Elize laughed, shifting back quickly. The sun had already set, and light poured into the parking lot from every window of the pack house. There were not many people outside at the time. She quickly grabbed something from the basket of dresses kept at one corner of the place and slipped it over her head.
So many things had changed for her. She tried to keep herself busy with her work so that she didn't have much time to sulk by herself. She looked up at the clear night sky, which was dotted with a million stars. It felt like she had a fresh start that she was forced to take. But it was not that bad all in all. At least she had her friends, and everyone at the pack house was so good to her.
