In the celestial realm, every soul knew about the celestial Ming dynasty, but the talk wasn't about the emperor. It was the eldest prince, Yan Ming, a brutal warhead who subdued multiple universe and celestial beings. He was a cold being, distant to compassion. From birth, he was at the pinnacle of strength. A chaos-born easily comparable to a chaos-being. Being born as one of the strongest, he was connected closely to the will of realities and eliminated any abnormal creation of life whose soul was corrupted with a shard of 'Unknown'-a existence similar to the will of reality that has one goal, devour the seven realities and the ocean of soul shards in the middle of it. It was a constant cycle of slaughter for Yan Ming. however, something unexpected happened in his life and he fell for a woman with a pure kind heart, a soul unlike any he had seen. But unlike her, destiny wasn't as kind. His heart was torn into bloody shreds as he held her in his arms -lifeless, devoid of the smile he was used to. He made a vow to resurrect her, breaking every law of the realities, but destiny has her dirty play already prepared for him.

strange glimpse

After witnessing the horror of their partner being consumed, leaving nothing other than clothes and a small amount of grey ash. They went through vigorous torture too, knocking teeth out and getting their bones dislocated.

Though Jun was sure they had nothing worth knowing, whoever was behind this all had to be an organization; syndicate maybe.

They had no belongings on them. The only thing they had was a mobile with a single number saved, and it was a private number just to make it harder to track.

he looked at the men tied by him and their mouths stuffed with the leftover clothes of their diseased ally, their mouths foaming, eyes swollen and faces reddened after thorough torture.

Knowing they had no further use, jun dealt with them just like the first guy. One by one consuming their life force, drying them to dust.

As energy surged inside him, he felt a strange -overwhelming- feeling, which made him black out for a few seconds.

the man in a black robe adorned with a multitude of gems and ornament sat on a cliff, though the planet was decimated from his anger and grief and what was left was just ruins of it.

the grief and anger that had eaten the planet was shielding the woman in his arms.

he caressed her cheek, feeling the warmth completely gone made his heart sink even deeper.

fragments of her soul had already been dispersed before she came in his embrace, before the last fragment could have vanished too, he surrounded her with a shield of his chaos energy that saved the last fragment of her soul.

All hopes seemed to have gone when he heard a voice; a deep voice that had an aura of its own.

"It's not fully lost yet. The vessel still could be resurrected." the voice said.

As vigilant as the man was, he knew that no one can come close to the place they were at without alerting him, while he had enough mind fortitude that it was impossible to transmit voice in his head by force. Then where did the voice come from?

while he was questioning himself, a pitch-black energy left the body of the woman.

The fragment he managed to save turned out to be the curse that led to her death.

there was no record of Unknown throughout the existence of the flow of realties, but here in the form of a shard, it approached the man in black.

The man had a strong urge to destroy the pitch-black orb but knowing it still was the part of his beloved; he controlled that urge.

"I know it's completely normal to be wary of me, but think about what you can get hearing me," the orb said cunningly, trying to be friendly.

"What motive do you have helping me? You shouldn't have any need of her now that a new vessel might have already been born." the man lowered his gaze to watch the orb with hostility.

"My motives need not to be known. I am here just to give you a remedy. You should know that I am the head of the hive of minds scattered in the realities which makes me have knowledgeable than anyone born. a pool of wisdom that could drown anyone. it's still possible to bring the girl's life by gathering the shards that have dispersed,"

the man gave a thought staring at his beloved, "I am listening."

"life and time don't work with normal logic. If someone dies, they don't need to reincarnate in the same era or the coming. They could go back in time, too. Locating a correct timeline and place isn't the only problem. You will need the reincarnation to willingly give you the shard. Considering there were multiple shards, you will need to do it several times to put her soul together." He wasn't anywhere done talking, it was like a person that had seen another person after ages of being alone.

The man stopped him in mid to raise a question of his own, "And how will I locate the reincarnation? you don't expect me to wait there till the reincarnation appears, do you?"

"I was getting there. All the shards in the seven realities share the same place of origin. The shard you have will resonate with the other shard that has the memories of the girl. They can give you a relatively close estimate of the location. It does vary from the same city to the same universe, so just know that much. Oh, one more thing, if you want to ask something, then make a big enough mess to trigger a rift in the flow of realities." It started talking like he was on a timer, which was about to hit the end.

"What?" even the man had a hard time understanding the bit as it was said at an incredible speed.

"Never mind, you will know what to do when the time comes," after saying the last bit. The ord lost the darkness and glowed with a white light as if it was purified.

Jun saw a strange scene in that short time when his head blacked out. Maybe a dream? Memories from past life? A divine message? He wasn't clear at all.

all he could think now was to get out of the washroom before anyone else came.

shoving the clothes from the guys earlier into the flush tank and waking the confused Tara with some water.

before she could yell or ask any questions, jun pulled his mask, revealing his handsome face, "I will explain after we get out of here,"

he said that but after getting out of there she just saw him fiddle with a mobile phone, 'It's not even a touch screen, what the hell is he doing with it,' with him around, there were more questions than answers for her.

Jun tried every imaginable way to get something out of the mobile phone. It was custom so no company or serial number was on it and the number in it can't be seen either.

he had several thoughts of calling the number, then he thought it would just alert the main conspirators if they had some sort of code before talking over the phone.

Whatever he does will go against his odds. If he sits silent and the conspirators don't hear from the hired group, then it still will raise suspicions.

If he doesn't play his cards properly, then it will be check-mate soon
