"Welcome to Pallet Town! Kanto's most peaceful and most powerful town. Also, welcome to Oak Corall! The world's finest research laboratory and Pokemon ranch!" said Alex, to the 8 girls who looked 12 to 14 years old. They all had pink hair with identical hairstyles, dressed in the same clothes, and stood with the same posture. If it weren't for some small differences he could don't in their facial features he would have thought they were all identical.
"The adults seem to have some business to take care of with Professor Oak, so I will take you around the lab and the ranch in his stead. My name is Alex Burns, I live in Pallet Town, and am kind of like the assistant to Professor Oak" said Alex
One of the girls stepped forward and said, "Hello and thank you. My name is Amelie. This is Nancy, Gwen, Stacy, Tina, Tara, Cassie, and Lorelei. Pleased to meet you. We will be in your care" said one of the girls.
"Come with me. The Oak Corall consists of the laboratories which you can see in front of you, and the ranch behind it. This laboratory is one of the most advanced research laboratories when it comes to Pokemon research. It employee 60 of the most brilliant minds as researchers, and over 400 others, most of whom have a residence in Pallet Town. Behind it is the ranch. The ranch is extensive and covers more land than the entire Viridian City. It houses Pokemon belonging to the Oak Corall and its employees, along with the Pokemon of trainers who have exceeded their carry limit. You can find thousands of Pokemon, of nearly every kind and type scattered across the different artificial environments created for their comfort" said Alex. He then asked, "Would you like me to take you on a tour of the laboratory, or would you prefer to go directly to the ranch instead?" asked Alex.
"The ranch, please. I want to see Sylveon" said a girl, whom Alex remembered as Cassie.
"Of course. All the evolutions of Eevee that were discovered recently are gathered together near the entrance of the ranch. I will take you to see them. Come this way" said Alex.
He then led them on a walk for 10 minutes, till he reached a grove.
"Eevee, Syleveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, all of you come out" yelled Alex.
Some rustling sounds could be heard in the grove, and a few Pokemon, with a Slyveon in the lead came out.
"Syleveon" cried the leading Pokemon as it jumped into his arms.
"Hello Syleveon" said Alex. He then turned to all the other Pokemon and said, "These young ladies here are all Miss Joy. Why don't you all greet them?"
The Pokemon all gave out cries as they approached the young girls.
Any member of the Joy clan, before graduating from the academy or obtaining approval from certified members were all collectively referred to as Miss Joy. After that, they were of course allowed to be called Nurse Joy.
"All these Eevee and their evolutions were born in New Bark Town, and were under the care of Professor Elm, the expert in Pokemon breeding. When Oak Corall was researching Eevee, Professor Elm was kind enough to transfer them here. As you know, after an Eevee evolves, while they can stay in the natural environment of their new element, they don't particularly mind neutral environments either. As these Eevee and their evolutions grew up together and are accustomed to each other's company, they all stay together in this grove" said Alex.
He then turned to the Sylveon in his arms and continued, "While no one knew how to evolve an Eevee onto a Glaceon, Leafeon, Umbreon, and Espeon, they certainly existed. Alex certainly wanted all these young girls to buy his book and spread it across to the other students of the Nurse Joy Academy, and subsequently the working Nurse Joy. Nurse Joy enjoyed huge popularity in every town and city and their every action would be overinterpreted, especially among civilian trainers. And if any person saw a Nurse Joy reading a particular book, it was almost a fad to imitate her and read the same book.
Alex waited for all the girls to pet and stroke every Eeveelution, and answered the questions they had.
Afterwards, he said goodbyes to all the Eevee and their evolutions and waited for the Miss Joys to do the same.
He then led them to continue the tour of the ranch, this time thankfully on a few Tauros that the Professor had assigned to cover ground without tiring the Miss Joys out.
