His body emitted a dangerous aura that might suffocate anyone who gets closed to him. He just sat there for a while, without moving even an inch. until the silence was broken by a mischievous voice,

"Older brother! Why is your face dark? did Lily pester you again? I heard she's sick last night!"

Caden wearing a white tuxedo suddenly asks, he smilingly walks toward Cai. Caden's face was gentle and his smile reaches his eyes, he was clearly in a good mood. He sat directly opposite him.

Heard his younger brother calling Lazuli "Lily" naturally, and remembered what she said to her nanny near the lake. Cai's face turned cold and his mood also turned sour.

That little girl is getting bold, she's not even satisfied with calling him a dog, she even wants him to scram. Cai's face went frighteningly dark, yet he still put on a very gentle smile.

She would run to his twin brother if she needs anything, and she would act cutely in front of his older brother as a little wife. while he on the other hand was her only punching bag, she would only call him if she was angry with something.

Joshua wanted to continue lashing at his twin brother, but he saw his older brother from the corners of his eyes and was looking at him with interest.

Joshua's word is stuck in his throat and almost choked himself to death. He coughs violently and spoke.

Cai didn't lift his head and continued twirling the glass in his hand.

When they reached home that very day, his big brother suddenly orders him to follow him to his room. Joshua didn't get suspicious and followed his order like an idiot.

After he entered his big brother's room and was about to ask if he needed something. his big brother suddenly closed the door with a bang and beat him without even giving him a chance to speak. Since then, he didn't even dare to trick Zuli especially if his older brother is around.

Looking at his meek twin brother at the corner, Caden felt like struggling even more. This idiot needs a good beating.

He already knew that his phone is vibrating relentlessly in his pocket, he was just afraid of answering it. What if the cat was accidentally out of the bag? he would die a horrible death.

Fishing his phone out, Caden wanted to throw this hot potato away. Seeing the hesitation in Caden's face, Cai narrowed his eyes and spoke icily.

"aren't you answering? Are you hiding something from me?"

He gulped visibly and respond meekly,

"I... I wouldn't dare."

Cai nodded his head indicating that he should answer the call to prove his innocence. Left with no choice. with trembling hands, Caden answered the phone. then they heard, on the other end, Zuli's half shouting and half angry voice.

"Caddy! Where are you? I thought my escort tonight is you?"

Caden almost burst into tears, this little ancestor never disappoints him even in this situation.

"Huh? When? When did I tell you that? I didn't even know about this arrangement!" Hearing this Zuli rolled her eyes

"You even bought me a very expensive bag just to get this role from my grandpa. are you messing with me? Hurry up and come here, the party is almost starting."

Caden was left speechless, he felt like coughing and had a mouth full of blood. Feeling the atmosphere around him turning cold he replied hastily.

"Ahh! what are you saying, Reese bought it, especially for you"

He didn't lie, he told his friend Reese to buy it from Milan just to bribe her. Before Zuli could even respond, Caden said apologetically.

"Father just called and said that I have to fetch them."

Turning his head lightly Caden saw Joshua's pleading eyes, He then hastily added.

"Joshua's coming with me so don't even bother asking about him"
