Dream

A small cute girl who is wearing a white long dress is walking around the green hillside. Her little innocent face is a sight to look at. Because she is too pretty on her white dress and the awful aura demand the attention without even trying much.

It seems she is too happy and peaceful though she is all alone in this grassy hillside. Because no one is around to protect her. There is a small flower basket on her left hand which is full of flowers of many kinds like Violets, Daylillies, Roses and Spring bulbs while her left hand is holding the long white dress.

It seems she has no care about the world as she is on her own enjoying this scenic beauty and the nature. But suddenly a dark fog started to appear few feet away behind her. If somebody can tell her what is happening, she can escape from that...whatever it is...But no one seems to walk on that secluded area to warn the little girl not to get lost in this dark fog and run to her home, her family. So still she doesn't know that an abnormal dark fog is rising behind her.

But suddenly she stops and look ahead of her and she got scared if something. Because it's already written on her face as she is able to see only darkness. The nice green pasture which was full of flowers were no where to be found and this little girl started struggle to find her way home by slowly keeping baby steps , one at a time. But suddenly something ugly and unpleasant thing like a hand with six fingers with long and sharp nails which was covered with blood came to the surface of the earth slowly.

Like a small creature, it started to crawl towards the little child. But unfortunately she was scared about the dark fog which has surrounded her and she doesn't even know that this ugly hand like creature is slowly crawling towards her...It is coming after her...Somebody has to warn her...Please...

"Ahhhhhh..no.. no!! please don't hurt her.. "

I woke up to my own voice by jumping out of my skin. I can't believe that I am seeing this horrible dream for the 5th time since I have been here. Actually why am I seeing this horrible dream continuously? May be it's because I am too lonely in this apartment without any friend so far.

I have a very bad feeling about this dream though it was just my mind who plays tricks. However today I have planned to visit the nearest shops in this area to find a place for me to work. Because if I stay inside this little apartment for more days, definitely I will have to die with starvation or become a beggar on the street not being able to pay the rent of the apartment.

So I quickly jumped out of the small bed and wiped the sweat on my forehead and upper lip with the back of my hand and straight away went to the bathroom to freshen up myself before I go out for the job hunting today.

When I was in the orphanage my care taker always told that we have to be neat and tidy all the time no matter wherever we are and taught us to wear clean clothes and comb our hair neatly.

Though she taught these habits when we were small, still it has become a habit of mine to wear everything in the proper order.

So I decided to take a small bath in my not so big bathroom and wore the best dress I own so far, white summer dress with black polka dots all over it. And then I combed my dark brown hair and tie upper part with a white hair band to the back as a half ponytail. After that when I looked at the mirror, I felt presentable. As a final touch I applied some lip gloss on my lips.

Honestly I am not a big fan of cosmetics as I never had or wanted a box of cosmetics full of lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner or any other stuff. Because always I wanted to have a box of paint for my birthdays or on the Christmas day as I loved to colour a lot. Still I have a huge book with so many pictures I have drew in my spare times.

However for the first time in my life I applied a small amount of lip gloss I got as a partying gift from one of the girls of my orphanage. Actually I had a bunch of pretty good friends there. It doesn't mean that we didn't fight with each other or cry for the attention from the adults who visited the orphanage and the ladies who took care of us. But still our relationship was ok I guess. Because I still miss all of them so badly as I live all alone in this tiny apartment for two weeks now. Honestly now I can understand the feeling of living alone very well.

After getting ready I took the one and only pink hand bag I owned and wore my flat black ankle boots. After locking the door to my apartment , I decided to explore the streets around me to have a better understanding about my surroundings more and find a decent job which pays me a decent salary to survive as soon as possible.

There was a ice cream shop near the other side of my apartment and I decided to buy an ice cream as I didn't eat anything in the morning. Though I planned to eat something like a sandwich in the morning, the dream I saw changed my plan as I was distracted because of it. Truly it made me nervous like a bad omen is on the way.

Because of that, now I have to satisfy myself with just an ice cream till I reach home or I can say my rented apartment actually. However I am thankful to God and happy that at least I can eat an ice cream for my hungry stomach this morning. Because there are many people who haven't seen the light of the day like due to the huge revolution that has taken over with the vampires. So I am really grateful for this delicious ice cream, though it's something light.

"Watch out where you are going little girl."

My trance was broken by a loud voice of a man. Oh no! I really mistook...Yes...That's not a man like the man = human being as I thought. It was really a vampire guard of the royal palace if I am not mistaken as I have read many books about royal vampire family and the whole vampire clan and as well as humans before I came here. However I might have mistakenly bumped into him while walking on the pavement by day dreaming about that delicious ice cream I am tasting and the other thoughts.

"I am really sorry..."

