Leaving the Tomb

After Anastasia's bat hatching Leon's Lightning Spirit Butterfly hatched. Loud thunderous sounds came out a it hatched out. They were from its wings flapping. The Butterfly appeared, it was still a blue now more cloudy and grey. It had its wings bordered with an emerald green.

As the egg broke of completely clouds came out from the butterfly's body and covered completely. It looked like a storm cloud with lighting coming out of it.

"It evolved into a Storm Spirit Butterfly." Leon nodded. He unsummoned and waited for Pace and Anastasia to finish. Leon had set up a sound proofing formation so they weren't awakened by the ruckus of that hatching.

Pace finally had Fiona's egg hatch. The golden cat had transformed into a Black cat. It was on fire as it hatched out the egg. The fire was a dark shape of Gold. It was a shadow flame.

Pace was ecstatic. He picked up Fiona and spined her around. Fiona was now a Shadow fire Cat of five voidstars.

"Leon we did it! Now we need to evolve it into a Shadow Fire Panther!" Pace said.

"Hold on for a second, You'll have to wait for a while, let's evolve the Purple Cloud Fish first."

Pace nodded. He started introducing the new Fiona to his other beast. "Look Edward this Fiona isn't she stronger now, She looks so frightening!" The winged wolf nodded.

Leon started drawing the formation for the Purple Cloud Fish. He used Royal ocean water that was kept in a bottle. After forming the egg around the fish Leon poured all the water and gave Pace a Blue cloud fruit to add to the egg Later.

Leon couldn't have had both eggs from at the same time or pace wouldn't be able to understand when to give the fruits as it would be hard to concentrate on two eggs.

Anastasia front need to do anything so she was fine.

Leon sat down in a corner with the Blood resources he could find in the cave. He then summoned the Blood Harpy egg. He gave it the Cloud Halo fruit that he had found in the cave earlier and taken.

The fruit was absorbed but the bloodline wasn't satisfied it wanted more Holy energy. Leon Just sat and started forming more runes for the Blood God's Art. He ate the Blood resources and formed them as fast as he could. The egg was growing more energiesed then ever.

Another week passed. Leon had formed a thousand runes which was the same pace as he had before. However these runes were much stronger and complicated.

Leon kept the egg away and got up.

The Midnight buttery's egg hatched. The Black egg broke and a beautiful butterfly of black and purple appeared. It had a pattern of swirls on its wings.

Anastasia finally got up and stretched. She let the Butterfly land on her head. It was around half a meter long. It sat on Anastasia's head and looked like a beautiful hair clip.

"Thanks Leon for helping me evolve my beast." Anastasia said. "I really couldn't have done it without you."

Leon nodded and waited for Pace.

The egg soon hatched. A Royal Cloud Fish came out, it was a five voidstar beast. It would have to evolve to a whale to become a six voidstar beast.

"Now let's work evolve the Dark Fire Fairy."

Leon went through the same process and formed the egg. Anastasia sat neat the egg.

Leon sat back down and summoned the Lightning Griffin. He used the rest of the Lightning resources to help him from the Lightning God's Armor runes. His affinity had increased with the Butterfly's evolution.

He sat down and formed thirty runes in the whole week it took for the Fairy to hatch. For the 9999 runes he needed to complete that art he was only at 32.

The Poisonous Fire Fairy hatched. It had a green flame on its wings now. Pace had cultivated and formed a rune for an art in the week.

"Let's go now that all the evolutions are complete. You should let the beasts get used to their new bodies so they can evolve again."

You needed to wait between evolutions. They normally couldn't happen consecutively. It would be a lot harder to evolve a beast in a few days after it hatched.

There was less then a week left till the month ended. So the three got on their beast and headed for the Flamesmith Clan to pick up Clyde and Dwight as they went back to the island.

The now five disguised what they did the past month. Pace and Anastasia talked about finding the Tomb but didn't say anything about the holographic man and Ifrit Beast.

The trip was entertaining and went by quick. They landed on the island two days before the month was over.

