Starter Pokémon

As John caught up to the receptionist lady, he started to look around the computer area. There were 6 rows of computers and each row having about 10 computers.

The computers looked like a mix between the old 1980's ones and around 2010's. T hey had a huge box at the back but the keyboard and mouse seemed to be wirelessly connected to the computer.

As soon as John started to catch up after the reception lady, she stopped and turned to him.

"Hello newbie what is your name" said the receptionist.

"Ah its John Liezel"

"Ok John. This is the computer you have borrowed and you have 5 minutes to use this. Anymore time on it will be taken out of your monthly allowance."

"Monthly allowance? what's that."

"It will be explained to you when you and all the other newbies meet up again."

After the receptionist land said that she turned around and started to walk back to her desk and do what she was doing before. John turned to the computer and dialled in his houses phone number and then pressed call.

After about 3 rings it was answered by someone with crimson red hair and brown eyes.

"Hello who is this" said the person on the call. When she looked up she noticed that it was a boy with Crimson red hair and crimson red eyes.

"Ah John. What are you doing calling me? shouldn't you be doing your test right now?"

"Yes mum I was supposed to be doing it but I'm no longer doing it."

"Why are you not doing it John. You know that if they catch you skipping it the will make you become a trainer!" Heather said with a worried and sad look.

"Don't worry mum, I didn't skip the test. I volunteered to become a trainer."

There was a silence for about 1 minute before she yelled.

"WHHAATT!!!!!?"

"Why did you volunteer to become a trainer. If you hadn't have volunteered you would have most likely not been picked. So why! why!. *sob**sob**sob* why *sob*" Heather said while tears were streaming down her face.

"Mum I want to go somewhere in life and not just stay inside the walls and live in constant fear of the Pokémon outside them. At least if I volunteer to become a trainer, my name will be left in history as someone who volunteered and not some normal construction worker."

"Anyway I have to go mum because I need to start looking at the starter Pokémon. Bye."

"If I find out you got injured outside or even inside the walls, I will kill you. I hope you know that mister!"

"*sigh* Ok mum. Bye now."

"Bye.*sob**sob*"

With that John hung up the phone and went straight towards the receptionist lady. As soon as he got there the receptionist lady look up and saw him.

"Are you done with the computer?"

"Yes"

"Ok, now follow me so you can see the starter Pokémon."

The receptionist lady then got up out of her seat and instead of going left back into the area of the computers, she went to the right side which looked like a waiting area.

After we got in there John noticed a door with a note saying

'Please line up quietly and orderly, Enter when instructed by the officers.'

After John finished reading that note they walked straight into the area behind the doors. as soon as he entered the doors, John noticed 4 guards standing in the hallway where the door leads to.

'I guess they have to do that because some people are stupid enough to barge in and try and take the Pokémon.'

After John and the receptionist lady walked in the door, they in the hallway for about 30 seconds until the arrived at another door with another note saying the same thing on the front door.

After they entered that door, John noticed that there was many different Pokémon laid out and sorted by what Pokémon there are. From what John could see there were 5 types of pokemon.

About 15 weedle, 15 carerpie, 8 spearow, 7 pidgey and 5 zubat.
