Planeswalker Multiverse Traveling

Adventure always calls me no matter how much I tried to suppress the need to travel, explore and discover. Guess the adventure came to me. I own nothing but a few plot points an OC's.

After following the road for a few hours we finally reached what looks like what used to be a military checkpoint. If the scattered brass, leftover guns, and bodies covered in ragged fatigues. Spying around the torn chain link fences, pushed over sandbags, and behind all that about four hundred yards in a conclave on the side of a mountain are what looks like a half-melted steel bunker blast door.

Milling around between the melted blast door and the fallen gate is a crowd of the reanimated that is currently staring back at me. Turning as one they all start shuffling in my direction stepping over the fallen bodies, and discarded equipment.

Hearing stepping beside me I look over and stand eye to eye with my titan. I nod and wave my hand forward with unneeded words to be said. With a nod of his head, he raised his oversized mace to his right and wave it forward with a rumbling bellow. Following his bellow a tidal wave of bodies maneuvers between his and the elephant's feet. With a trail on the pavement being melted from the falling acid they tear through the leftover barriers. Unlike the Reanimated the Zombies sprint without inhabitants going form a standing position to a full sprint in a few seconds. It was like around one hundred zombie trains sprinting to their Undead foes.

Watching this 'fight' reminds me of a question I was asked when drunk 'Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses, or 10 horse-sized ducks' shaking my head not knowing why that came up in my head.

Two minutes is how long it took for the Zombies to take out the re-animated crowd. After they are all dead a few of the Zombies that were in the back of the crowd started going from Reanimated to Reanimated grabbing the bodies and sticking them on oversized meat hooks and dragging them back toward us for the titan to devour with his ability.

Looking over him I can not see anything behind the falling black mist beside his gold eyes staring back at me. Thinking on what to do next "Clear out the base kill anything left over, if you find a sealed area leave it be. As always look what you can" my deep rumbling voice slightly cracks from lack of use. Placing my right arm on the armrest of my lay-z boy and a curled-up fist on the right side of my face and closing my eyes taking a short nap in the nice afternoon sun. I chuckle to myself and crack an eye looking over at the titan who tilts his head in confusion. I smile a little "Nothing Just going to take a...CATNAP" a chuckle escapes my lips followed by a full body shake as I hold my stomach.

Opening my eyes back up and wiping my wet eyes I look back over at the titan who is currently palming his hand on his face letting out an exaggerated sigh. "Fuck you, it was funny" I weakly defend myself. He turns his head and just stared at me. I give a weak chuckle and look away. Sighing "Let me know when you cleared the base". Going back to a comfortable position and closing my eyes.

When I finally open my eyes and look around the whole place is cleared out and a mountain of firearms along with their corresponding munitions. Beside the ammo is a pile that looked like light grey play-dough. Giving a mighty yawn with a light shudder that runs down my spine I stand up and walk to the side of my resting elephant and jump down.

Walking around the area I spy a mountain of skulls and bones laying in a ditch to the side of the road. Waving my hand as I pass the different piles of loot storing them in my dimension hoping the place will store them for me if not I will probably just create a sorting mob for easier convenience. The last pile is a small knee-high pile of ID cards along with several different colored cards reaching down and grabbing one of the three different cards. The first is a black card with a white outline reading the top 'Basic access'. The second is a yellow bordered card reading 'level two access'. The last one is a red-boarded card with the top reading 'level three access' across the top of the card. Tossing the white and yellow colored cards to the side and placing the red in my fanny pack.

While waiting for the Zombies to finish clearing the base I reach out to connect to my Angel and get the feeling of smugness being returned as I feel connection after connection appearing every few seconds. Ignoring the newer connections I reach out to the one in the ocean the ever-expanding source of power growing by the second. Reaching out to my connections I estimate I have almost three-fourths of the oceans which is ridiculously fast. Ignoring the incoming connection to the Blue mana. Feeling the increase of Red, Green, and White mana I estimate that she has covered Antarctica, and is over halfway through Russia.

Focusing down deep inside of me I try and find the limit to the amount of mana I can store, but the further I reach down inside of me. After what feels like hours of searching I can not find the end of the available space inside of me. Pulling my mind back outside of my body. Realizing the progress is ongoing for clearing the base. Sending a question to the titan he rumbles back to me with pictures of melted tunnels crossing throughout the top side of the bunker.

