Painful Addiction

Even though Chisom masquerades as the strongest person she knows with nothing being able to move her, deep down, her emotions are as fragile as an egg: easily shattered. The other woman
"Did she have no shame at all?" I wondered, as I glared at her from the crown of her head, down to the soles of her feet, and back up.
"Who the hell are you exactly? And why are you sitting in my space?" I asked rudely, crossing my arms under my breasts.
"Stop being so rude, Chisom," My dad cautioned as he climbed into the driver's seat.
"I'm not being rude, I am simply asking who she is, why she is sitting in my seat, and oh, lest I forget, why she accompanied you to pick me up from the airport. She is no friend of mine, so..."
I raised my eyebrows, expecting a good explanation for what my eyes were seeing.
"Well?" I questioned when nobody gave me a befitting response.
"She's my lady friend, Chisom. Now, stop making a mountain out of a molehill and get in the backseat. We're all going in the same direction," My dad instructed, a stern frown deeply etched on his face.
