242 CH11 (241), I Love It When A Plan Works
I made the decision to spend this vacation just relaxing. No work, no training, just me, my Pokemon, my parents, and the occasional meet-up with my friends, so that's what I did. I spent the whole vacation with my parents or doing grooming sessions with my Pokmon, while intermittently meeting with my friends.
Both Misty and Aaron had returned from their trips, so we agreed to meet up. They told me some of the things they did abroad while asking more about the things I had been up to. They had heard about my publication and congratulated me.
I also met up with Kinji, Jessica, Weiss, Ace, Rose, and Erza. I asked Kinji about my idea of creating a list as I did for Mt.Moon for the Viridian Forest with his help. He along with Uncle Raichu were going to be my main helpers in creating the lists.
He seemed interested in the idea and I told him that I was going to name him the co-author of the new project since we were going to rely on his experience and connections within the Viridian Forest.
However, I was not planning to start on that project until the fifth or sixth term, so there was still time. Kinji was still preoccupied with his training and only took a day off to meet up with me, so starting at a later date suited him better as well.
A funny thing was that despite the "free" month, Moka/Crobat's Strength rose to C, which was her second one. The pre-vacation efforts still showed their effect while she was relaxing. Not only that but Kun/Azuraid managed to raise all his parameters to D, which meant he qualified for the priority list.
As far as the third term was concerned I decided to mainly focus on Thor/Pikachu, Luna/Clefairy, and Enji/Growlithe, while also doing the pressure training with the others on the list.
I was pretty sure that Mothra/Butterfree's training was still going to take some time, so I wanted to focus on them before turning the main focus to her.
By the end of the first month, there were no changes on the Pokemon front. Actually, that was not true, Luna's Energy Capacity rose to C, leaving only one more parameter until she could reach the (high) silver stage. Moreover, Tatsumaki/Kadabra's Energy Density improved to C, leaving only one more to the (high) silver stage.
Besides that, I was happy to note that I was taking fewer hits during my weekly weapon handling sessions. Really, if not for the fact that I could see and feel that I was making progress in my weapon training, I would have probably slowed down or paused my sessions with Mr. Burns, due to being beaten green, blue, and purple during each session.
However, feeling the difference I persisted and Mr. Burns praised my dedication and decided to reward it by becoming a bit more serious, which made me scream out "yamete kudasai!"
Jokes aside, he praised me for my persistence and added that if I kept up my current progress speed I should be ready for my spars and lessons with the Knight Academy students by the start or middle of the fourth term.
On Kyoday of the third week of the second month, Thor's Energy Density rose to C, which meant that he finally reached the (high) silver stage. Excitement was in the air as soon as that happened. Everyone knew that this meant that Thor could now evolve, hence their excitement.
I waited until it was time to sleep before I entered Utopia for the evolution. Everyone gathered at Thor's habitat and watched as I set up the pentagram, just kidding, it was just a circle set up using D-Class Thunder Stones and Magnets.
After the circle was complete I had Thor stand in the middle while applying the paste I prepared for him. After I had covered his whole body I pulled out the C-class Thunder Crystal, which was something like a better version of a Thunder Stone.
Then I handed the crystal to Thor and joined everyone in watching the light show. Once the light settled a Raichu stood within the circle. The average length of a Raichu was around 100 cm, meanwhile, Thor looked to be about 120 cm in height, well as long as he was on his hind paws.
That was without counting the tail, which was actually longer than his body. I went up to him and stroked his head while congratulating him. He just laughed and climbed on top of my head. At least, he tried to do that, but he was now too large for his old chilling spot.
He had to stand to fit which wasn't a relaxing position. I chuckled a bit at his predicament, but he decided to use a UNO reverse card on me and just lay belly first on my head with his hind paws on my left shoulder and his head on my right shoulder.
When I threw him a perplexed looked he began laughing and the other saw that as the signal to storm us. It devolved into a hug pile and even the Gyarados, as well as Milotic, participated by encircling the pile. While everyone was congratulating Thor, I checked his status screen.

The first thing I noticed besides his new species was the increase in potential, and seeing an increase of nearly 20 percent with light purple potential told me that my hard work in preparation for the evolution had been worth it.
Then I noticed that he actually unlocked a (new) talent called Current Rider. Honestly, the name made me remember two things. The first was an old show called Kamen Rider, no idea why, and the second was Surge Surfer, the ability of the psychic Raichu variant, also known as Alolan Raichu.
