Every student had to be graded based on their magic power; skills, and swordsmanship. They are required to enter a D rank dungeon and will be graded based on the number of monsters they kill, but before the class examination, the master of the academy had a few words to say to the students therefore everyone was called to the assembly hall. The students were busy chattering when a middle-aged came to stand on the makeshift stage to address the students. He was the headmaster of the academy. Master Nimrod Dale is an A rank knight and part of the royal family's fractions. He was one of the people Luna had to be careful of.

After the headmaster's long speech the students were sent to the dungeon gate that appeared in the basement of the school. The gate was not closed because they decided to use it for training as it was a low-level dungeon. Each student was required to kill at least twenty beasts to get D-rank; for C- rank you are required to kill over thirty; over fifty for B rank and seventy for A rank they did not state requirement's for S rank as they don't believe any student can attain it. The dungeon was full of C-rank monsters. The exam required each student to kill stone foxes, and as the name says they were foxes made of stone and they had a great defense. To avoid wasting time they were asked to group up into teams of five naturally Alice and Luna were on the same team, they were joined by a pair of twins named Tiana and Thomas Roberts, if Luna was not mistaken they are the son and daughter of Viscount Robert who was part of the Grey's fraction. 'It seems I have found myself some allies thought Luna. "Hello my name is Alice Sheppard I am the second daughter of Marquess Jacob Sheppard, and this right here is my cousin Luna Sheppard" she gestured to the right which was where Luna was standing. "Oh my! You're young lady Sheppard. It's an honor to meet you" Tiana said as they bowed their heads." " Team of Jacob; Tiana and Ezekiel Robert along with Alice and Luna Sheppards come forward " said one of the knights who was working the academy. Most of the students of the academy were children of rich families and noble and as soon they heard the names that have been called they stared at the group that was approaching the front. "Is something wrong? Why is everyone staring at us?" Alice asked as she looked around. "Well, my lady the Sheppard and Robert family a closely aligned with Duke Grey who is known as the most terrifying and powerful nobleman" this time it was Thomas who answered."Oh so that's it" replied Alice. "And let's not forget that there is a rumor that lady Sheppard is the only nobleman's child that is allowed to be friends with the Duke's daughter," said Ezekiel with a flat tone, " And I assume they find Alice fascinating due to that" sarcasm was evident in Luna's tone as she said this. "Yes" replied Ezekiel. 'But it seems your more interesting than Alice, Ezekiel Roberts' Luna thought as she stared at Ezekiel questioningly.
