441 Talking to Red
After 1 week,
"What do you mean by that?", shouted Axel to the receptionist at the Pokemon center.
"Sir, this is really true. You can not transfer your Pokemons in balls when a Pokemon reaches king rank. The device is not advanced enough to do it. Didn't you know about this?"
"How can I know about this when I have not heard about it from anywhere?"
"I am sorry sir, but you have to personally go there and call your Pokemons.", said the girl giving a low bow.
Axel was at the Pokemon Center arguing with the receptionist who handled PC. PC was basically used to transfer your Pokemons. You would let the Pokemon get inside the balls and use the PC from one location to send the ball to another location.
He had done the same thing when he was selecting Dratini for his sister. Now he was hearing that he could not do the same of a Pokemon that was king rank and above.
He had never heard about this and he was not stupid. Very few trainers would have a king-rank Pokemon and even fewer would leave their king-rank Pokemon far away from them.
Red had also not said anything about it to Axel and now Axel was in a pinch.
Axel had given Shedinja's ball to Gengar and Charizard's ball to Elizabeth so that they could transfer it to Axel during the time of need. Now, he would either have to go there personally and get them or both of them had to fly here.
Both of these solutions were not feasible. He could not go there cause, during the time of the league battles, a contestant could not get out of the Kanto League premises.
Both of his Pokemon could fly but the distance was very far. It would take him around 3 days to reach Charizard's place and around 30 hours to reach Shedinja's place on a plane. So, it would take them days, or even weeks to reach the Kanto League.
He talked with Gengar and Elizabeth and both of them didn't have any Pokemons that could teleport long distances. Gengar could do it but it was not as good as Red's Alakazam or Oak's Alakazam. Even if it could, it could not leave the tribe.
It was a god rank Pokemon. A god-ranked Pokemon coming to the Kanto League would be huge news and it may backfire on Gengar and Axel.
So, the only solution that he had was for them to fly manually towards the Kanto League.
"Would Marcus be safe traveling such a long distance?", asked Axel.
"Don't worry, Marcus is a king-rank Pokemon now. There would be very few Pokemons that could even fight with it and normally wild Pokemons would not interfere with others if they minded their own business.
But I will send 2 pseudo-champion rank Pokemons with Marcus. However, it would take a long time. Even though Marcus could fly, it cannot fly very fast as this is not its forte.", said Gengar.
"Don't worry I will wait for it.", said Axel.
Elizabeth said the same thing that it would send 2 pseudo-champion rank Charizards with Axel's Charizard. Charizard could fly very fast so it may reach here faster but Charizard was further away from the Kanto league.

Axel didn't worry about it for very long. He knew that the league would manipulate the battle sequence and he would probably fight with Bruno at last. By that time Shedinja and Charizard would arrive here hopefully cause he needed them for Bruno.
He called Lance…
Tring.. Tring.. Tring.. Tring..
Katchak…
"Hey Axel, I was just about to call you. Where do you want to meet?", asked Lance.
"I am coming to your home. Call Lorelai too. I want to meet your father and grandmother."
"Oh, so you have finally decided to meet them."
"Yes, it is serious Lance. Tell them to be there too."
"Why? What is the problem?"
"Can't talk it on the phone. I will reach your place in 15 minutes.", said Axel and hung up the phone.

