The glow continued for 5 minutes. 5 minutes may be a small time on normal days but a battle could be decided in 2 seconds. Nidorino was not interfered with by any Pokemons. But Shedinja had to fight 2 of the elemental-ranked Pokemons.

Thankfully, since Breloom was already injured, Shedinja managed to defeat it. But it was almost out of stamina and Butterfree looked menacing. Others were fighting at a good pace. Axel was concentrating of Shedinja. Then he heard a powerful roar.

The blast made Axel fall to the ground. Debris started to fly everywhere and he could not see anything. What the hell was happening now?

Axel opened his eyes, slowly but steadily. It took him some time to get his vision clear. He could tell he was in a hospital room. He tried to stand up but severe pain in his head made him crash into the bed again. As he fell on the bed again, the headache intensified.

"Fuck!! What is happening?", he shouted. The shouting also pained his head. He tried to move his arms to fall his head only to notice that there was a bandage on his head. It looked like he got injured on the head. But how? And when? Axel could not figure it out.

"You were hit in the head by a rock.", came a sweet voice. The voice was from a woman who was wearing a lap coat.

"Hi. I am doctor Serene.", said the woman and shacked Axel's hand. She went on to the procedures explaining to Axel the damage on his head. It would take him 3 days to fully heal. He could be discharged in 2 days.

The doctor told him that all of his Pokemons are in good condition. "I am also a part of the league. You have done us a great service by finding Lance and the team. You also helped us capture multiple kidnappers and one of them is the executive. The league has decided to reward you handsomely. After 2 days you would get the rewards. Now rest."

The doctor gave a brief description of his situation. She also assured him that his friends were doing well. A total of 8 young trainers died. There were around 50 of them that were captured. It was not a huge number but Axel still felt bad about it. He could have done something to save those trainers. He felt regret. The doctor gave him a sleeping pill as his head was about to burst. Axel closed his eyes to rest.

Axel was now ready to get the rewards. He was called into the league headquarters. Unlike the last time when a simple guard would stop him, this time he was escorted by them. He felt very rich and famous.

"Mr. Axel, please come to his door, the member of the league is ready to meet you.", said a beautiful girl. She bowed and pointed towards the door and Axel went towards it.

The room was big. On second thought why was everything in this world so big? Seated on the chairs were some familiar faces that he had seen on TV. They were the elite 4 members. Lance, Lorelai, Lucious and Raze.

The old woman started to speak, "Since the last person has arrived, we would continue. My name is Agatha, a ghost type trainer. I am also a member of elite 4. This is Bruno, a fighting-type elite 4. Others there are Cilian and Harrison. We are the elite 4 members. We have called you here due to the recent incident that you are aware of.", said Agatha.

All of them nodded their head. It was very rare for every elite 4 members to be present in the league at one time. However, due to their meeting with Prof. Oak, all of them were present.

"Due to your help, we have been able to get a lead on Greed, a criminal organization that operates in the Sinnoh region. The normal public does not know but there are 7 criminal organizations that are famous in our world. They are- Greed, Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath and Sloth. Each of the organizations operates in a different region. Pride operates in Kanto region. Though we are not sure, all of these organizations seem to be connected and are helping each other.

I am only telling you this cause of your situation. Since you have helped us on getting a lead on Greed, you may stumble upon them from now on. I would advise you to be guarded and safe.", said Agatha. She let this news sink in.

Honestly, Axel was not afraid of them. Since he started his journey, all the problems had come to find him. So, he was pretty sure that this one would too. He felt like a protagonist in a webnovel. He was always jealous of their luck but now he knew how nerve-racking it was.

"Let me give you the details. 8 of the young trainers died. We caught 15 members, 2 elite members, and 1 executive of Greed. The rest of them were killed."

Another silence descended after the statement.

"Now, on to rewards and punishment. Lance, you were the leader of the team during the mission. Did you fail the mission miserably?"
