Cassidy saw Janelle paled face and bruised chin, she already had an idea of what was going on.

She walked to Janelle side and held her shoulder"Come, let's go"Janelle stood up and followed Cassidy into a cab and to her house.

"Elle,what happened?"it seem like asking that question triggered something in her because Janelle started crying.

Cassidy didn't stop her, instead she sat by her and laid Janelle's head on her shoulder.

What seem like ages, she finally stopped crying.

"Cas...Can you believe you called me a murderer's daughter?"

Cassidy was shocked just like how Janelle had been shocked when he had said it to her.

"How dare he?...Am going to show him a piece of my mind"she raised her fists in the air in anger but Janelle stopped her.

"Cassie,tell me the truth... Was i wrong back then?...Do i really deserve all this things happening to me?...Am i cruel?"Cassidy was quiet and didn't speak.

"What you did was right and anyone in your shoes would have done the same. Stop blaming yourself already"Cassidy comforted.

"Then,why does it feel like am wrong?"she urged for an answer.

Cassidy felt her eyes sting for her friend.

Cassidy stood up"It's being so long since you last visited me, I'll make you something very delicious"Cassidy said to get Janelle's mind of him.

Janelle's eyes watered.

"No need...Cassie, you've done so much for me and i don't even know how to thank you. It's just that am having a tough time right now..."Cassie used her finger to keep Janelle quiet.

"Hold it right there missy,you don't have to thank me for anything. When you were still living well,you took care of me and treated me like family and even your family brought me in. For the first time,i felt the love of a real family, something i had never felt before but you showed me. It's actually you i should be thanking"After the two girls poured out their heart warm speech and let all their tears poured out.

Cassidy stood up"I'll go make lunch"Janelle also stood up.

"Great,am coming"she smiled all the way to her eyes feeling a little better and also guilty for not being able to tell Cassidy about her and Alex.

Janelle bit her lips and followed her to the kitchen where they made an egg sandwich and fries with a ordered cappuccino.

They both sat down to watch an horror movie screaming their heads out and laughing at times to the point their stomach hurt.

"Nooooo....Run!!!"Janelle screamed gripping Cassidy arm tightly.

"I think i should be the one running instead"Janelle immediately retracted her hands and chewed on her fingertips,her face was focused on the TV.

"He could have escaped that...I mean did he expect the monster to say am a monster when he asked who's there?"Cassidy rolled her eyes taking a bite of her egg sandwich and sipping a cappuccino.

Janelle pouted but couldn't refute when the scene changed to an R18 scene.

Janelle didn't seem bothered and watched it however Cassidy case was different.

Her cheeks turned slightly red as she puffed it up"Cassie,are you ill or something?...Do you need to go to an hospital?"Janelle asked completely worried.

Cassidy waved her hand seeing that she had overreacted"No...this scene is just too inappropriate"Cassidy frowned watching it but her mind wandered yet again and she was blushing as hell.

"WTF!,why aren't they done already?"Cassidy screamed when the movie ended.

"Ah...Nooooo....how could they have ended it like that?. There surely must be a part two or something"Janelle cried out.

"Stop whining already, it's a series, tomorrow will be the finale. It had actually started a long time ago"Cassidy rolled her eyes seeing the exasperated Janelle.

"Then I'll come here tommorow again to watch it"Janelle eyes beamed.

"It's time to get home, it's already 5p.m"Janelle said yawning while standing up.

"Where did you live by the way,i came to your apartment and heard you have moved out"Janelle froze.

How was she supposed to say that she was now living with Alex.
