Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

Charles Choi had acted rashly, and he knew it. Yuji Shinakawa was powerful, and it wasn't just his strength, but also his connections.

He knew that by kidnapping the girl, he would put a target on her head and start a war against one of the most influential people in Japan.

But he wouldn't go through with it if he didn't think he could turn the whole situation around in his favor.

Charles was bold, not an idiot. He would never put all his years of work at risk so easily.

He still had a chance of convincing Yuji to serve him, and even if it didn't work, he could simply kill the girl and disappear off the map, going to a place where he would never be found.

It wasn't the best of options, but it was the only one in case everything went wrong in the end.

But he wouldn't think about it at the moment.

He knew that Yuji had discovered the girl's location some time ago, and had already made all the preparations for her arrival.

It was complicated, but Yuji also knew that there was something waiting for him.

But that wouldn't change his plans much. The boy might have powerful allies, but after all this time, it was only natural that Charles should too.

Ultimately, it would be a war of influence.

.

In the forest, a few meters from the abandoned factory where Gaeul was supposed to be, a group of people walked among the trees in silence.

Yuji led the way, accompanied by an impatient Raian and a calm, attentive Hollis.

Behind the three, the members of Allied were gathered, along with the main members of Big Deal, Hostel, and White Tigers.

After helping them in the war, and offering the location of Jinyoung Park to Tom Lee, it wasn't difficult to ask them for a favor during that war, after all, they all wanted an end to Charles Choi, who was the main cause of all their problems.

With the Workers out of the game, and Eugene's whereabouts unknown, they knew they owed Yuji a lot.

They trusted in the boy's strength, so they didn't hesitate to agree to help him in what would have been crazy for anyone else.

But at the end of the day, Charles Choi was still a real monster in the eyes of most of them, so it was normal that some were still wary of the whole situation.

And Yuji knew it well.

"It seems that some of them aren't so confident about it." And hearing Hollis suddenly say it, Yuji understood that he wasn't the only one to notice.

"I could tell." Yuji gave them a quick glance before turning back to the path. "But that's not something that worries me, after all, you two will serve exactly to improve the morale of the group."

"Uh? Don't expect me to give a speech to those idiots." Raian commented dismissively.

"No, I don't expect that... Wait, do you know what a speech is?"

"You're getting on my nerves." Raian growled, Yuji just shrugging off his reaction with a smile.

"No, I don't want you to talk to them or anything, a show of force will be more than enough."

Hollis nodded, clearly understanding the young fighter's implication.

"But tell me, Yuji. If what you say is true, what's your goal on the front line? I don't think we'll need any more support, so why don't you focus on saving the girl?" Hollis, having had this question in mind for some time, finally asked Yuji.

That seemed to catch even Raian's attention, who knew that from Yuji's words, he and Hollis would be more than enough to deal with any enemy that place could offer them.

"It's just a whim, after all, there is one person in question who will be there. As for the rescue, don't worry, I have a plan for that."

Hollis remained silent. He knew Yuji's cunning, and he knew the boy wouldn't act so calmly if he didn't have a plan.

At least he trusted him enough to follow him without asking too many questions.

!

As the group moved, Yuji suddenly signaled for them to stop when something caught his eye, his eyes narrowing as a strange sound was picked up by his hearing.

A metallic sound, which clearly shouldn't exist in that place.

A sound that made his eyes widen the instant he discovered its origin.

Tick!

Boom!

The sound of charging came, only for a gunshot to ring out throughout the forest, the animals going wild as the group immediately dispersed.

"Snipers! That's what that bastard looks like." Tom Lee gave a dismissive smile, his attention slowly turning to a Yuji standing in the trees, still in the same place, as if he hadn't moved to hide. "Hey, kid! Are you crazy?"

"That son of a bitch." Turning to Tom Lee, Yuji opened his hand to reveal a round of ammunition, his eyes narrowing as his attention turned to the top of a tree. "I wouldn't expect fair play from that guy."

Throwing the ammunition with a simple swing of his arm, a groan sounded from a tree, the body of a camouflaged man suddenly plummeting with a sniper rifle in hand.

"But I couldn't judge you too much, after all, I believe that what I'm doing can't really be considered fair play."

Turning around, Yuji looked into the forest with a confident gaze, his mouth widening into a smile that sent shivers down the spines of most of his allies.

"You know very well what to do! Knock down what you can of the pawns! If you can't take on anyone, retreat and group up! Today, Charles Choi's reign ends!"

Saying his last words to the group, Yuji moved on, disappearing into the forest, while Raian and Hollis followed him.

"That idiot! What if there are more snipers?!" Hobin muttered fearfully.

"Then we just need to dodge." Jake Kim said as he passed him, which immediately made Hobin's eyes widen in disbelief.

"Do you really believe what you're saying?"

Jake gave a small smile, his body moving forward through the trees as the rest of the Big Deal members followed him.

"These guys are crazy." Hobin snorted, and getting up, he moved to stand next to the Allied, the members of the White Tiger having already dispersed into the forest.

"It looks like it's going to be quite a fight." Daniel commented, which made them all nod in agreement.
