Chapter 5

LOTUS POV

The time passed very fast and it's already Monday today and I am standing at the academy gate. I can't believe my dream to attend this college is coming true.

I started early in the morning from my town it is 4 hrs journey from my town to here my grandparents were very sad for me leaving my grandma hugged me and cried. it was very overwhelming. She packed so many hand made food items for me as if the college people will starve me here. Stacy brought her car to drop me to the airport grandpa also accompanied us till the airport.

As i checked in with my luggage the announcement of my name began at the airport as I got late due to heavy Rain.

I ran to the gate and boarded the plan. I with heavy breath said my apologies to all the passengers and crew members and sat on my seat. luckily I have prebooked a window seat for me. I hate sitting in the middle seat unless I am traveling with my grandparents . Therefore I always pre book my preferred seats. I am also scared of flights especially when there is turbulence. This is the first time I am travelling alone and was feeling very overwhelmed.

I started thinking about my entire life in my small town with my grandparents and how my life is going to change from now on. I am not expecting any drastic change. I prefer a simple and positive college life over anything happening and complicated.

The flight landed at the airport and I took my luggage and started from the airport to Walls academy via Cab/Taxi.

and now I am standing at the gate and my eyes started getting teary...

I went to the office to get more information on my hostel room and my schedule.

A kind looking lady helped me with everything I needed and now I am heading to my dorm room.

I looked into my schedule and I don't have any classes unti 2pm today so I pretty much had good time in my hands to get freshn up and have my lunch.

I entered my room and I saw a beautiful girl. I assume she is my room mate she is almost 2 to 3 inches taller than me with strong and sexy body with drak brown hair and brown eyes....

She welcomed me with a warm smile and hug and started calling me her roomie.

She introduced herself as Emily and is also in freshmen year with me. We have most of our classes together.

she told me that her home is near by just 30mins drive from here if we cross the Forest. But she is annoyed by her 4 siblings therefore she chose to stay in academy hostel.

Then she asked me about me and I told her my name is Lotus bloom and I am from a small town and grown up with my grandparents.

She is very surprised with my name which she feels very unique and beautiful. She also complimented me that I am as beautiful as lotus flower. My cheeks blushed red on the compliment...

After some more chit chat I decided to get freshn up and even my stomach was growling for food as I haven't had anything after yesterday night dinner.