After 15 minutes,
The gate of the mansion opened and Axel entered. He was welcomed by Lance and Lorelai.
"Ok, now can you tell me?", asked Lance.
"Not now, let go inside first and meet with your father and grandmother."
Lance got serious after seeing Axel cause it seemed that Axel was not in a joking mood. What had happened? He didn't know but he was about to.
Both of them walked inside the house and Lance led them to a room.
It was basically a small-sized hall. There was furniture, and beautiful interiors, and the place was filled with many chairs.
There was a different and unique chair at the front and Dragon was sitting there. Agatha was just sitting on the right side and a beautiful girl was sitting on the left side.
Dragon looked very muscular. He had a big mustache, short hair, big biceps, and long legs. He looked very manly. He was releasing a dangerous aura. Axel already knew that he was way more powerful than Axel himself.
Agatha was also not holding back. She may be old with gray and white hair but she also looked very intimidating. The girl next to them was also not simple but she looked way more mellow compared to both of them.
"WELCOME Axel Balze. I have been trying to meet you for the longest time.", said Dragon as it stood from the chair to greet Axel.
The young woman also stood up to greet Axel but Agatha remained seated. She was an Elite 4 member. She didn't have to greet a kid.
"Hello, I am Clair and I am the current gym leader of Blackthorn city.", said the young woman.
Axel also greeted them very politely and all of them began to sit on chairs.
"So, you told me that something is serious. Can you tell me now what it is?", asked Dragon.
"Yes sir, I called Red today. He had been training me for the past 7 months. He just vanished from the hotel saying that he had some work and I could only connect to him today.", said Axel.
"What about him?", asked Agatha.
"Well, he said that something big is going to happen in Kanto league and I must be careful and be prepared for it."
"Did he now? Did he say anything else?", asked Dragon.
"Well, he said that he is very busy with some task that Oak assigned him. He also doesn't know anything other than that cause they would not tell him. However, he told me that something big might happen and we should be very careful.
I just came here to ask what that thing is. Cause I think that you guys might know about it.", said Axel.
"We don't know any such information. The league dominates such information and none of us are part of the league. Do you know something like that Mother?", asked Dragon.
"I have no clue.", replied Agatha.
"Red is a powerful trainer but he might also be wrong. I don't know why we are taking this thing so seriously.", commented Clair.
"Clair, you don't know Red but I do. He might have given up on becoming a Pokemon master but a man could not reach such a level if he is not capable. Clair, remember my words, Red is a dangerous man. He is ruthless but over time I have realized that his instincts are always correct.
So, if he says that something big is going to happen, then something big will happen. Axel, I thank you for such valuable information and I think we should prepare for it.", declared Dragon.
"But what should we prepare for? We don't even know what is coming?", asked Clair.
"Tell all our family members to close all the shops and businesses till the end of the league battle. Tell all of them to buy as much food and resources for an entire 2 months and tell them to never leave the premises.
I am declaring a lockdown till the league battle ends.
Lance would be allowed to go for the league battles but he would be escorted by Clair. As much I hate the league, I know that it is a safe place."
"Uncle, that would cost us millions of Poke dollars, even billions. Do you really think that we should do this?", asked Clair.
"I think we should. What do you have to say about it Mother?", asked Dragon.
"You made a correct decision. We should do it. Also, Axel, tell all your team members to come to our premises. They would be safe and protected. That is the reward for your information. Lorelai, you also call your parents and family to our premises. Our premises are big, so you don't have to worry about it.", said Agatha.
Clair was surprised by Dragon and Agatha's decision. They were very precise and strict. Clair didn't know much about Red. She only knew that Red was a powerful trainer and he recently gave up being a Pokemon master. So her family valuing his decision so much shocked her.
Lance was also shocked by this radical decision. What the hell was happening right now? The situation had changed a lot. He could not challenge his father's decision cause he knew that his father was an experienced man.
Dragon began to write something on a sheet of paper. He stamped it signed it and told Clair to communicate the decision to all of his family members. He had a big family. There were thousands of years of history.
"Now that thing is settled, what do you guys think is going to happen?", asked Dragon.
"Many things could happen. However, I can some assumptions. Either we are going to be invaded by wild Pokemons or wild humans.", said Agatha.
"Do you really think that any organization is that crazy that they would dare to invade one of the most secure places on the planet?", asked Axel.
"We can't predict humans. They can do anything. If it is the tide, then it would be a bit simple. A wild Pokemon must have ranked up to Champion rank or master rank for that to happen.
We can collect the data for it but that would be hard too.
If it is some organizations, then it would be complicated. They must have planned this event for years and they are way ahead of us.", said Agatha.
They started to discuss. Axel also called Hector to call all their team members to Lance's premises.
Within a short few hours, everyone was informed that something bad was going to happen and they should prepare for it.
His team members were excited. They had trained a lot and now they can show their progress. However, Axel was not so happy about it. Their training had not been completed and there would be a chance that some of them might die.
Axel called all of his lieutenants for a good plan. He wanted all of his team members to be safe. The planning phase went on for quite some time and soon it was the next day.

Everyone was surprised tomorrow. Lance's family had gone into lockdown. The shops were closed, other business ventures were closed, and even the gate was closed.
Nobody knew what was happening. This was a surprise move. Some of the close families tried to contact Dragon and Agatha but they didn't give any response.

A week went by and now it was time for finals. The battle lineups had already been decided some day before.
There were 8 contestants left for the finals. Axel was fighting tomorrow but Lance was fighting today.
They wanted to extend the finals to make it more suspenseful. That was why, 2 battles would be held today and 2 battles would be held tomorrow.
Since it was the finals, a trainer would have to fight with 3 Pokemons. Axel didn't go to the stadium. He preferred to see the battle on TV. It was already dangerous to go outside. He didn't want to take the risk.
The battles were more interesting now. Since it was not a single Pokemon fight, it took a longer time and more strategies.
Lance had won the battle but it was harder than before. His Arcanine was the one who helped him the most in this battle.

Next day,
Bruno was also fighting today but not with Axel. Bruno was fighting with another trainer named Karen and Axel was fighting against Dani.
Bruno was fighting first.
He started with Crobat and won the first battle. Then he switched to Primeape and won it again. He didn't switch again and lost the third battle. He used Crobat again and finished the battle.
Bruno didn't even have to take out his third Pokemon to win. Axel was realizing that his battle with Bruno would harder than he thought cause Karen was a powerful trainer. She was older than Bruno and Axel and she had powerful pseudo-king rank Pokemons.
Axel was going to battle next.
