Chapter 7:- Revelations

Mc's Pov:-

"What did you say?", I asked, Dahlia Ansaldo, that was my mother's name, and this unknown lady, had just taken her name, 'does she know my mother, is she a friend or an enemy'?

Ignoring me, while lifting the bottle of wine and fixing herself another glass, but since i was already on the verge of loosing my patience, "I would really appreciate it, if you can answer my question, miss", i asked in a tone with barely restrained anger, which was hard, considering my inner emotional turmoil.

Now normally i don't loose my cool like that, but i have been trying to gather information regarding my parents for years now, and now this random woman comes in front of me, calling my mother by her name, i just wasn't ready for it.

"Hmmm, tell me, is it finding about your parent's wellbeing no matter the cost, more important to you or is it fulfilling your inner pride's needs and let the only chance you have had in all these years to get answers, slip away, by letting anger dictate your actions?" The woman asked while leaning forward.

And just like that all my anger vanished like pouring ice water on yourself on a hot summer day. It was like her voice had some sort of magical effect on me, making me calm instantly, which might just be the reason for it , given she is most likely someone very powerful.

"My apologies for behaving so uncouth in front of you my lady, i don't think i have had the honor of meeting you before, may i enquire about the identity of my esteemed guest?" i asked now in a composed tone, and finally taking the chance to observe her properly and had to say she really was very beautiful, almost otherworldly.

With long platinum blond hair and golden eyes, a perfect face and a voluptuous body that screamed seduction, coupled with her quite confident and seductive expression and you get a woman who defines the word irresistible.(image)

"Its ok, as long as you understand it. And as for my name, I am Freya, goddess of magic, beauty, love and fertility." she replied while leaning backwards and putting her leg on top of the other while also giving me the same smile she has been giving me since the moment i saw her.

Freya, the Norse goddess, mostly known for her divinities of magic and beauty, as far as i know she wasn't shown in the anime series of this world, it just shows that their are many things about this world that haven't been shown in the anime or manga. But what is her connection with my mother? Why was she here?

One thing i am certain about, is she wasn't here to harm me, as she could have done that the moment she came here, also how did i not sense her, even when she was sitting so close to me? As i have had my Observational Haki active all the time for any emergency scenarios like this one, and also to get used to the phenomena of getting extremely detailed information of my surroundings in my brain, so the question is, does haki is unable to sense divine beings or is my level insufficient?, but this can be pondered upon later

"It is an honor to be in your presence lady freya, may i ask what brings you to my humble aboard?" i asked continuing my line questions, as i wanted to see how much could i toe the line before she starts getting annoyed, even though every question i have are something anyone in my position should have the right to know, but what can i say, Gods are an eccentric bunch.

"Just for good wine and food?, am i not allowed to enjoy the simple pleasures of live, as you mortals often say?" freya, tilting her head and lowering her eyes towards the wine glass in her hand, swirling it and licking her lips.

 Seeing the sight in front of me, i couldn't help but take a deep breath again, to calm my blood from running south, she really deserved the divinity of beauty , because damn it was hard to take my eyes from her.

"While i pride myself in my culinary talents, i don't think i have had the pleasure yet to serve you, and i don't think a goddess like you have the time to go to random newly opened restaurants to try food." i replied, not wanting to stare as to not be rude.

Seemingly noticing me staring ," Now you are acting more like someone your age should" she said giggling lightly.

Not one to back down, "Well, one doesn't have to be my age to get lost in your beauty, my lady" i replied, getting my supposed 'game' face on.

Shaking her head in amusement, "Well its true we don't go to every random restaurant to try food, you are wrong about one thing, for immortal beings like me, the only thing we have plenty of is time."

Nodding at her in acceptance, "I have had some people keep an eye on you just in case if you were in mortal danger" freya continued 

"That shouldn't be possible, as i would have sensed something, and for what reason would you do that?" i asked , but was quickly cut off, "I was getting to that, said freya finishing yet another glass of wine.

"Never underestimate divine means little jax, you don't know what's possible. While its true you would have sensed them if they came near you, there are two holes in your theory." said freya while filling another glass full of wine.

"The first is that you didn't always had the senses you have now, something changed in you , probably the awakening of your magical eye, by the way can you please turn it off, the novelty of it has weared off now" she said while once again sipping at her wine.

Realizing that she was talking about my Sharingan which were active right now, which was strange considering i hadn't realized when had i activated them, also noticing the vision improved considerably, but deactivating it all the same and keeping it for later, as i was more concentrated on the being in front of me.

"mhmm, much better , as for the second reason, i had ordered my people to only watch from afar and only interfere if the situation became truly dire, since their wasn't any danger to you in all these years and also given the fact you had awakened your eyes, their was no reason for them to appear in front of you" she said while moving to refill her now once again empty glass, but finding the bottly empty and pouting adorably.

"Than why now, why make an appearance now, and you still haven't told me the reason for doing all of this?" i asked, while moving towards the cabinet to fetch another bottle of wine for her.

Getting a sparkle in her eyes at the sight of another bottle in my hands, " Well because before today, you didn't get in contact with any of the supernatural faction, and also because you arrived in kuoh town, so i thought no time better than now" she said, while refilling her glass again looking like a child who got her favorite toy.

"That was another thing i didn't understand, how did you find out that i was in kuoh town, this barely my third day here, and beside Robert , my butler, i hadn't told anyone about me coming here, so only if your people were following my plane, while flying and at the same time maintaining enough distance to be out of the range of my senses, i don't know how did you found out.

"well its true i didn't knew about it before, but someone informed me about your whereabouts as soon as you arrived here" freya shrugged, "And before you ask, it was odin who told me".

Hearing Odin's name made me feel a chill up my spine, as i don't know what could possibly make the All father pay attention towards me, considering i haven't done anything over the top as of now to get under the attention of someone like him.

"But the question of how did he find out still stands, also why was he watching me?" i asked a little more tense than before , as no matter how was he depicted in the anime, you can't ignore that he is a war deity first and foremost. Eliminating threats and gathering information are the foundation upon which war stands.

"Obviously because of your aura, you have special aura, different from most beings, and their is a reason for it" She said, now in a sombre tone, gone was her playful expression that she had shown me till now.

"Your family, they were also bestowed with something by the biblical one, just like the pendragons got that sword excaliber"

 "what???"

A/N:- I am back sorry for the delay, as i fell sick after returning home after traveling. At this point i feel like its a universal law or something that one will fell sick at home when they return from travelling. Does anyone not get sick?

Anyway, a slightly shorter chapter, as the things revealed in this chapter are a lot and i had to divide it in two chapters, and since i wanted to post something today, here it is. Don't worry next one will be pretty early, i might post later today or tomorrow at the earliest.
