Chapter 105

For those who don't know how the ship looks like, here is the image:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Carnage, who is in the form of Impulse, watched the sleeping Kryptonians through the glass door of one of the prisons. The prison was 5 big empty rooms, big enough to hold more than 30 humans. All the walls were white, with the only way to see outside is the glass door. On the wall opposite the door, there are multiple buttons on the wall, which can bring out necessities like beds or chairs. Three rooms held 21 Kryptonians, while two help 22.
Multiple thoughts ran through Carnage's mind as he stared at them. He wants to evolve to the next stage, but if he does that, he may gain the weakness of the Kryptonians. Being weak to Kriptonaian and red suns isn't much better than being weak to fire. But if he works to remove their weakness, there was a high chance he will be wasting his time.
After thinking for a while, Carnage ran his hand through his silver hair, sighing. "Time is all I have. I should slow down once in a while. Send one Kryptonian to the laboratory."
Turning around, Carnage began to walk through the maze-like hallway, going to the lab. He had spent his time exploring the ship after coming out of the speed force, giving him great knowledge of the ship layout. The ship has five floors, the fifth floor only held the Navigation room. No one can enter the Navigation room without teleporting, and only the Owner, which is him, can enter the room. From the Navigation room, you can control anything on the ship.
The bridge is on the fourth floor. The Traveler can also be piloted from the bridge, but it is limited. First, you cant command the ship to enter hyperspeed, travel through time, control the particle shield or look through the security cameras. Captain's office is simply an office room, also on the fourth floor. Crew quarters are the biggest part of the fourth floor, holding 10 rooms, each varying in size.
The fabrication room is located on the third floor. You can create clothing from any era. The fabricator can create weapons and other items like ingested translators and a knight's gauntlet. The galley and dining room are located on the third floor. It is equipped with food and drinks for the crew. Additionally, the galley has a fridge containing beer that has survived for 300 years. The galley also has its own food fabricator capable of making food and drinks for the crew.
The medical bay, also on the third floor, is where one can go to receive medical treatments for injuries or illnesses. The med bay has a futuristic 3-D printer-like device that can construct new limbs. It is equipped with various sedatives and futuristic medicines that Xerah often administers to mend injuries. There are two black chairs at a 180-degree angle, electronic displays, and extremely advanced future medical technology. Xerah can monitors patient vital signs and can cauterize simple knife wounds, though this leaves a scar. Xerah can also assist with superficial alterations.
The bathroom, laundry room, laboratory, and gym, are all located on the second floor. The laboratory is equipped with futuristic equipment that would make all of Carnage's work easier than it ever was. While the last first floor held the cargo bay, prison, secret armory. Like its name, the secret armory is secret. The Cargo is big and held 15 landings craft. There were stairs and elevators, leading to every floor, except the fifth floor.
Carnage arrived in the laboratory, where the male Kryptonian was awakening. Appearing behind him, Carnage knocks him out before putting his body into a futuristic computerized tomography. He then walked to the computer, looking through all the data. To his surprise, the scanner gave him more information than he thought.
From what he sees, the Kryptonian cellular structure is much more dense, resilient, and biologically more effective than human tissue. They do not possess superhuman strength levels despite their enhanced cellular ability. But they were like batteries that can be charged with yellow solar energy. Kryptonians' bodies also store energy actively within their bio-cellular matrix as an energy pattern that is linked to their body's electromagnetic field. This energy powers most of their electromagnetic capabilities such as flight, heat vision, and other "sight"-based abilities while supplementing their physical abilities to superhuman levels.
"I could make my cells have similar functions, but I don't think it will be as perfect as them." Carnage mumbled, inspecting the result of the scan. "And it seems like the Kryptonians aren't weak to red stars. It just gives their cells a lesser charge than the yellow star. Now I wonder how strong Superman would be under a blue star." The thought of that made him shiver.
Although he learned a lot about the Kriponians, he didn't get the answer to his question. Where do their weakness towards kryptonite come from? But to fully test the effect kryptonite has on Kryptonians, he would need kryptonite. He already thought of this, so when he went out to grab the Kryptonians, he made sure to take some kryptonite with him. Kryptonite is poisonous to the Kryptonians, but they use it as a power source for some of their technology, like nuke, making them easier to find.
With a red flash, Carnage filled an experiment table with green Kryptonite. He then brought the Kryptonian male, placing him on a separate table. "Now what?" Carnage thought, looking down at the sleeping man. "It would be easy to make humans immune to toxic like dioxin, but how do I go about it with Kryptonians without damaging the part that gives them their special abilities?"
Carnage looked at the Kryptonian male and a thought came to mind."I could probably use my blood, seeing as it is immune to any, if not, all toxicity. All I have to do is inject them with my blood and see what happens."
Knowing what to do, carnage brought a Kryptonite next to the knocked-out Kryptonian. He used his x-ray vision to see the reaction of the kryptonite on the man. The man was shocked awake, screaming. The kryptonite radiation reacted to his cell, causing most of them to swell, leading to multiple blood clots around his body. His scream turns to a shriek as he rolled off the experiment table. Carnage casually placed the kryptonite next to the man before going to prepare. After some time of excruciating pain, blood started flowing out of his eyes and mouth. His muscular began to weaken to the point of collapse, and right as he was about to die, Carnage moved the kryptonite away from him, then injected his blood into the man.
He watched his cells invade the body, courting other of the Kryptonian cells. The new Kryptonian cells used the remaining kryptonite radiation for energy as they quickly spread. His body slowly healed, bringing him to his peak condition. The man rolled up in a futile position, shivering.
'He will die soon.' Carnage thought, watching as the man cells quickly get consumed by his. Due to the Kryptonian cells not being enhanced by solar radiation, they were weak to defend against his, causing them to be consumed. Similar to how they will consume those of humans. "If a yellow star was nearby, they will successfully merge, evolving him into something higher than a Kryptonian. I guess my bloodline is too overpowered for an unenhanced Kryptonian."
The Kryptonian slowly died a painless death, happy to be out of his misery. Carnage smiled, knowing his next evolution would be a grand one. But before that,
"I should visit Carnage 2.0. I wonder what he is doing right now. About to evolve or somewhere further. He did say he was going to kill Superman with his kryptonite." Carnage mumbled, stretching.
He looked at his appearance in a mirror, nodding at it. "Impulse form is pretty balanced. No blind spot, not too tall, and overall better. This should be my main form from now on." Carnage paused, staring at his new main appearance. "It seems like the name I told the president is true. I am faceless. A being without a true form... I guess I should change my name too? Carnage seems too old."
"I should probably upload all the information I stole from cyberpunk Batman into the Traveler before I meet 2.0. Xerah should be able to sort it out before I come back." Carnage said, bringing out the USB that's been in his pocket since his first mission. "Or I could use the Traveler as the host of a Mother Box. Either way, I need this information sorted out and a new mother box. Its knowledge will be a great addition to Xerah's and mine."
