205 CH74 (204), Getting Handsy

The second week went like the first with everyone complaining about the workload and me (internally) laughing at their predicament while cruising through the lessons.

Most classes were generally the same as last week since there was only so much progress one can make in a single week. "Internal Aura Manipulation", and "Combat Preparation" were the interesting ones.

In "Internal Aura Manipulation" I went from enhancing my sense of touch of my hand to muting it. The idea of muting a sense could naturally be applied to the other senses as well, and I decided to learn to do it with all of them since I could see many situations where a muted sense would be useful.

Not having to sense a bad smell or a Muk was useful, as was not having to taste bad-tasting food. Being able to not hear someone talking your ear off or not having to see the face of someone sound useful as well. Well, the first was more so than the second, since I could not think of many situations where not seeing the face of someone was useful.

Still, it was interesting and I liked experimenting with enhancing or muting my senses. At least as much as I could currently do either. Ms. Yu was happy with my enthusiasm and made sure she checked up on me occasionally to make sure I did not damage my senses during my testing.

As for my "Combat Preparation", which seemingly had turned into an actual combat class, it was still great. I fought against a Hitmonchan during our first lesson this week, and it was interesting to fight against someone who was practically the definition of a super-boxer.

I had to admit that even if moves were forbidden Hitmonchan still packed a punch. Heh, get it. I, at first, tried using only boxing as well, but it quickly became apparent that I was going to lose that way, so after keeping it up for 15 minutes to just train my boxing for a while, I switched to everything goes.

Still, I was sure that fighting against a Hitmonchan using boxing would improve my own boxing quite a bit, so I was planning to do so from time to time. I was sure I could find a willing Hitmonchan from somewhere.

In the second lesson Mr. Koetsuji brought along some Hitmonlee instead, and I have to say that sparring against Hitmonlee was quite the kick. Heh, I was on a roll.

Unlike against Hitmonchan, I did not even try to go kicks against kicks with Hitmonlee, which in itself showed that I had to work on that aspect. Anyway, the academic week was over and the weekend had arrived. I decided that it was time for Kun/Remoraid to evolve since he had completed his resistance training yesterday.

To that end, I was going to process the Azuraid carcass today, and use it along with other materials I had procured for this occasion to create supplements that should help Kun evolve into an Azuraid.

So, after leaving Horus/Xatu, Mothra/Butterfree, Mars/Ursaring, Osiris/Marowak, and Nyx/Umbreon to look after the house I enter Utopia, more specifically my workshop.

Once there, I took out the perfectly preserved Azuraid from the storage and place it on the processing table. The first thing I do is angle its head below a container to catch its blood, before taking a sharp knife to cut through its throat.

I allow it to bleed dry for about 5 minutes before moving the container full of blood to the storage. Then I replaced my knife with a cleaver to separate the two large wings on its back close to its gills, and the two smaller wings on its belly close to its rear end, as well as its two fins at the end of its body.

After putting those wings and fins on a tray, I removed the horn on its forehead and put it beside the wings. I then moved the tray to the storage as well, before setting the cleaver aside for my extremely sharp long knife. I used said knife to make an incision along the Azuraid's belly.

After the cut was made, I opened the belly and place a water hose at the opening to wash out any blood and grime. Then I carefully removed its stomach and intestine to avoid making a mess, before repeating the process with its testicle, ureter, efferent duct, and urinary bladder.

I threw all of them into the incinerator since I had no use for them. Afterward, I carefully and thoroughly washed the inside of the belly, before meticulously removing the liver, heart, swim bladder, kidney, and lungs.

Yes, despite being a fish-like Pokemon, Azuraid had lungs. The reason for that was most likely its flying type. Honestly, it made sense for it to have lungs, since it wouldn't be able to fly around otherwise, due to needing to return to the water every minute or so.

Anyhow, after carefully setting aside the inner organs, I replaced my long knife with a shorter one that was just as sharp to remove the gills as well, before leaving them besides the other organs.

I took up my cleaver once more to separate the head from the body, before carefully cleaving open the skull to remove the brain, which I placed with the other organs.

Then I took my short knife and meticulously removed the eyes before putting them beside the other organs as well. I then placed all of them inside the storage as well, before thoroughly washing the body.

After the body was clean I took my short knife before making an incision along its whole back. Following that, I changed my short knife with my long knife to precisely skin the carcass. Once the whole skin was removed, I place it in the storage, before I began separating the flesh from the bones.

I placed everything except for the skeleton into the storage which concluded my butchering job. Afterward, I cleaned up the working station, before taking out the backbone/spine of a Mantine, and the spine of a Pelipper.

I ground all the bones to powder before mixing them together resulting in a bone powder pile made up of the bones of three water/flying types. Next up, I took out the meat of Azuraid as well as some Mantine meat and boiled it all until it turned to mush.

