384 Chapter 384: Sneaking in

Elize stared at the four-storeyed building before her. She had once called it home. Now, without the pack, the structure was only a cold skeleton of those warm days. She took a deep breath as she stared at the huge wooden doors that were shut close. 

The air was thick with something dark, and she knew that it was due to the presence of the Demon Princess. Darkness always attracted its kind. And that was evident from the thick cloud of dark mass that hovered over the invisible barrier surrounding the Island. 

The wraiths hovering above the Island were increasing day by day, visible only when the heavy rain clouds shifted. She had first spotted them on the day of Evanora's mother's funeral. They seemed like they were waiting for a chance to get inside. But thankfully, the barrier was strong enough to withstand their random attacks.
