Crosses Fate

Azamone, the practitioner middle-aged man who helped him to escape the Adventurer's Headquarters before the scouts chased him. He explained the D+ rank he obtained at a young age was impressive, so more likely the guild's scouts would have been interested in him since they knew that a young man can probably increase his rank from A+ up to S rank adventurer in the near future.

"Oi, look who's here. Are you chasing your death, isn't it?" It was David, that threw his cigarette after seeing him and squeezed it with his foot.

It seemed like after he felt mild tension from the words Kai spit earlier, David took a cigarette to calm himself.

Kai sighed along with an irritated expression on his face, wondering why, with the thousands of creatures that lived in this city, this rude man was the only one he could see.

Kai went in a different direction, planning to get back to Alexa's house first, and told her what exactly happened in his Adventurer's evaluation. By doing this, he knew Alexa would explain it to him in a way that he can easily understand.

And all of a sudden, he came to a halt after David jumped in front of him. David was gritting his teeth and furiously looking at Kai, it appeared he felt insulted as Kai wasn't paying too much attention to him.

Kai charged at him before gently tapping David's shoulders. "I know you're still upset because of what happened inside, but I already explained it, and I don't have enough time right now, so let's fix it another day," he murmured.

David was blinking his eyes in surprise, didn't anticipate that the young man had high extraordinary speed. Because of what he has done, David didn't control his emotion and reach his limits.

On the right side was the Adventure's headquarters and on the left side were the seven meters walls, which means the only way to leave this place was to go to the back gate.

Kai opened up his eyes and noticed the beautiful woman positioned at David's side. She had blonded brown hair, red eyes, 172 cm in height, wearing a blue mini skirt and not revealing shirt, but you could see the figure of her body so Kai can tell she was also sexy. Apart from that, her face had a big similarity to a Latina.

David took back his weapon, then bowed his head at him. "Good day, adventurer Carmen! What is someone like you doing in this place?" He approached her politely, knowing this woman was the type of adventurer he should not bump.