After nightfall, the bunker is finally cleared but I get a pull from titan that his Zombies found something interesting inside of the base. Walking through the dark damp blood-splattered hallways I reach a small congregation of Zombies standing around an elevator bank. Walking forward they start parting before me I am glad that the only Zombies here are the armored variant instead of the acid-dripping ones. Looking at the side of the hallway I see a map of the area, upon closer inspection, I see a red dot that says 'You are here looking at the legend of the map I see a marked area 'generator room'. Following the map back to my position I notice that it is only a few corridors down.

Entering the generator room I notice mostly full barrels scattered around the area I look closer to the generator and notice the fuel cap is off of the generator along with a spilled-over barrel of fuel. Humming to myself 'looks like someone was refilling it and was unable to finish. Pulling a little bit of Blue mana I wash away the blood and dried fuel and watch as it goes toward the center of the room down a drain. After cleaning up the area I proceed to rill up the generators around the room. Walking to the wall by the door I look over the switches and find the one to the elevator banks and internal lights.

A whirling sound fills the area as the generators kick on with low vibration. Exiting the room I head back to the elevator banks I look over at the bank and press the down button. Hearing the familiar ding and the whooshing of cool air I enter the elevator I hear it groan under my weight. Looking at the wall I see a list of letters and numbers along the side. Motioning to the Zombies behind me I have them fill up the elevator. Standing in the doorway of the elevator I reach inside the door and swipe the red key card getting a few beeps as the light turns green. Once it does that I press the bottom button and exit the door and wait.

-----POV Change-----

---(Samantha Carter)---

'Meeting after meeting on how fucked we are that is all we do now a days' rubbing my eyes does not help with how tired we all are. Looking over at the speaking Janet Frasier "..th that general we have only basic medicine left for personnel. With that said we don't have anything stronger and Ibuprofen left for our wounded. With the rolling power outages we can't run out more power intensive machines, our last MRI machine fried with the last outage." As she finished she closed her eyes seemingly falling asleep on her feet. Can not say I blame her with us getting an average of four hours of sleep each. "Dr.Fraiser have a seat please" Looking over at tired form of General Hammond.

Giving a nod of thanks we hear a commotion outside of the hallways. All of us turn to see a Private run inside with his gaunt sunk in face. He reaches the room panting on his hands and knees. Standing back up "SIR" he bellowed out "At ease son" Hammond said as he returned the salute. "Sir...something's coming form the elevator" he stumbles out as he regains his breath.

We all freeze looking over at each other "Could it be our friendly neighborhood looters?" Jack grits out. "Possibly Jack, is there a perimeter set up?" I ask to the Private. He nodded his head. "We only have enough mags for three each Sir." Nodding my head we are in motion grabbing our scattered gear I hear Jack calling out "What is the ETA for the elevator?" Out of range of the conversation I quickly Grab and don the scattered gear and grab my standard issue M4 battle rifle.

Following the chaotic flurry of solders we reach the elevator bank and set up in out practiced defensive position. Looking over at the hand that tapped my shoulder seeing Jack "what is the ETA?" He looks down and whispers "We were told five minutes about four ago". Tensing up and facing the elevator door.

One of the longest minutes of my life passed by as the elevator finally lets out a low chime. As the door opens we all tense up as there is no noise, no breathing, no threats. After a few moments some thing steps out of the elevator. Standing at least seven feet tall covered in six inch long spikes on every inch of the bone armor, it looks like it came out of a DnD players wet dream. Looking it up and down I can tell it is doing the same. Six more step out of the elevator noticing they are all carbon copy's of each other.

I can feel Jack behind me preparing to fire I can almost smell the anticipation for murder coming off the unknowns. "....IT WAIT". The tensions are cut as a Haggard and greasy Daniel rushed forward. Looking around and coughing into his hand walking slowly up to them "Hello, Daniel Jackson happy to meet you" He walks forward with his hand extended.

As we wait for some thing to happen we all watch as they walk back to the closing elevator door. They stand on each side of the elevator three to a side. We all stand there confused until ten minutes of silence is broke by a tensing of metallic cables, and overworked gears.

A familiar ding rings out in the hall way as a furry and grips the steel frame bending it slightly as a massive golden white furry leg comes out of the door followed by a similarly large body. Looking at the lion head as it scans the area he looks around. I hear Jack behind me whisper to himself "Is he wearing a fanny pack?" I see he turn to Jack giving a smile with his fanged maw "Why yes it is". His voice vibrates the area packed with power similar to the opening of a worm hole.
