Two months after Princess Fei Shu arrived in the palace, the king made her Head Consort. This made the Queen and the other consorts angry. Consort She Soya, whose father was the Minister of Finance decided to pay the Queen a visit.

She ordered her maids to prepare ornaments and silk which she collected from her father.

When she got to the Queen's chamber, she heard her shouting at her maids. She Soya smiled, she knew if she triggered the Queen's emotions, she would be able to plan against Princess Fei Shu. And maybe titled Head Consort.

With this thought in mind, she asked the Queen's maid to announce her presence. "Your Majesty, Consort She Soya is here to see you." Inside the Queen who was holding a whip, threw it aside and the maids in front of her cleared the floor.

Even though she was not happy with the way the king interfered with the Internal affairs of the palace, she couldn't look bad in front of a common consort.

The maid who announced She Soya's presence earlier was confused, so she decided to announce her again.

But before she could talk, the Queen's personal attendant said she should let her in.

She Soya couldn't be happier, she entered with a simple smile. The Queen couldn't be less irritated by the smile. She was already annoyed that the King had a lot of consorts but then he even made a new consort the head.

"Your Majesty" She Soya bowed. "I present to you the finest jade and silk of this nation.

She Soya's attendants as if on cue placed the boxes holding the gifts on the table.

The Queen's mood lifted when she saw the content of the boxes. She gestured for She Soya to sit while admiring a jade hairpin.

She Soya sat down with grace and grandeur. The Queen then turned to her " Why are you here?". She Soya looked at the Queen and decided to go slowly with her plan.

'Take it slow, She Soya'. She then smiled at the Queen and said "I have only decided to honour Your Majesty." The Queen raised her brow at this and asked "I do not understand you, Consort She Soya". She Soya bit the insides of her left cheek until she felt blood in her mouth.

Then She Soya remembered it was the Queen's birthday in two weeks she bit her cheek one more time. 'I will make you pay for this Fei Shu'. She looked up and smiled at the Queen. The look the Queen gave her made her know the Queen thought she wanted to get on her good side alone.

She swallowed the blood in her mouth begrudgingly. She sure was going to take a lot of tea. " Your Majesty, your birthday. I am giving you this as a birthday gift". This made the Queen hate Fei Shu more - if a simple consort could remember her birthday and give her jade and silk what about her who was the Head of the consorts.

She Soya saw this and quickly added fuel to the fire. "Your Majesty, Head Consort Fei Shu has been busy attending to other matters". This infuriated the Queen even more. She obviously knew the other matters She Soya was talking about.

Ever since the King started gracing Fei Shu, he was ignoring her more. She clenched her fist in annoyance. She Soya smiled in satisfaction. Soon, she will have the Queen go crazy and eliminate Fei Shu!