Then I condensed the mush to squeeze out any water before drying out the condensed meat clump. Thanks to the equipment I had available it took less than 10 minutes, but I could have done it using Heat Wave as well. Obviously, there were other ways to dry the meat as well.

Afterward, I ground the meat as well before putting aside the resulting meat "powder". Then I took out multiple berries, vegetables, and fruits, like Flying Mushrooms, and Passho Berries that contained either water, flying/air, or both energies.

Once I had mashed, cut, or squeezed all the items accordingly I took out some Mystic Water and some Azuraid blood I place into the storage. I took half of the bone powder and all of the meat powder and mixed them with some Mystic water and blood.

Then I began cooking the mixture while occasionally adding the processed greenery into the pot while adding more Mystic Water and Azuraid blood whenever necessary.

It took nearly two hours but in the end, I ended up with a small pile of really nutritious Pokefood rich in water and flying-type energy, especially effective for the Remoraid-line and slightly less so for the Mantine and Pelipper lines.

I placed the Pokefood into the storage before taking out the Azuraid skin I placed there. Then I also took out Pelipper, Swanna, and Cramorant feathers along with the crest of a Gyarados. I had to add that it was not easy to get useful Swanna and Cramorant feathers in Kanto.

I could copy the D-class ones, but the few C-class ones I needed were not easy to gather. Still, I got them all a few months ago. Anyway, I also took out some water or flying-type minerals, before grinding down everything.

Once everything was ground to powder, I mixed it together with the leftover half of the bone powder before adding in half of the leftover blood. I had to add some Mystic Water in as well while mixing everything thoroughly. The resulting paste was then stored inside the storage as well.

The paste was going to be applied on the skin of Kun before the evolution, while the food was going to be eaten beforehand as well. I also had all the Mystic Water, Water Gems, Float Stones, and Flying Gems that I was going to place around Kun to provide extra water and flying energy during the evolution.

So, everything for the evolution was prepared. The next step was to craft a new Pokeball for Kun. His current one was a Waterball, but after his evolution, he would need a water/flying dual ball.

I was going to need White and Blue Apricorns for the shell. The rest of the Azuraid blood, along with some Mantine blood, and Passho as well as Coba Berry Juice were going to be used to produce the ink. The berry pulp together with Mystic Water, and some ground flying as well as water-type minerals would be used to create the glaze.

I immediately begin with the creation of each component, and by the time I have the glaze, ink, and shells ready it is already 6 p.m. Seeing as I had spent more than 8 hours inside Utopia preparing for Kun's evolution, I decided to stop here and finish the Pokeball tomorrow.

So, I store all the components inside the storage and leave Utopia. As soon as I arrive outside I get crowded by Mothra, Mars, Osiris, and Nyx who all want to know what I did for such a long time inside Utopia. I saw Horus paying attention as well from his chilling spot, that little tsundere.

I tell them that I was preparing everything for Kun's evolution on Grouday, aka tomorrow, before asking them what they had been up to while I was busy inside Utopia.

They enthusiastically told me that they watched some TV before getting bored shortly before lunch, so after eating the food I left for them inside the fridge, they went to the terrace and played green light, red light as well as tag for a few hours.

Then a bit more than an hour ago they came back inside and watched the news for a bit before switching to a cartoon. I closely listened to them and showed them that I cared about what they had been doing.

That was why I knew that Horus had the best performance at tag while surprisingly Mothra had the best performance at green light, red light. Honestly, I would have thought Horus would have the best performance at green light, red light, and Mothra would have the best one in tag since I knew that teleportation was banned.

Still, I praised them and everyone else as well for keeping an eye on the house and not demolishing it while I was away. They mock protested when I said that part in jest.

Anyway, after that, I began cooking dinner for them and myself. Once we were done eating I began grooming and massaging all of them. They enjoyed the treatment and most began dozing off. I left them to it and entered Utopia to do the same to the others as well.

Well, I did so for the land-bound ones. Due to it being too late by the time I was done with them I decided to groom and massage the water types tomorrow.

I left Utopia pretty spent and went straight to bed. The next day after breakfast I spent three hours grooming and massaging all water types as promised before moving to my workshop to finish Kun's new Pokeball.

The process was mostly the same, except for the fusion of the two apricorn shells and the extra runes as well as symbols inscribed with ink. The legendaries inscribed into the shell were Kyogre for the water type and Lugia for the flying type.

The reason I chose Kyogre for water should be obvious, but the reason I used Lugia for the flying type instead of one of the many other flying-type legendaries was that Lugia was associated with the sea.

The rune words for water and air were inscribed inside as well, along with some symbols and runes representing harmony. All in all, I managed to successfully complete a total of 3 Dualballs, and with the completion of the Pokeballs, I was ready for Kun's evolution to Azuraid.

I started a patre'on exclusive Legendary Lore Series with stuff on Legendaries. I will occasionally take parts from the series for the story when necessary, but the majority will be found there.

Help me stay motivated.
