For an extended period of time after the man named Tadriel vanished, only the far off sound of warfare could be heard, muffled by distance. Eudes stared at nothing with considering eyes that made Lucian certain the man was seeing something he could not.
"So he 'has' learned some things..." Eudes mumbled so quietly he barely caught it, and then sighed as he turned to those awaiting his words.
While Eudes Clarke was not a man known by many, those who did were well aware of one thing. His word carried weight lesser only than the King's within Demia, and some might say even greater than that. Whatever he decided would be their next course of action.
Eudes eyed everyone present, stopping briefly on a few like Lucian, before settling on Takis.
"Things have taken a turn for the worse, young Takis. I recommend you aid your brother's men outside and cut a path back to Demia as soon as possible."
