Tauros Training

Psychic powers are the most versatile powers to ever exist. Teleportation, telekinesis, confusion, elemental manipulation, and dimension control, there were a lot of them. So, what should Axel focus on for Alakazam?

To reach the elemental rank, Axel had made its focus on 'Psycho shift' and 'Synchronize'. 'Psycho shift' was a move that could transfer any status condition to the enemy. It basically transferred any pain that the user is experiencing.

'Synchronize' was an ability that would synchronize the pain of the user with the enemy. Both of them basically did the same thing. But combining both of them made Alakazam able to use it as a passive ability.

Alakazam always felt pain because it was a shadow Pokemon. After years of practice and training, it was able to withstand the pain. But the opponent would not be able to do it. So, whenever Alakazam would enter the battle, it would use the combo, making the opponent feel severe pain throughout the battle.

Using other psychic moves like 'Confusion' and 'Psychic', it would basically win the battle every time. But now, Axel thought that such a strategy would not work. First of all, Axel was going to find the solution to his shadow problems. It was not a question of 'if' but 'when'.

After Axel finds the solution, it would never feel the constant pain. So, the existing strategy would cease to exist.

Secondly, psychic powers have a lot of versatility. It wanted to use it for a good purpose.

After thinking a lot, Axel came to conclusion. Telekinesis and domain control. Telekinesis is a move that could move objects at a distance by mental power. It might be a simple ability to have, but it could be very destructive if used on a large scale. Domains are just artificial places where the user's ability was boosted.

Axel didn't know if Alakazam could master both of these. But he thought to give it a try. He would talk about it to Alakazam.

However, first, he wanted to know the 'Hidden power' typing of Alakazam, and what he found was amazing.

For Ivysaur and Charizard, Axel just wanted them to improve their move mastery. He thought to add a couple of new moves to make them versatile. He thought to think of a new move for Charizard, but first, he wanted it to be comfortable in its new form.

Tauros is one of the most powerful Pokemon in normal type category. It had fast speed, good offense, and defense and it had only 1 weakness and that was fighting type.

It had a violent and rowdy personality. It was a battle-driven Pokemon that loved to show its powers. Since it was just going to start its training, Axel didn't want it to learn new moves like 'Shadow jump' or 'Resolve'.

Before deciding the type of moves that it should learn, Axel wanted to know about its 'Hidden power' typing. So, Axel got the TM for 'Hidden power'. He put it on its head and Tauros started to learn the new move. Since it was just 3 months old, it took quite some time to learn the move.

Congratulations! Tauros had learned the move Hidden power.

Hidden power- Electric

"Hmm… that is good typing for Tauros. With its high speed and attack power, the electric type would support it a lot.

Axel wanted it to learn the following moves:

1. Swords dance:- It would raise the attack power of the Tauros.

2. Double team:- It would help to create an extra defense for Tauros.

3. Endure:- It had to take a lot of hits as it would be a physical attacker.

4. Thrash:- A strong physical type move. Perfect for Tauros.

5. Earthquake:- A ground type move for extra coverage.

6. Wild Charge: An electric move that would raise the speed of the user.

But first, he wanted it to have good physical stat. so, he would start to train it with 'Thrash' and 'Horn attack'.

He took Tauros towards a big field. There was a huge tree in the field.

"Tauros, are you ready to start your training?"

"Roarr…", it shouted excitedly. It was waiting for this day to train and become strong.

"You already know 'Horn attack'. Close your eyes, power up your horns and then attack that tree with full force.", said Axel pointing to the big tree.

"Ivysaur, before the attack, use 'Grassy terrain' near the tree to make it stronger."

"Now, Tauros, use 'Horn attack'"

Roarrr….

Its horn started to glow and it started to run toward the tree. It slammed the big tree with full power.

Bang…..

The result?

Tauros was laying on the ground in pain while the tree just had a bit of scratch.

What would one expect from a 3 month old Pokemon who just started to train? But something surprised Axel. Instead of wailing in pain for a long time it stood up and got ready to train within 10 seconds.

This showed how strong and resilient it was.

"Tauros, get ready to use 'Horn attack' again.". it hopped and run towards Axel to use the move again.

Bang…

Bang…

BANG…

BANG….

After using the move for 30 minutes it became tired. It had used the attack more than 20 times.

It should be remembered that 'Horn attack' was stamina consuming and using it continuously for 30 minutes was not a joke.

"Tauros, now take rest for some time. Remember, working hard is good but you must also take rest."

Axel then made some food for Tauros to eat. He had received it from Venu family for free. After gaining a gym with Axel's help, Venu family gained a huge amount of resources and fame. Angela also told Axel that he would not have to give any rewards that he received. As per the previous contract, Axel had to give 20% of any income to the Venu family. But now he didn't have to do any of that.

As a part of generosity, Angela also gave food recipes for Absol and Tauros line. The said recipe would make Tauros stronger. It would increase its defense, attack, and speed.

"Tauros, now get ready for 'Horn attack' again."

It practiced for 30 minutes again.

Within 1 hour it had improved a lot.

"Tauros, rest for 1 hour. I will now instruct Absol."

Axel also took out a potion, as it had some scratches.

Axel then looked at Absol. If you look into games and anime, Absol was not a powerful Pokemon. Furthermore, Dark type Pokemon didn't have good attack power. It had a variety of moves with a variety of effects but there were hardly any good attack moves.

Dark type Pokemon are evil. They are the villain. They fight dirty. Dishonorable. Lawbreakers. They're perceived to be bad or evil. They are feared or made to be feared. They're vicious and/or brutal. Very negative. And commonly associated with the dark if not nocturnal in nature.

"Don't worry Absol. I would make you the most powerful Absol ever.", said Axel patting its head.
