbell, and kept ice beam for Nidoran after he evolve.

Aoki clapped his hands and gathered everyone's attention as he was going to ask Nidoran to evolve now.

Aoki placed a container in which Weepinbell put his most potent poison. Aoki fed Nidoran some energy poke blocks and drink the poison.

Any normal Nidoran would immediately die after drinking the poison but Aoki's Nidoran has a poison core to counter the poison with his own poison.

Aoki made him drink the poison to increase the poison-type energy in his body before evolution. Finally, he placed the poison orb in front of him and asked him to evolve.

The cost of an orb started from 100k poke dollars, David had a lot of money from the funds the league provided for the gym so he was able to buy that easily.

Nidoran was enveloped in a golden light but as the poison orb got absorbed into the light, it turned purple.

Same as the last two evolutions, Aoki felt tired when his pokemon started evolving.

The light faded and a 1.5 m tall large Nidorino came into Aoki's vision. The size of Nidorino was almost thrice of Nidoran. His body was dark purple with a horn on his head, large ears, and spikes running through his back. The claws on his legs had become larger too.

Nidorino released a cry after evolution.

Aoki and the others congratulated him for his evolution.

But instead of celebrating his evolution, Nidorino challenged Charmander and Clefariy to increase his ranking within the squad. Aoki didn't stop them and let them fight.

Nidorino won against Clefairy as she had not mastered confusion or Psychic or else it would be the opposite.

But he lost to Charmaelon even after evolution. Aoki noticed that the poison of Nidorino was now equally lethal to Weepinbell.

Aoki gave Nidorino the T.M for Ice beam and staring his training to get used to his new body.

Weepinbell and Pidgeotto realized that if they don't work harder their position as the strongest would be taken away by the new members.

They were the first ones to join Aoki and had pride in being his first Pokemon so they didn't want Aoki to stop using them because they were weaker than the new team members.

Although Aoki never did partiality in loving his Pokemon, every one of his Pokemon wanted Aoki to pay them more attention.
