Chapter 49: The battle for Divinity!

"Well finally meet, Sanemi Yukimura! I have been waiting for your arrival! " A voice came as a man formed in a beam of light.

The man had fair skin and a buff sturdy body structure. He looked old and had a few wrinkles on his face with a large white beard and white hair and seemed to be missing an eye.

"Are you Lord Odin? " Sanemi asked in a little awe of meeting one of the Gods he has read about. While yes he met R.O.B. before and was astonished to learn about existence he was a little more excited to meet one of the Gods he read so much more about.

"Ahh, I see you are quite eager to meet a known God like me. You have my blessing successor of R.O.B. but we have a job at hand. Today the opponent I have chosen for you will be a tier 4 Madara Uchiha (Juubidara)! " Odin responded in a loud tone.

"Madara with divinity? won't that be a little too difficult? " Sanemi asked as he knew the strength of Madara and was not going to underestimate Madara with divinity no matter the tier.

"It would be but life is all about risks is it not? also, a few things I need to explain to you in case R.O.B. missed them, First, only all the skills you have in common with the one you are fighting will gain divinity for the other skills you will either need to fight someone else with divinity or just gain it by completing some of the quests. Second, While you are allowed to use any skills you want be aware you will be fighting in a closed space with no objects in it. Third, in case you die or get injured, it won't matter since you will be brought here or just resurrected with no injuries but upon loss, you will face some repercussions. Fourth, the battle will begin the moment Madara appears " Odin stated in a little more serious tone.

"I see, well then I accept the fight against Madara Uchiha. " Sanemi stated after hearing Odin's explanation.

"Very well in that case I will now send you in the battleground! " Odin said and then shot a beam of light towards Sanemi and both of them disappeared.

Sanemi opened his eyes and found himself in an empty pure white room similar to where he and R.O.B. were just talking. Sanemi looked around and noticed that the corners of the room were highlighted with black markings.

Suddenly a bright white light flashed in front of him and a man appeared.

The man had white hair, pale skin, and was enveloped by a cloak of chakra that manifests into physical clothing: a full-bodied black garment with black pants, gloves, and boots, over which he had a flowing white robe with six black magatama markings across his chest and the familiar pattern of a black Rinnegan and nine black magatama markings in rows of three on his back.

A grey horn-like protrusions grew out of his left temple and overlapped his forehead akin to a protector with an upward curve on the right temple.

"So you are the one who I am supposed to fight? You don't look like much even though you have overflowing chakra a lot it seems contaminated " Madara said as he observed Sanemi.

'Contaminated? is that how non-Divine chakra looks like to him? The fight should have started since he is here ' Sanemi thought as he got into a stance.

"Oh? it seems like you know about me, or are just cautious but it doesn't matter! " Madara said and disappeared in a blitz of speed and appeared in front of Sanemi.

"Aaaakh!" Sanemi groaned in pain and spat out blood as he felt his ribs shattering just from Madara's punch.

'I couldn't even see- '

"AAAAH! " Sanemi again roared in pain as he was smashed in the ground by Madara.

"Fight back! " Madara yelled as he again rushed towards Sanemi.

"All Mighty Push! " Sanemi murmured as he produced a large gravitational push in Madara's direction.

"Humph! " Madara sneered as he simply canceled the push but his speed was slowed a little.

"Haaah! " Sanemi yelled as he got into his own six paths mode and opened his Saringan, Rinnegan, and Rinnesharingan.

"Ho? it seems that you are quite like me? I didn't know that there were other ways to get the six paths power. " Madara said as he observed the change in Sanemi's appearance.

'This is bad even with all the healing and defense my bloodline provides I couldn't even take his warning hits! I need to be the one who applies pressure or else I will lose for sure! ' Sanemi thought and pulled out Ace and Shodai Kitetsu and covered both of them in cursed energy and infused haki.

"Ho? a weapon fight? well then allow me as well " Madara said as he converted 4 of his truth-seeking balls into a staff and pointed it towards Sanemi.

Sanemi pointed the swords towards Madara and in a burst of speed performed a spin attach to slash him.

Madara smirked as he turned the staff into a shield-like object to repel Sanemi's attack.

"That was pathetic. " Madara said as he then knocked Sanemi back a good distance.

"Tch " Sanemi gritted his teeth as he realized how useless most of his techniques were against a divinity user.

Sanemi then dropped both of his blades and made a hand sign.

"Domain expansion: Shadow Chimera Park! " Sanemi said as darkness covered the whole room from top to bottom.

"This is..." Madara muttered as he observed around the room.

'None of my sensing abilities seems to be working here ' Madara thought as he jumped back just in time to avoid Orochi's bite.

'He created a realm of summoning? ' Madara questioned to himself as he tore a Nue with hands and the Nue turned into darkness as well.

"You have quite a craft ninjutsu here I must say, " Madara said as he dodged Sanemi's kick coming from his side.

"Tch! " sanemi gritted his teeth and twisted his leg and slammed Madara's face with his other leg with infused haki.

"Huh? " Madara muttered as he did not expect this and was knocked a little far away.

"You are the most complicated guy I have ever faced, " Madara said as he touched where he felt a tingling sensation.

"Know what screw it! " Sanemi said as the darkness retreated.

Sanemi gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
