Pixel caught up to her sister and the others quickly then jumped on top of the Wani.

Another lighter wave of intimidation was directed towards the Wani which made it stop in place.

Seeing that it had stopped, Pixel revealed a smile and then signalled it to change direction. "Over there. We are leaving the forest."

Felice who did not know what the outcome was had started to ask. "How did you get away? Did you have to do everything on your own like that? What if you got hurt? Why would you do such a thing?"

Pixel rolled her eyes as she explained. "There is no need to worry about those things. Now we should just focus on getting out of here. Older sister.. there is no need to think too much about those things. If you really need an answer then just accept this as me trying to prevent trouble for the family."

Felice's gaze sharpened as she argued. "But everything will fall onto you if there is anything that has gone wrong!"

Felice did not trust that the hyena would simply back down after being pushed back or defeated, instead they would only use more dirty tricks to cause harm to their enemies.

Pixel shrugged and then replied in a calm voice. "I can handle whatever may happen as a result of this."

Felice paused in silence for a while then said. "But the family.."

Pixel interrupted her before she could speak any further. "The family can judge me how they like and so can others outside of the family. I would rather have a bad reputation and bear the consequences instead of living in regret over not taking action."

In her own opinion, the hyena minks or the Glutt family had overstepped the rules many times and caused problems for the family.

Even if they had higher status and power, it was unacceptable that they could remain unpunished and continue to cause harm to her family.

Although Pixel did not have a close relationship with her siblings and other family members, they still all carried her own bloodline and connections to her.

The actions that Pixel had taken against them was minimal and could still put her at risk later but she did not wish to regret seeing further harm being inflicted into her own bloodline.

Even if most others looked at her with mistrust or malice within the family, Pixel was willing to shoulder it for the family since it was her decision and she could handle the consequences.

The rest of the time was spent in silence as the sisters stopped talking and the Wani walked out from the forest which was greeted by several adult Minks which were on alert.

"Get ready!"

"Incoming!"

They were prepared to attack but then they spotted the children on its back so they halted in surprise.

"Stop stop stop!"

"It is tamed.. what a relief."

Rufus who was with the other nobles was discussing some matters which involved the safety of Zou and other things but he stopped to look over and caught sight of Felice and Pixel on top of the Wani. "Please excuse me for a moment."

As he was leaving, there were several nobles which looked over in surprise and praised. "Wow.. did they actually tame a Wani that big at such a young age? Who are those kids? They have potential."

"They are the two eldest daughters of the Meridian family along with the eldest daughter's supporters."

"Hmm.. then we should keep an eye on them in the future. The Meridian families future seems bright."

"Yes.. not too long ago, another child of their family returned with that famous child."

While there were many who were gossiping about the Meridian family and speculating over different things which had happened, there were a couple which had a look of envy in their eyes.

"But I thought that my daughter would be a good match for him..sigh."

"Your daughter? Pfft! I heard that she does nothing but make trouble for you. No wonder you want to push her off onto someone else so soon. If there was someone suitable then it would be my own but she is much too lovable for me to let go of so soon."

"Daughter slave."

"Fool."

While they were arguing and discussing things among themselves, Rufus came near Pixel and Felice who were helping the others get down from the Wani. "This is not a normal Wani is it? How did you subdue the king of the swamp?"

He had good enough eyes to be able to determine the difference between the strength of different animals so he could see that the Wani could only be the king of the swamp which ruled over the other Wani that lived there.

Only the king of the swamp was so big and was rumoured to be difficult to approach or harm because it remained within the swamp or behind the protection of its followers.

Nobody had been able to get close enough to it because it was too dangerous to recklessly attack when they could be pulled underneath the swamp and drowned or would have to face a beast wave.

Pixel looked down and answered. "Grandfather, I have subdued it but you do not have to worry about the others coming for revenge. They will be obedient and remain where they are in the future. If they do not then I will make a trip and subdue them."

Rufus looked up in shock. "You mean that you did this alone?"

When he saw Pixel nod her head, he looked over towards Felice for confirmation. "Is this true?"

Felice nodded and explained. "When Pixel arrived and met up with me, she already had it with her but there is something which we need to tell you grandfather."

Rufus looked very serious as he heard the tone of worry in Felice's voice so he motioned them to follow. "You two, come with me for now."

They bother answered and followed behind right away after jumping down from the Wani which had been handled by the adults of the family to bring back to Pixel's home grounds. "Yes grandfather!" X2
