"Huff…. Huff.. Finally"

The Blastoise was safely caught inside the Pokeball. That Blastoise was crazy. It had a fiery personality. Lyra's Machamp lost the battle and Lyra had to use Poliwrath to end the battle. It was a strong Pokemon and now it was in Lyra's hands. Axel was a bit jealous about it but he didn't pay it much mind.

Catching a rare ranked Pokemon and raising one from the start are 2 different things. If a Pokemon is raised from the start, the trainer had many options on how to train it and it would be more powerful than the wild one that had been just caught. If Axel wanted a Blastoise he would catch a Squirtle with high potential and train it to become a powerful Blastoise. On second thought, Axel already had Bulbasaur and Charmeleon. If he catches a Squirtle, he would have all the starter Pokemons.

They traveled for a whole day and decided to camp after finding a good place. Machamp and other Pokemons started to clear the trees to make up a place for camp. The five trainers had made their own rough version of the training ground by themselves with the help of their Pokemon. None of them wanted to be disturbed. They made a burning fire and ate their food chatting about the most random things and went to sleep.

Early in the morning,

[Ding! Nidorino's Poison ball has leveled up to 10. Congratulation!! Poison ball has reached 'Understanding' grade]

[Ding! Charmeleon has unlocked its hidden ability 'Solar power']

"Finally!!" shouted Axel. After a month of hard training, Nidorino had leveled up 'Poison ball' to the desired level. Now, it was time to learn the Rasengan version of the poison ball. Axel congratulated Nidorino for a job well done.

Axel had thought a lot about Nidorino's future plans. When it comes to poison, there are 2 things to note.

1. Type of poison

2. Effect of poison.

Rasengan version of poison was to increase the effect of poison. There were 3 steps of Rasengan.

1. Rotation- Spinning the ball

2. Power- Increase the volume and density of the ball

3. Containment- Combine the 2 steps in a contained sphere.

Axel could have made Nidorino learn it one at a time. But frankly, there was no need for it. Nidorino had already learned to make a ball of poison. All it need to do was to spin it at a fast speed and also increase the power of the poison. Saying this was easier than doing it but he knew that Nidorino could do it with enough time.

Axel spent half a day teaching the correct way for Nidorino to do it. After that, he focused on Piloswine.

Axel wanted it to learn 'Ancient power' before giving it never-melt-ice (X2). He hypothesized that since never-melt-ice were 100 and 1000 yrs old, they would help it evolve into Mamoswine through the help of 'Ancient power'. But since none of his or the group's Pokemon had learned it, it was difficult for Axel to teach Piloswine.

He thought about it with a cool head and came up with a simple solution. The solution was so simple that he nearly smacked his head to the rock realizing his stupidness.

He may not have the TM for it or any knowledge but he could contact Mark for help. Though they were on an unknown island, the communications were on. The explorer team had done a good up setting it up.

"Yo, Axel. What's up??"

"Good. You seem a little happier than usual?"

"Yes, we just got the gym thanks to you. So we are all celebrating. Anyway, how is the unknown island? I am so jealous of you."

"Really? You want to come to such a dangerous place?"

"Dangerous, yes. But that place is full of new things for research."

"Ok. I called you for a favor. Can you send me a video on how to teach 'Ancient power' to a Pokemon?"

"Yeah sure. The move is a bit tricky but not so hard to teach."

"Thanks. By the way, do you know what the move 'Ancient power' really is? I don't mean the general definition but why is it called 'Ancient power'?"

Mark didn't say anything for some time and thought about it.

"I have not given much of a thought about it. Damn it! Every time you come up with an interesting question. I would look into it if you like. I feel interested in this topic."

"Yeah sure. There is not much I can do there anyway. You looking into it would be a huge help for me. I gotta go right now. Have a lot of work to do."

Axel hung up the phone after a brief conversation. Mark had already sent the video. Axel called Piloswine to watch the video together. As Mark said, the move was not hard but was a bit complicated to figure out. Piloswine got to work after watching the video.

Axel now only had one thing to worry about and that was Charmeleon.

Charmeleon was the most talented among Axel's group except Absol but it was also the one who had not developed well. There were many reasons for it. One of them was due to Charmeleon's arrogance. It took time for it to realize its mistake and the second reason was Axel losing his eyesight.

Charmeleon had worked hard but most of its moves were only dragon and fire types. He needed to diversify its moves. As of right now, he could only come up with one move which was perfect for it.

'Thunder punch.'

This move had electric typing which Charmeleon didn't have. It was a physical move which was good for Charmeleon.

There was another move that Axel thought would be good for it and the move was 'Sunny day'.

Sunny day had many uses for Charmeleon and it may be one of Charmeleon's trump cards in the future.