A quick check confirmed that they had the same effect. Current Rider doubled Thor's speed under Electric Terrain or other such current/electricity charged environments. Surge Surfer did the same.
Moreover, it looked like he also developed/unlocked a budding psychic affinity, which probably had to do with his talent and the fact that both were kind of hinting at a link to an Alolan Raichu. It was probably due to a close family link with one or more of those.
Other than that nothing had changed. He was still learning Surf and he was still trying to neutralize his weakness toward the ground type. After everyone calmed down we took our traditional photos before throwing a short party since it was already late.
I showed my parents Thor's new form on Arcday after returning from Mt.Moon since they would have otherwise asked how they had not noticed his evolution if it happened at home.
The next two weeks after that went by calmly until Enji's Agility improved to C, leaving only one missing C-parameter for his elevation to the (high) silver stage. Two days after that Gastly's Energy Density improved to C, leaving him with only one C-value until the (high) bronze stage.
Close to another two weeks later, toward the end of the third month, Luna's Endurance improved to C, officially elevating her to the (high) silver stage. I waited for the academy to let out before I made my way to Mt.Moon to not break my habit.
Once I arrived at Mt.Moon I found myself a secure corner and entered Utopia. I alerted everyone and we moved toward Luna's habitat for the big event.
I began setting up the circle using only D-Class Moon Stones I had bought and found or exchanged on Mt.Moon. They were the most optimal materials for the circle so I didn't use anything else.
I then motioned for Luna to enter the circle before smearing the paste I had prepared all over her. She twitched a bit due to being smudged by something mud-like, but she let me finish my work.
Once I was done I pulled out the C-Class Moon Crystal I had acquired just for this occasion. I had to go through a lot of work to get this piece of crystal, unlike the last Moon Crytal I had managed to just stumble upon.
Still, I was doing it for my beloved Pokemon, so the hard work was worth it. I handed Luna the crystal and the light show went off. After the light settled a Clefable stood inside the circle. She looked to be about double the size she had previously been.
I would place her at around 160 cm, which was 10 to 20 cm above the average as far as I knew. Other than being slightly larger she did not look any different from a regular Clefable.
I went up to her and hugged her while congratulating her. She hugged me back and after separating, she asked me to let her take a look at herself. I had Manami create an ice wall which Luna used to see her mirror image. While she was appreciating her new looks the others began crowding us to congratulate her as well.
We took our traditional photo and began to celebrate her evolution with a party. While the party was going on I checked her new status to see if anything had changed that I had not seen visually.

Well, the look through the screen showed that besides her new species and increased percentage potential-wise, the rest had remained the same.
At least her potential had increased by nearly 30 percent, showing that my efforts had been rewarded. Luna was missing a 2 percent before her potential turned light purple.
We did not get any training done that day, and I went back home for dinner, where I told my parents about Luna's evolution. Two days after Luna's evolution Moka's Vitality turned to C, which left her with only one more until she reached the (high) silver stage.
It took more than a month until the last of the trio did his last step. Enji's Vitality finally reached C at the end of the first week of the fifth, and last month, of the third term. Man, what a tongue-twister. With this Enji reached the (high) silver stage as well, which meant that it was time for him to turn into the legend, the myth, the one and not so only, Arcanine.
So, it was full of excitement that I took off toward Mt.Moon after the lessons were over. I immediately entered Utopia as soon as I entered my little secret cave not too far from our teleportation point.
I called out to everyone telling them the news before hurrying to Enji's habitat. I began arranging the circle using D-Class Fire Stones as well as Fire Gems, and by the time everyone had arrived I was done with the setup.
I asked Enji to enter the circle but not before cautioning him to be careful and avoid touching the Fire Stones in the circle. He was more playful than the others so I felt the need to do that, even if it seemed a bit overboard.
Once he went inside I began applying the paste I had prepared for him. I really went all out for this paste since Growlithe's potential was already deep purple. Anything less and the paste would not have helped improve his potential.
After I was done with the paste I pulled out the C-Class Fire Crystal I acquired just for Enji. I had to pay a lot and I mean a lot of money for the crystal and I had to ask Kinji for help, using him as the middleman to go through with the transaction, but it was sure that it was worth it.
At least I hope it would be worth it since I invested a lot into the crystal and the materials needed for the paste. Anyway, I placed the Fire Crystal in front of Enji, and after I left the circle Enji placed his right paw on top of it.
