Chapter 27 - Aura King?

Lucario! [Who are you? Are you also an Aura guardian?]

"No, I am not. I came hoping to find something that which allows me to master Aura."

[I have lived almost for hundreds of years and this is the first time, I am seeing a human with so much Aura inside. Listen boy, you are born with very large Aura reserve, that's why you have more stamina than other people.]

Hearing the old Lucario's words, Itsuki was really shocked. He didn't think that his stamina would have something to do with Aura. Then again everything in this world has to be bound by laws and by this world's principals. So Itsuki having such big stamina will also have some reason behind it.[With this much Aura inside you and little training, you will easily able to become the next Aura king.]

This time Itsuki wasn't able to prevent himself from showing shocked expression.

[You will be the first human to become Aura king. Normally this title is given to our race. In this past there were few Aura kings from Lucario race. I can proudly say that my great grandfather was one of them.]

[Let me clarify everything for you. There are different ranks in Aura according to the Aura reserve present in one's body.

1. Aura Discipline

2. Aura Guardian

3. Aura Commander

4. Aura Prince

5. Aura Monarch

6. Aura King.]

[Based on the amount of Aura reserve you have in your body even without training is on Peak of Aura Commander. I am 100 percent confident if you train for few years, then you will become the first human to become an Aura king. Now everything depends on your choice. If you want I can teach you about Aura or you can just go back and be a normal human for the rest of your life.]

Zeraora and the little Riolu looked at Itsuki. Zera respected Itsuki wishes, she would follow Itsuki anywhere.

[One more thing, I can sense that your partner is very compatible with Aura and her Aura reserve is already in Aura Guardian level and she also has the potential to reach Aura Monarch rank.]

Itsuki and Zera looked at each other and nodded. Itsuki's main reason for coming here was to get stronger. Itsuki want to learn Aura to make his Pokémon, especially Zera even stronger. Itsuki knows that in the later part of the series, Ash-Pikachu becomes very powerful, so powerful that Pikachu was able to defeat a legendary Pokémon. Then there is the big boss, Tobias. Tobias had two legendary Pokémons.

Pikachu has lots of potential and will continue to grow even stronger with Ash as time goes on. Meanwhile Zera cannot evolve to increase her power and potential so by teaching her Aura is the quickest way to get her stronger. No matter how hard Zera trains, after some point it gets lot harder to raise her level. Itsuki knows that Zera won't able to reach level 40 or above before the indigo league not without mastering Aura.

"I accept." Itsuki looked excited to learn something completely new.

[Good. I will teach you about the basics, like how to feel Aura, how to control Aura in your body, ways to use Aura. The whole training might take few days. Your training starts from tomorrow morning.] Itsuki and Zera nodded.

"Thank you." Itsuki was grateful. Itsuki knew that learning Aura on your own is will be very hard but if someone guides them, then the process will be easier and quicker.

[I am not doing this for free. I have a small request which I will let you know later.] Itsuki was curious about what this old Lucario was going to request.

Itsuki and Zera went back and spent the night sleeping.

Next day,

Itsuki and Zera woke up very early in the morning. Itsuki made breakfast for everyone including the old Lucario and Riolu.

"Cynthia, from today onwards I am going to train." Cynthia stopped eating and looked at Itsuki in confusion.

Itsuki told Cynthia about Learning Aura from an old Lucario. Hearing Itsuki's words, Cynthia became excited and she couldn't help but ask.

"Itsuki, can I also learn with you?" After knowing about Aura, Cynthia also wanted to learn and train it Itsuki.

Itsuki smiled and nodded. "Come with me. But before that let me tell you, not every human can learn Aura."

Itsuki told this part from the anime. In the anime, even side characters weren't able to use Aura. Only Ash was able to use Aura mainly because of the plot armor.

After having breakfast, Itsuki packed breakfast for Riolu and Lucario. After washing up, Itsuki, Cynthia and the whole gang went to meet Lucario and old Riolu.

"Did you come here before?" Cynthia asked because she saw that Itsuki was familiar with the path.

"Yes, last night." Itsuki put Articuno and Magikarp in the Pokémon. Articuno was not interested and she wanted to stay in the Pokémon while Magikarp had to be carried so both Pokémons was put in the Pokeball.

After walking for 5 minutes, Cynthia saw an old Lucario and little Riolu standing in front of the old and broken palace.

"Itsuki, is this the Lucario you talked about?" Itsuki nodded.

[I see you have bought you Pokémons as well as your traveling companion.] The old Lucario looked at Cynthia.

"Itsuki, can you understand his words?" Cynthia couldn't understand Pokémon language.

"Yes, I can. If you want I can translate what he is saying."

"Hello, my name is Cynthia from Sinnoh region. I am currently traveling with Itsuki."

[Hello I am Lucario and this is my grandson Riolu]

He said, "Hello I am Lucario and this is my grandson Riolu." Itsuki translated for Cynthia.

"I have a request. This might sound little rude, but you can please teach me with Itsuki. I also want to become an Aura Guardian."

[Girl your talent is slightly better than average human. At most you can reach Aura Commander or with enough luck Aura Princess.] Itsuki translated to Cynthia.

"Is there any rank after Aura princess?" Cynthia asked. The old Lucario looked at Itsuki and wanted him to answer it.

"There is also Aura Monarch and Aura king rank after Aura prince or princess." Cynthia felt little disappointed but quickly cheered up thinking that she could reach Aura princess realm.

[Girl you do not be disappointed. Only few human in history has able to reach Aura princess rank.]

Cynthia was not that happy because she wanted to know how much potential Itsuki had.

"What about Itsuki?"

[Itsuki is special. He is the only human in this world who has the potential to reach Aura king. Itsuki would become the first Aura king in human race.]

Cynthia looked at Itsuki in shock. Eevee, Dragonair also looked at Itsuki in shock.

"Lucario, what is your current rank?" Itsuki asked because he was curious.

[I am Aura Guardian rank. And this Riolu just recently has started his training so he is still in Aura discipline rank.]

[Enough talking. Come with me, we will start your training.] Itsuki, Cynthia and Zera followed the Lucario. Itsuki put Eevee and Dragonair in their Pokeball.

Lucario bought the whole team to the open field located behind the palace. From looks of it, this place used to be a garden. There are many barriers on the trees, and some wild flying Pokémons is happily staying with Lucario and Riolu.

[This is our home.] Itsuki noticed a sad look on the old Lucario's face. Itsuki felt his sadness must have something to do with Riolu's parents.
