158 Never-melt-ice
Piloswine had learned 'Ancient power' the next day. Charmeleon was also not back on the line. It also learned 'Sunny day' at the same time as Piloswine. The move was not hard to learn as Bulbasaur had already learned it and it was a fire-type move. 'Sunny day' has many uses for Charmeleon. Some of them were:
1. The power of fire-type move increases
2. The power of water-type move decreases
3. The Pokemon cannot be frozen
4. And finally its hidden ability 'Solar power' could be put on to good use.
With the use of 'Sunny day', the Sp. Attck of the Pokemon increases by 50% but the user's Hp decreases slowly. This was like a berserk ability. The boost of 50% was not a joke. Obviously, Charmeleon could not increase it to 50% as it had not mastered the ability but in the later stages, it would be a boon to Charmeleon.

Charmeleon learned 'Thunder punch' after a couple of hours. One of Ryker's Pokemon knew the move and helped him in return for a future favor. Axel didn't mind the trade. Axel could have asked Mark to send the video of 'Thunder punch' too but learning it through video would take much time and Axel didn't have time to waste. Now it was time for Piloswine to eat the Never-melt-ice.

It was evening. All the young trainers were gathered around looking at Piloswine. They wanted to see it eating the never-melt-ice. Axel was only going to use 100 yr one at first. He would give it 1000 yr one after it had fully digested the previous one.
Piloswine slowly ate the ice. It was enough to finish it in one bite but Piloswine took its time. After eating it, nothing happened for 10 seconds. Then…..
ROARRRR.....
"What is happening?" asked Axel worriedly. He had only used items like this to Nidorino when it was evolving and it was not in pain.
"What did you expect? It is a naturally formed 100 yr never-melt-ice. Naturally formed resources are at least 5 times stronger than artificial ones. It would take some time to get used to it. Don't worry" replied Lyra with confidence.
Axel started to watch his Pokemon in worry. Ice fog started to spread and the ground near it started to turn into ice.
"I think we should move a bit far." said Lance and all of them moved. Snow started to rage around Piloswine like a small blizzard. This process continued for some time and it slowly started to stop. Finally, Axel could see Piloswine near the piles of snow and ice. It had fainted. He hurriedly went to check his Pokemon and found that it was just sleeping soundly.
"Don't worry. It is ok. It would still take a lot of time to completely digest it but it would grow powerful" said Lyra.

Inside, Axel was surprised that a mere 100yr old Never-melt-ice could bring such a huge benefit and it has only still not been fully consumed. What would a 1000 yr old Never-melt-ice possibly do? However, Axel knew that it would be foolish to try it now. Piloswine could hardly consume 100yr one. So, 1000yr old was out of the question for now. But he realized that he made a great deal with Lyra

As per the system stats, Piloswine might be the most powerful Pokemon in Axel's team. This was crazy. Axel made a mental note to find these types of natural items.
Piloswine was in a deep sleep so, he let it rest. The group had a barbecue. Axel was in a good mood today. Piloswine had leveled up a lot. Nidorino had started to learn the Rasengan version of poison and Charmeleon had learned 'Thunder punch' and 'Sunny day'. He was now eagerly waiting for the battle which was due after a couple of days.

It was the 7th day. Today the group would battle each other. It was not to decide the winner but to notice the improvement of the group as a whole. But since it was a battle, there was little competition.