I quickly turned back and shouted so that he can hear as I didn't want a blood sucking vampire to hold a grudge against me. Yes...it's truly unhealthy for my existence. Because I knew about the super powers they possessed in many ways as they are non humans like us. So I knew he could even hear the whisper I make as they have gotten the benefit of super sensitive hearing. Just as to proof my judgement he waved up his hand. Oh...thank God I think I am safe for the time being.

Phew... Thank God he didn't turn back to punish me or drag me to a dark place for my mistake. He quickly disappeared from the other corner of the street.

Then again, I started walking...actually very carefullu this time...towards a quite fancy restaurant as it's door hold a notice of new worker recruitment. I slowly open the door to the restaurant and decided to meet the manager of this place and ask whether I can get a chance to be an employee here. But before I get the chance to meet the manager, it seems that fate had other plans for myself today.

Honestly when I went inside the restaurant I was enchanted by the beauty of it. Because I had never seen such a clean place with a sweet food aroma in my life. It doesn't mean that I haven't seen neat and tidy places before. Because there was a big house on the other side of our orphanage. There lived a old lady with her husband and they used to bring delicious muffins for the kids in the orphanage. But this place is actually screamed luxury without a doubt.I think I fell in love with the restaurant all at once with my first glance. But I suddenly realised that I am drooling and daydreaming again, I started walking towards the receptionist to inquire details about the notice of new employee recruitment they had pasted on their notice board.

Sofia... pull yourself together and act like a human than gaping at the place drooling like a dog!

So I hurried my steps to the receptionist I can see on the other corner. But instead of keeping the head ahead, I just gave my total focus to the zipper of my bag. Actually I just wanted to open it and take out the bio data I have prepared. But it is a mistake from my side.

"Finally Gotcha..."

I think my voice died down the same instant it came out. Because everything happened so fast and I didn't even get a time to think. The file I was holding flew out of my hand and I lost my balance as a sudden hit of a brick wall!! I closed my eyes instantly with this sudden impact of the unexpected incident I faced not understanding what's happening as everything came off so fast. But I am very sure that the way was clear as there was only a less crowd there. So hold on a second! There is no way I can reach an actual wall instantly like this.

Actually it's really a little comfy wall like a sponge...and it's too cold...omg!! What happened? Where am I? When did the wall became black? There were only a few feet towards the receptionist...When did they build a wall or keep a chair or table in an instant? Am I hallucinating or is this another trick of my mind?May be the after effects of the morning dream, right?

Hello... is anybody there? Sofia.. Are you going crazy? I thoroughly believe I am not. No way! right? So instantly I just came down to the earth and opened my eyes to find the cause of my sudden shock. But...I think I lost my whole self in that instant as soon as I opened my eyes...Do you guys believe that Sofia got lost her self for the first time in her 20 years of life...Of course I did!!I lost my mind may be for 2 seconds,5 seconds,10 seconds,15,20,25,30 oh no...no.. may be 60 seconds...I think I even forgot what I was going to do in the first place. Yep, Oh dear lord have mercy on me!!

Because as soon as I opened my eyes, I met with the most mesmerising, fascinated eyes I have ever seen in my whole life...dark green emerald eyes were the first but not the least reason that my jaw dropped suddenly.

You pervert!!When did you become such a drooling kitten hmm? But he is too....along with those eyes, dark raven black hair, sexy inviting lips, long pointed nose and the straight line in between his eyebrows to show his concentration on me ,captured my soul all at once. His appearance just reminded me an aristocrat as the way he dressed with the expensive black jacket, grey T-shirt underneath and black pants with white Dolce and Gabbana sneakers. But there is only one kind who has such a perfect beauty as far I know. Mmmm impressive! So Sofia... don't even go there. You know what kind of monsters they are. Therefore don't let your first crush to be a blood sucking vampire girl. Even though they all have dressed nicely, underneath they are monsters who came to destroy our humanity.

Though I thought so, you know, I....I will faint sooner or later for sure. He was just looking at me like he just wanted to see through my soul...and his eyes are so bright and I have a feeling that he looks at me like he has found a favourite meal and thinking how to devour it. Because the curiosity and the amusement was already written on that handsome face. But I have a feeling that I might have mistaken something for sure. Yes...if not why a vampire like him staring at me in such a way? It seems today there is something wrong with me... I am just a helpless orphan human who have only 60 dollars. I am just looking for a decent job to get rid of starvation and expecting to spend cozy life in the rented apartment few more months.

No way! But do you think that he might have smelled my blood? Is that the reason he is looking at me like that? Oh no!

But how can it be? I am protected by the vampire bracelet, aren't I? Sofia Charmeine I think you are DOOMED...YES...DOOMED!!!Sofia pull yourself together or you'll better die of embarrassment now. Yes, it seems he is trying to play mind games with me. Don't let him play you girl...wake up!

I think my brain is shouting too loud already. But I remained in the same position as I was captured by his trance and the two big hands of him that kept me in place close to his body...Actually who is he and what is he trying to do?
