Pilgrimage of Dreams 7

To create a jointed ball dolls, I decide to use a special kind of wood called Aranya wood.

Aranya wood is from the Farren kingdom, it was said to be the blessed wood of the goddess Aranyani. It is heart-pounding expensive.

I request mother to buy for me, she did buy but that is after I sell my face. I don't want to talk about it.

Mother crazily doted on me. Thank you mother, you are the best.

Although I thought her of the best, my mother was well-known as brain dead daughter-con by the outside world for buying me the super expensive but almost useless Aranya wood. I didn't know about that rumor though, like I said, I hardly pay attention to the affairs of the outside world, it was Mina who jokingly inform me.

People pay a lot attention to us huh…

But even with mother financial capability, she can only at most import three Aranya wood from the Farren Kingdom. I have to make sure to not waste any of it. I decide to practice on other woods first while waiting for the import Aranya wood to arrived month later.

By the way, I said almost useless Aranya wood because there is a well founded reason.

The super tough and durable Aranya wood can only be refined by at least ether that is of violet level pureness. Only pure ether can penetrate the wood easily.

Sorcerer with violet level pureness is rare. Even most grand-sorcerer at most has indigo level of pure ether. Violet level pureness is hardly found.

The purer ether is, the stronger and larger the capacity to hold ether is. So, purity in ether is also important.

Ether has seven colors and the pureness is different with each color. The purity of ether goes as this, red being the murkiest follows by orange and then yellow, green, blue, Indigo and violet being the purest among the seven color.

And after violet color? No one knows, because hardly anyone achieved even violet level pureness.

Right now, I also only have red color ether.

I was busy obtaining knowledge and the method of purifying ether was put on hold, but now, purifying my ether is of utmost importance.

According to the list of things to achieve, upgrading my ether was on the first column after all.

Let me actually start going on the path of being powerful now. Hahaha…

Let me finally start with the basic lesson and basic knowledge now.

Ether, I already mention that but the patience and good me will elaborate it.

First and foremost, let me say this, Sorcerer has innate ability to perceive ether.

Moving from the stability of the earth through the flow of water, the passion of fire, the lightness of air we reach the element that makes everything else possible; ether. Ether is both nothing and everything at the same time, it's stillness. Yet, it's the very thing that makes all movement and life possible.

Ether is without the firmness of the earth, the coolness of water, the heat of fire, the movement of wind. It is therefore the essence of emptiness.

I close my eyes and enter the state of meditation.

Sorcerer children learn basic level incantation and purification of ether at their own home until they reach fifteen years of age.

At fifteen years old, they will enter the academy where they will learn the mid and higher level incantation there.

Memorizing all sorts of incantation is not easy, even the most basic level. If I have not modified my sea of consciousness, I will also be stuck at the beginner section of our Ducal library even till now.

Most sorcerer children are guided by adult sorcerer in comprehending incantation and the method of purifying ether.

But my unusual mother just gives me a library key, show me the section where the purifying method of ether was and left me on my own accord. She does say to me that I can seek for guidance to the sorcerers of our Ducal house but I choose to be independent.

I am not worried about adult not guiding me.

In my past life, I hardly listen to the teacher teaching especially math.

When the exams are around the corner, I will laboriously look up to the theorem and see the example the text book offers. Although it was tough, it was my own comprehension and I understand them better, not forgetting for a long time. I am used to self-studying.

So now, about the purifying method. I might have mentioned this before that I have always taken an interest to spirituality, metaphysics, manifestation…

I have come across a certain book in my previous life that talked about spirituality. The chakra and connecting to ether, when I compare it to the purifying method of this world, it has a lot of similarities.

I work hard on combining and excluding the not plausible method, doing a trial and error. Finally, I've completed the perfect purifying method last year.

If I purify my ether, I can finally work on the middle level incantation incantation I recently read and some I learned.

Chakras are divided into seven type; Root chakra, Sacral chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third eye Chakra and Crown Chakra.

Purifying ether means opening the chakras.

In other word, dealing with mental state.

Opening up of chakras should start with step by step starting from the root chakra.

I have erred by touching my crown chakras, ignorantly touching my sea of consciousness. But I know better now.

According to the purifying method of this world, opening chakras seems to be done at random or I might have mistaken, but according to my research, it has to be done step by step.

I took a deep breath…

Close your eyes and tune yourself with your body.

The coolness, heaviness, lightness, movement and stillness, after tuning, focus the space of your body with your surroundings.

Notice the temperature of the air, the sounds you can hear, the light of the room you're in…

Focus on them one by one.

Finally, bring the focus back to oneself.

Discarding all the possible distraction is the first step in opening root chakra.

The root chakra is about knowing who we are. The question starts with 'Who am I?'

Five out of ten will be able to answer that question.

I also have my own answer.

'I am me.

I think therefore, I am.

A sheet of paper,

A personality that I personally handwritten;

The colors of characters I read taint me in my blank sheet of paper,

I study the tainted color, modify and make use of them as I see fit.

I accept, I erase, I change.

I start with nothing and welcome everything;

I seem to have heard a sound. Something that has been clogged seemed to be opened up and removed.

I failed to notice the murky breath that escapes my parted lips as I was concentrating on my meditation.
