Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

Gun had been assigned with the sole purpose of delaying Yuji's allies as much as possible, so that Charles could have an uninterrupted conversation.

But Gun couldn't help feeling offended, after all, he himself had been hoping for a rematch against the boy, since in his eyes, no one else would be able to give him a fight that would make his blood boil.

And waiting tediously in the trees, he kept his arms crossed as he awaited the arrival of any opponent.

Goo was somewhere else, waiting to face his next opponent. Initially, Goo clearly intended to abandon Charles, but with enough money and guile, he was persuaded otherwise, bringing in some of his "secret friends" to help in the fight.

But Gun could clearly see that at the slightest sign of defeat, Goo would give up. He didn't blame him, but he wouldn't hesitate to hunt him down after all this.

Even if Yuji was a monster, he still wasn't immortal. Facing so many opponents would tire him out, and it would only be a matter of time before he fell.

With DG by their side, however strange it was for Gun, they had great confidence in victory.

"..."

Unfortunately, Gun was completely disregarding the level of Yuji's allies, after all, he believed that the boy had as his main allies only the White Tigers and the rest of the groups he had defeated in the past.

He was unaware of the presence of any other powerful figures who might be at the boy's side.

!

"I guess that idiot wasn't lying when he said there was a deserter in this place."

And unfortunately, Gun had found himself with the worst possible ally at that moment.

"I hope you can amuse me, asshole!"

Emerging from the trees, a smiling Raian caused Gun to narrow his eyes in alarm, the pressure the new figure emitted making him recoil.

'What's that?' Raising his hand to the front of his face, Gun noticed his fingers trembling, a toothy grin opening on his lips as he understood the implication. 'This guy, he's too dangerous.'

"What?" Raian laughed at his target's reaction, his fingers snapping as he tightened them in anticipation of combat. "Have I scared you enough? What are you? A little girl?"

"You look strong..." Ignoring Kure's words, Gun declared with a serious look, his fingers clenching into fists as he let his smile widen even further, something that made even Raian raise an eyebrow in surprise. "It'll be enough to entertain me!"

With a vein popping out on his forehead, Raian returned his own animalistic grin, his aura exploding wildly as his muscles stiffened so that they became even more apparent on his body. "You worm! You think too much of yourself, don't you?"

Stepping forward, Raian didn't even bother to set up a stance, while Gun immediately took his usual karate stance.

"Let's see if you can keep up that confidence when I break you in half!"

.

In all honesty, Goo still didn't fully understand why he had accepted this job.

All he wanted more than anything was to see Charles Choi fall after so long, so it was rather hypocritical of him to agree to ally himself with him after all.

But...

150 million Yen was not a sum he could refuse so easily.

"Tsk."

Sighing, he kept a firm grip on the hilt of his sword, his gaze narrowing when he noticed movement in the distance.

"Looks like they've arrived."

Goo kept on the alert, after all, Yuji Shinakawa was not someone to be underestimated. Unlike Gun, he liked to study his future opponents or allies in depth, even if he seemed playful most of the time.

Yuji was someone with more influence than Charles Choi himself, but it was clear that he couldn't use it to the full because of his age. That was the main reason Charles believed he had a chance.

The boy wouldn't be an idiot to bring a war to a country like Korea, so it was an unrealistic idea to believe that he would bring his connections to help him.

Still, connections or not, Yuji Shinakawa alone was a power to be feared. Even now, Goo had no confidence in taking him on.

Of course, that would change if he could team up with Gun and James. With the two of them, he believed they might have a chance, but unfortunately, that wasn't a possible scenario at the moment.

If everything went as Charles planned, James would hold Yuji off long enough for Goo and Gun to catch up with them.

From then on, they would just have to do what they do best.

But it was clear that things wouldn't be so simple.

"A sword...?"

Opening his eyes wide when a voice came from behind him, Goo immediately drew his sword as he turned to see a figure emerging from the trees.

'I didn't even notice him approaching!' Feeling sweat collecting on his forehead, Goo gave a nervous little smile. 'Who's that face?'

"It's been a while since I've faced a swordsman."

With the figure standing in front of an alert Goo, the blond immediately noticed his dark eyes similar to Gun's.

"It'll be great practice."

Hollis smiled with his lips, which caused Goo to frown in annoyance.
