Chapter 21: Shikigami hunt

"Pain, I have the two tails knocked out on me near the hidden cloud village, do we have a base near here?" Sanemi said while carrying an unconscious Yugito who was wrapped in multiple seals.

"No, yes we do I will give the directions follow them, Kakuzu made this base a while back that should suffice" Pain responded and then started to give instructions for the cave.

After following Pains direction for 10 minutes Sanemi finally reached a cave's opening and entered it.

"It will be the same as usual use your strongest sealing technique and remove the beast from the Jinchuriki," Pain said and then started to make some hand signs.

"Yes, we know," the rest of the figures said and performed hand signs to release their own techniques.

Blue dragons made from chakra came from the ghetto statue's mouth which then exploded on Yugito's body.

Yugito's body slowly started to float and chaotic red chakra came from all of her pores. The chakra slowly turned black and blue as a figure of a cat which was a size of a rhino came floating out.

The cat struggled and wailed as it tried to break free but nothing worked. Finally, the cat was absorbed in the Ghetto Statue as its mouth closed.

"Well done Sanemi, you have already caught two Jinchurikies, you are now free to do whatever you want, you will now only be called for special cases or sealing procedure," PAIN said, and then disappeared.

"Lucky to be you, here I am stuck is with this old, scorpion for a man who doesn't even know what a true art is," Deidara said with clear disappointment.

"Humph, as if a brat like you will know art's true meaning, true art is beauty that is preserved for eternity! " Sasori said with a raspy voice.

"A much as entertaining your debate is I have a snake to hunt, see ya all when you can finally catch a Biju," Sanemi said as he left the cave.

'Now I have to train the cursed energy as well, it will help me in future battles' Sanemi thought as remembered the weird energy he holds.

'Maybe I can mix this energy with chakra to make negative chakra similar to tailed bests' Sanemi thought as his palms glowed blue.

'But first, let's get some summonings now shall we?' Sanemi thought as he cracked his knuckles.

"Yuki stay out for these battles, I need to do these myself. " Sanemi said as he summoned the bird spirit Nue.

"Chiii!!" The Nue screeched as it flapped its wings and then looked towards Sanemi.

"Chiiiiii" The Nue screeched again and charged towards Sanemi.

Sanemi waited as the Nue's body glowed blue and static electricity generated around it. Nue rushed towards Sanemi who just clenched his fist.

Sanemi opened his eyes and punched the Nue right on its head.

The bird fell down with a crash as dust disappeared and Nue was revealed unconscious with some parts of its mask broken.

"One down," Sanemi said with a grin and summoned the rest of the shikigami except the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga.

Multiple different animals came from the darkness as they all poured out, rabbits, a giant snake, toads, and a massive elephant.

"Well then let's begin now shall we?" Sanemi said wielding the Cursed Broadsword and rushed towards the beast.

"Haaaaa" Sanemi yelled out a battle cry as he imbued cursed energy in his blade and chopped off 4 rabbits and the toad, the snake tried to grab him but Sanemi jumped to escape the bite.

A large stream of water came from the elephant's trunk as it headed for Sanemi, who in response just slashed the attack.

"Too weak!" Sanemi exclaimed as he slashed the rest of the Shikigami down.

'These Shikigami are too weak to be useful for a fight against Madara level powerhouses, and I don't have enough use energy to summon Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga' Sanemi thought with a little frown and then let out a sign.

'I need to be in some sort of situation desperate enough that I have no other option' Sanemi thought and finally let out another huff.

'But I also have this now, Star Platinum' Sanemi thought, and a blue-colored humanoid being come into his view.

'awesome' Sanemi thought with a small smile and called his stand back.

"Now then it is time to see how the leaf is going on, perhaps the shinobi exams are over," Sanemi thought as he turned into a Pheonix and flew into the sky.

"Yuki we might meet the three legendary sanin, I wonder if they will be as strong as they said" Sanemi talked to Yuki with their link.

"Perhaps they will allow me to reach the new limit for my cursed energy." Sanemi thought as he sped towards Konohagakure.
