CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

"Jia...Ive already informed Allen about your condition...she has agreed....we will be meeting for the contract signing tomorrow afternoon is that okay?"

"Yeah...its okay."

The next morning, Jia did not go to work with Wei Sihan.

He was abit upset but after recalling that he can now go to Devoir to finish designing the ring he had no choice but to agree.

He had stopped going for a while to avoid suspicious..

he couldn't afford to waste all his efforts.

After breakfast, Jia went to her studio. After two hours...She took her phone then opened her weibo account..she was shocked to see over two million followers.

The last time she had checked she had slightly over five hundred thousand.

She opened a fan group then posted her picture and captioned it "welcome to Jia's fan base give me 2000+likes and ill reward you guys with a special video" then logged out.

She looked at her watch...she had about 2hours.

She went back to the main house ate a light lunch then went upstairs to get ready.

After thirty minutes, she went downstairs dressed in a simple black dress paired with red stilletos and a long brown trench coat.

She looked simple yet elegant. This time she rode with Jinhai as Xiaobai went to get everything ready before her arrival.

Paaaaaaang...Jiang Yan smashed her manager's phone....She had just seen Glamour's post about signing Jia li as a model. She was extremely angry thinking about how Glamour never signs models. Everyone was commenting about it even her own fans which annoyed her so much.

Zhang Yue was still useless...his startup company could not help her acquire any roles yet.

She had to do something about it. She told herself. Her manager then spoke.."Jiang how about you audition for revenge if you get the role you will be far better than Jia."

She thought for a while then asked..." Who will be the judges?"

"Am not sure ill confirm then tell you...this is the script."

The manager handed her the script then walked out leaving Jiang yan thinking of ways to get the role. She had to be better than Jia.

Jia laid her head on the leather sofa....chatting happily with Jinhai...They had become friends aside from being her bodyguard they got along as they were almost age mates.

"Miss Jia we are here."

"I told you to just call me Jia when your other boss is not around."

He scratched his head then spoke.."Am just not used to it but I'll try."

He opened the door then raised his hand up against the door to avoid Jia from knocking her head then helped her out.

She walked elegantly with her heels clacking against the white tiles.

Jinhai walked behind her holding Jia's bag and trench coat.

They had about an hour.....So the reporters had not yet arrived...The contract signing would take place at the main hall.

"Allen."

Allen turned around then smiled when she saw Jia.."We will start signing in an hour's time...Ooh i forgot to inform your assistant that its a three year contract which can be renewed is it still okay?"

"Its okay....thank you for this opportunity."

"No need to thank me you are a gem."

"How about a light snack before we begin as i update you on some issues."

"sure."

Jia followed Allen to her office....She looks at the large simple office but smaller than Wei Sihan's office which gives out a comfy vibe. Jia nodded in satisfaction then followed Allen to the sofa.

Allen hands Jia the contract....Jia flips the paper seriously then hands Jinhai to go through it and confirm any hidden clause.

All Wei Sihan's bodyguards are extremely top notch aside from being bodyguards, after undergoing intense martial arts training they attend physical classes about how to handle small matters hence parts where Jia cannot verify Jinhai is professional skilled to identify any problem.

She hands Jia the contract then nods at her. Jia turns to Allen then says..."I think its okay. "

The contract is very professional in that it allows Jia to go to glamour when there is a shoot.....on other days Jia can go at will.

Allen spoke after seeing Jia's satisfaction. Allen had become a mother figure in Jia's life they could talk about anything.

"By yesterday..all our products were sold out from all the stores in less than two weeks Jia....you are indeed extraordinary...we would normally take two to three months worst case about half a year this is truly extraordinary...Our estimated net worth this time is 1billion you deserve all the credit."

She held Jia's hand then smiles at her lovingly...."Next week Glamour's annual magazines will be out....I cant wait to see you look so beautiful."

"You also deserve the credit for taking me in despite being a newcomer...dont worry i wont let you down." Jia spoke.

Allen stood up to retrieve something on her drawer then went back to Jia and handed her a brown envelope.

Jia looked at the envelope she felt an inexplicable feeling....This was her first salary....She earned it.

They talked for about thirty minutes more then went downstairs hand in hand.

They went to the main hall and sat facing the reporters. Xiaobai and Jinhai stood behind her...."Greetings, Ladies and gentlemen...Allen spoke...

we are here today to first welcome Jia to the Entertainment industry officially and signing her as our model.

As you all know the rules of Glamour this is the first time in history that we have a contracted model. I look forward to working with Jia if you have any questions we'll answer them after the signing Thank you."

Allen's assistant moved forward then handed Allen two documents. Jia perused the document to confirm if it was the same document she had looked at in Allen's office the difference was this document stated the amount which is five hundred thousand dollars per month it was considered abit low for models but just enough for her.

Seeing no problem, Xiaobai handed her a pen then Jia signed her name on it. Allen signed after her, then handed her one of the documents.

"You can now ask your questions one question per person strictly work matters only." She looked at the impatient reporters then declared.
