Momonga walked calmly towards TouchMe and Ulbert. Since his emotions had been suppressed, he felt he would die of embarrassment if he ran to them like a lovesick maiden again.

As he came face to face with them, his skeletal face admired the insect and goat-like faces of his companions. This did not unsettle him; he was already familiar with those faces, and without hesitation, the three shared an embrace.

After confirming the identity of his friends, Momonga welcomed them with open arms. He would have loved to reminisce about their past adventures and share everything he had experienced during their absence, but there were still many things to address before that. Among them, Momonga wanted to discuss the issue of the NPCs and share his concerns, as he doubted the loyalty of all of them.

Even though the fact that TouchMe and Ulbert could defeat most of the NPCs (excluding Rubedo) eased his heart, Momonga thought it foolish to forget the issue just because he now had his powerful companions.

After finishing the embrace with his companions, the sound of a metal object hitting the ground caught Momonga's attention.

Turning around, he saw all the guardians surrounding Albedo, who was on the ground.

"What are you—?!" Before Momonga could finish his question, Shalltear kicked Albedo with all her might. When the guardian coordinator tried to get up to respond to the aggression, Cocytus and Demirgus subdued her again.

Momonga watched as all the guardians gave Albedo a look of hatred, making her appear like a helpless child harassed by her peers. The fact that the guardians treated the only NPC he trusted in such a way made Momonga feel a raging anger that had to be suppressed three times by his ability before it vanished.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! GET AWAY FROM ALBEDO NOW!" Momonga shouted, and immediately all the guardians stepped away from Albedo with expressions of confusion on their faces.

"But Momonga-sama, she… She dared to insult TouchMe-sama and Ulbert-sama!" Shalltear shouted in confusion, not understanding why her beloved Momonga was upset.

"Shalltear is right, Momonga-sama! Albedo ordered us to kill two supreme beings… she deserves to die," Cocytus expressed.

"Death would be merciful… she must suffer until her personality is deformed, and then use what remains of her for the benefit of Nazarick," added Demirgus, whose face was twisted with anger. Perhaps the involvement of Ulbert made him even more furious.

Even Sebas, usually calm, expressed his hatred towards Albedo's actions.

The atmosphere was so tense, and the situation so bad, that TouchMe and Ulbert became defensive again despite the fact that this was happening because they had been insulted.

After hearing those cruel words, a rage was born in Momonga's heart that could not be easily suppressed.

"STOP THIS NONSENSE!" Momonga's shout terrified the hearts of the guardians (and his friends). "KILL HER?! TORTURE HER?! WHAT RIGHT DO YOU HAVE TO DECIDE THE FATE OF THE DAUGHTER THAT TABULA ENTRUSTED TO ME?!!!"

Mare and Aura were trembling with fear. Cocytus, who was immune to the cold, felt his blood freeze. Shalltear shed several tears, and Sebas and Demirgus were trembling with fear.

Meanwhile, TouchMe and Ulbert felt a bit sad for Momonga and wondered how Tabula had said goodbye to him and why he referred to Albedo as the daughter of that alchemist.

Momonga put his hands on his head as if he wanted to tear out his nonexistent hair in anger and desperation. "ALL OF YOU ARE JUST…!!!"

Before he could finish his sentence, Momonga's anger dissipated, and he was left breathing heavily, thankful that he had not said anything to the guardians that he might later regret.

"Momonga-sama…" Albedo whispered softly, still on the ground. The succubus's tone was sweet, like a maiden who had been rescued.

Momonga felt pity for seeing her like that.

"Albedo, are you okay?"

Albedo came out of what seemed like a trance and quickly stood up, saying, "I'm fine, sorry for worrying you."

Momonga nodded, happy that she was not injured.

"Albedo… she was created to protect Nazarick, you should all know that. And all the members of Ainz Ooal Gown agreed when we placed her in charge of coordinating Nazarick. I have no doubt that her actions were intended to protect Nazarick."

"But… Ulbert-sama, she tried to kill you," Demirgus said to his creator.

Ulbert still felt uncomfortable with the fact that one of his creations had come to life and spoke on its own. But his demon mind was sharp enough to find an answer despite his bewilderment.

"Albedo," the guardian flinched, not expecting Ulbert to address her, "tell me, now that you know who I am, do you want to kill me?"

Albedo held her breath, gripped her axe tightly, and slowly responded, "I… no, I would never harm one of the supreme beings who created this paradise for us," she answered solemnly.

"There you have my answer, Demirgus."

Demirgus felt a pang in his heart.

"I don't quite understand what's going on," TouchMe said, "but from where I stand, Albedo only wanted to protect Momonga… and I fear this was our fault."

Upon hearing that TouchMe accepted responsibility for Albedo's crime, Sebas shouted, "His mercy is great; you are not at fault. This is a sin that only Albedo shares."

"Hmm," TouchMe chuckled lightly. "We attacked you, Sebas Tian. Why would we have done that if it were us?"

"Because I disrespected you!"

"I don't think you did. We attacked because we were surprised to see you out here, and Albedo acted based on facts. She saw two threats that harmed you and acted to defend what she considers the master of this place."

The reason Ulbert and TouchMe spoke in favor of Albedo was that they genuinely believed that the fault lay with them for attacking Sebas. Additionally, they felt pity for her after seeing the cruel way she had been treated for wanting to protect Momonga.

"Momonga is right," they thought. In this new world, the succubus's actions had been appropriate. And her cautious way of thinking could help face this new world. They should not kill her.

That thought prevented any of the three supreme beings from realizing the feelings that flooded Albedo's heart…
