Cats species, from big cats such as tigers, lions to small cats such as the Lynx, have always been at the top of the food chain in their lands. Even domestic cats that have adored by countless people reside at the top as well.

The disorderly breeding of stray cats is often referred to as ecological disasters because they can indiscriminately hunt all small animals that they can prey on, even if they are not hungry.

Cats raised at home will also bring small gifts such as dead mice, dead cockroaches, and dead geckos to the master.

Cats in a free-range state, when bored, may engage in catching butterflies. That is not a rare thing, but in general, butterflies are small and potentially poisonous bugs that are generally not in their hunting options.

Butterflies are usually not toxic, but if they feed on toxic flowers, they are likely also contaminated with the same toxin.
