Problem on the 6th floor II

After reading the context on the blue elevated screen. Suddenly, Kai bit the bottom of his lips, upset how the gaming interface involved a little girl like her.

'Are you f*cking kidding me? This is not right! You're involving a little girl that hadn't had a thing to do with me.' He uttered his mind, feeling his blood dripping on the corner of his mouth.

"What's the matter, brother Kai? Did I say or do something wrong?" She asked him as she was certain this man was mad for some reason.

He shook his head and looked at her with his serious eyes. "Amelia, you should listen to me. We are going to leave this right now, okay? In exchange, I'll give you extra 500 gold coins and the opportunity to come with me on my expedition." He said in a worried tone, observing if there were any changes within the surroundings.

"I don't know what happened to you, brother Kai. But, I'll agree with it as it looked like something came up." Amelia responded to him in a low tone, noticing Kai was starting to act strange.

'Inventory'

Kai opened up again the inventory, then took Amelia's bag, removing all the things that could slow them down from leaving the place. After that, he carried her and dashed toward the 5th floor.

In his mind, the quest was focused on defeating the unknown monster on the 6th floor, which means if Amelia succeeded in leaving the tower, there's a high she will not get involved with this quest.

'This is bullshit... I never something like this would come.' Kai was talking to himself, feeling the breeze touching his face as he was running on the 6th floor in the fastest way he could.

"Brother Kai, there's something wrong here? You can ask me if you need information." She suggested, confident that she can answer some of her questions because they were the information she heard from the other adventurers.

He shook his head with furious eyes, focusing on his main goal right which was to save Amelia's life from being killed.

Swoosh!

Thud! Thud! Thud!

After 10 minutes of continuous running, he reached the middle part of the 6th floor. However, he suddenly stopped in his swift face as he perceived numerous monsters stomping on the ground and seemed to head to their current location.

The ground was tremendously shaking it looked like the surface going to destroy at any moment. On top of that, the footsteps sound was getting stronger and stronger as they were obtaining a closer distance to them.

He looked left and right, aware that the numerous monsters were coming on each side. 'This is bad we are already surrounded and I can bring down Amelia just to fight the monsters. With their huge numbers, it's impossible for me to block all their attacks.'

Kai was gritting his teeth, wondering if he have to take the last option which was entering the middle path on the 6th floor. To put it simply, his current position was now separated into three paths, which were left, right, and long middle paths.

'There's no other option here, I have brought somewhere safe.' He took a glance at the little girl he was carrying, discovering Amelia started to have a trembling body as she was aware of their current situation.

"Brother Kai, what we are going to do? I'm hearing over one hundred monsters charging toward us..." She said in a low tone, pondering why there were marching monsters on this floor.

Yes, she admitted that she was afraid, but not because of the possibility she can die here, it was because she was afraid to leave her siblings alone again in a place where no one in this society could accept them.

"Please, brother Kai... D-Do something about this, b-because my sibling still need me!" She yelled and her tears dripped on her cheeks.

Pat... Pat...

While taking the middle path, Kai was gently patting her head, helping her to calm down as this was time that they must tough. "You don't have to be worried, Amelia." Kai smiled at her, showing that he was not afraid of this incident.

Soon, a hundred goblins were aggressively chasing them in the middle path, then throwing their knives at them to inflict some damage. Luckily, none of them was able to land a single hit.

"I have to increase my speed and hide in the place where those goblins could not find us!" He said inwardly.

After running for nearly 10 minutes on the middle path, it was inevitable for him to enter the different tunnel that led to a new location. Yet, the monsters were still chasing him, didn't care even their backs were stabbed by the other goblins.

Swoosh!

At this juncture, he was forced to use all the skills related to his speed. [Panther walk], [Dash], and [Thorn Dash] skills just to make a large distance against the monsters.

When he made a one-meter distance against the monsters, Kai was starting behind the thick spiky rock formation. By this, he can rest and analyze the best thing he could do in this situation.

He was covering Amelia's mouth, controlling her breathing so those goblins can't easily locate their exact location. Their march lasted for another 15 minutes, heading to the spot where they thought that the human being.

He leaned his back on the wall, then sighed deeply. "Are you okay, Amelia?" He checked her condition.

"I-I'm good, brother Kai, don't worry about me." She replied in a weak tone, at the same time, she was avoiding making unnecessary noise which could be the main reason why the monsters found their location.

He was looking at the surroundings, feeling the atmosphere become heavier. Around them was the other rock formation, multiple paths that gave him a hard time finding out which among the paths he took to reach this location.

"We are now in the good condition, Amelia." He said before adding these words. "By any chance, Amelia, are you familiar with this place?"

She shook her head at him as if she never had been in this place. However, she had information about this area. "I think, brother Kai, we are accidentally reached the monster's domain. Where we can find hundred or thousand of monsters."
