The Goblin Forest of Saanthirs

When both girls finally crossed the dungeon gate they found themselves in an unfamiliar forest. The grass was tall, and the trees huge, with trunks big enough that you couldn't surround them with your arms. This was a place taken by nature, claimed by an unruly force that defies the order imposed by society, a place of dire danger. 

"What is this place?" Asked Fuwa. 

"I have no idea but it ain't bad" Said Raven relieved, she didn't want to go back to the swamp ever again "Don't let your guard down"

The silence of the forest tho was abnormal, no birds, no small animals, and they weren't alone in this place, Raven could tell, her senses told her somebody was watching them.

"Fuwa take the lead, I got your back" said Raven taking the handle of her dagger, the envenomed dagger awaited eagerly to pierce the neck of any enemy they come across. 

Fuwa closed her eyes and gave some small jumps, she was letting her body relax as she also moved her hands, the bandit watched her with curiosity but said nothing, and the look of Fuwa changed to a sharp one. 

Soon they began to advance, the sun above them was almost covered completely by the foliage of the forest, even so, the place was hot and humid, it was surprising this place was a forest and not a jungle... soon some sweat began to appear in the faces of both girls as they made their way through the treacherous nature. 

'In anime goblins were those rapist little shits' Thought Fuwa as she looked around worried about the name of the place.

For Raven this was an unknown place, she knew what a goblin was, she hadn't encountered many in the outside world, but as a bandit, she had her few skirmishes against those creatures, green, small, just the size of a kid, but with the sexual appetite of a wicked adult, those monsters were weak but always formed groups to hunt down their prey. What she didn't like was that this was literally a forest, there wasn't a clear path ahead, and she never liked forests that much, places like his always harbored dangerous monsters and people. 

While they were passing through, one of the trees near them suddenly moved, using painting a goblin was camouflaged as part of the tree bark and jumped at Fuwa, the beast almost naked, only covered by loincloth screamed while jumping to grab the passing girl. Still, the girl reaction was swift throwing a devastating punch at the creature's face, the sound of bone shattering was disgusting and the beast fell a couple of meters away, spasming, before it stopped moving. 

Both Raven and Fuwa moved closer to inspect the enemy. 

"Ewww disgusting, it's like an old man in the body of a kid" Said Fuwa. 

"Disgusting little shit!" Said Raven kicking the head of the monster that had attacked them. 

Goblin's after all, were the enemy of women. 

"Well it begins" Said Raven once again. 

As if summoned by her words, another goblin leaped from the dense foliage. This time, it aimed straight for Raven's back. But before it could land, Fuwa was already in motion. With a quick step and a smooth turn, she intercepted the goblin mid-air, her palm shooting out in a precise strike to its chest. The creature gasped, its ribs cracking under the force of the blow as it was sent flying into a nearby tree, which was shaken by the force of the impact. 

Raven spun around, dagger at the ready, only to see the goblin crumple at the base of the tree, lifeless. She let out a low whistle "Remind me never to piss you off"

The forest around them began to stir, a low rustling building into a chaotic symphony of movement. Goblins emerged from the underbrush, their grotesque, grinning faces illuminated by the dappled sunlight breaking through the canopy. There were at least ten, their beady eyes fixed on the two girls, hungrily anticipating their next move.

"Looks like we've got company" Raven said, her voice tense but tinged with excitement. She gripped her envenomed dagger tightly, her body lowering into a more feral stance, ready to pounce. "You take the left; I'll cover the right" Then she raised her free hand "『Aqua Shield』!" 

Both of them got involved in the aquatic bubble just in time, as it stopped some burd arrows thrown at them and rocks shot by primitive slingshots.

The announcement in their heads was being spammed, and the creatures talked in mocking tones, they cared not about their dead companions, in their primitive minds that was not important, the only thing that mattered was the two girls in front of them and who would enjoy them first. 10 confirmed enemies. 

Fuwa's eyes narrowed as the goblins continued to flood out of the underbrush, their mocking laughter and wild grins making her stomach turn. Her body shifted naturally into her fighting stance, one foot planted firmly ahead of the other, hands raised in front of her like a fortress, not in front of her face, but covering her central point. 

"Let's wipe the floor with these creeps" Fuwa said, her voice calm and measured, but laced with the underlying intensity of someone ready for battle.

Raven gave a sharp nod, her tail flicking behind her as she prepared herself. The Aqua Shield shimmered around them like a translucent, protective bubble, and for a moment, there was silence... a tense, electric pause before the storm hit.

The first goblin, eager and overconfident, charged straight at Fuwa. He barely had time to raise his crude club before Fuwa stepped in close, her movements fluid and graceful. With a quick sidestep, she redirected his momentum, trapping his wrist with one hand and striking upward with the heel of her palm. The goblin's head snapped back violently, his teeth clattering together as he staggered, dazed.

Without wasting a second, Fuwa twisted his arm and used the goblin's body as a shield against the incoming onslaught of arrows and slingshots. The creature howled as it was pelted with rocks, and in one swift motion, Fuwa shoved him into two other charging goblins, sending them tumbling into a heap of tangled limbs.

"Three down" Fuwa muttered, her eyes darting to the next closest target.

Meanwhile, Raven had already sprung into action on the right flank. She darted toward a trio of goblins, her body low to the ground, moving like a shadow. One of the goblins lunged at her with a rusty dagger, but Raven was faster. With a swift, elegant twirl, she avoided the strike and plunged her hydra dagger into the goblin's neck. The creature gurgled, its eyes wide in shock, before collapsing to the ground, as an overkill the effect of the dagger spread, its veins becoming dark as it lost blood really fast.

Raven kicked the lifeless body aside just in time to see another goblin leaping at her from behind. Her ears twitched in warning, and she spun, slashing upward. The blade sliced clean through the goblin's belly, spilling its guts onto the forest floor "Pathetic" Raven growled.

The other Goblin retreated fast toward the rest of the group, using the cover of arrows and stones who were deflected by the shield. Raven looked at Fuwa, the girl was punching really fast into a goblin that had fallen to the ground, the goblin made a sound of someone who had been beaten to a pulp, probably all his internal organs were mushed like a pulp.

The four remaining enemies ran away, Fuwa was ready to pursue but Raven stopped her. 

"Calm down" Said the girl smiling smugly "No need to rush, now we know the right direction, now, we follow them, find their nest, and finish them off in one go" Her eyes glimmered with a mix of amusement and cunning as her tail flicked behind her.

"Aaayeeeee!~" Said Fuwa once again cheerfully and smiling.