"We still have two days to cultivate! It feels like such less time! The Clan head did his best and was able to help us evolve our beast to five voidstars but I don't know if we'll be able to evolve all of them to six voidstar in another two months." Clyde said.

"That is true, evolving to six voidstar is much harder then evolving to five voidstars." Dwight joined Clyde in complaining on how hard the task was.

The five entered the caves and started cultivating. Leon went to the Blood cave and was forming runes after checking on the pheonix egg.

The two days went by and Eos returned as well.

They all caught up as they waited for the lady to appear.

The ally zapped in the sky standing on a winged snake.

"Five people didn't return in time for the meeting and have been disqualified from the competition." The Lady said seriously.

"You all, another month had passed by, two more to go. Leon Flamesmith and Abigail Sunset. You both achieved hundred points on the writings test and so here is your reward." The Lady threw two scrolls of paper.

One landed in Leon's hand another in a yellow haired girl's hand. The girl looked at Leon and Leon looked at her.

The girl he beautiful sun like hair. With then she had caring eyes of yellow and a charming smile. She greeted Leon and then left

"Some on from the Sunset family, looks like they finally had someone talented in cultivation born." The Sunset family was the owners of turn sunset auction. Compared to having a lot of money they weren't big on cultivation. Many of them were genius business men and women but barely anyone had the talent for cultivation.

They had eventually become notorious for marrying in talented Cultivators to birth talented children. But all the children were average talents. People called it a curse and rumors spread.

Leon kept the scroll away.

The Lady in the sky continued, "You all have two months left to reach the strength of a seven voidstar beast. Adieu."

Everyone really felt that lady should stop talking, She just made the situations worst.

Just as she left, someone shouted out, "But wasn't it only six voidstars earlier!"

The Lady was clam, "Oh, did I say six voidstars earlier? I meant to say to reach the strength of a seven voidstar beast at the same cultivation." She then disappeared with snake beast under her.

Everyone was furious, a few people punched rocks in anger others summoned their beasts and had them shoot of strong abilities at the island to get off some steam.

Leon hearing what the lady said cut off everyone other then Pace form the list of people he could take to the next level. Even Eos was cut as sky element beasts took too long to evolve. She would have barely made it with all beast at six voidstars now they had to be trained to the strength of seven voidstar- simply Impossible!

Clyde was going insane, "She expects us to reach the strength of seven voidstar beast! That is reaching the level of Beasts Summoing masters have. How are we a bunch of summoning teachers suppose to do that!"

Dwight had already given up.

Anastasia fell from the Cloud she was on back to the ground. The evolution of her beasts didn't feel like much as the goal she had to reach was impossible.

Pace kept things positive, "Guys I know things sound bad but we should still try out hardest!"

No one was really effected by his positively. Even the cheerful Eos had her mood ruined.

"I'm going back to master, I'll see what he can do about the competition. I'll also ask him for help." Eos then left.

"I think we'll just stay at the clan, six voidstar was already impossible." Dwight said.

"We'll drop you at the clan, but don't stop cultivating, who knows what might happened." Pace said.

The five then went to the Clan. The ride back was quite and awkward.

Anastasia flew next to Leon, "Do you think I could make it?"

"Maybe if we had another month and had the same luck in finding more Grandmaster tombs."

That was an obvious no.

"Don't get worked over It, just cultivate. Like pace said We could get really lucky. Eos is also asking high elder Harlan for help." Leon said.

Anastasia didn't feel that much better.

Leon took out the scroll he got and opened it. It was a map of the Fire Continent with crosses in places and labels on them.

"What is this a scavenger hunt?" Anastasia said as she saw the scroll.

Leon read the labels, "Undiscovered Fire ore vein, Coal Cinder fruit, egg of a Fury Blinking Mantis, pool of Fire Essence!" Each label he read with more surprise.

Anastasia also read them in shock.

Pace was flying with Dwight and Clyde, he turned to see what the commotion was about.

"Leon you opened the scroll! What is it?" Pace asked. Dwight and Clyde were curious as well.

Leon and Anastasia looked at each other. They wondered whether to answer in front of Dwight and Clyde. The two were not the type to keep a secret. They would then have to bring them to all the areas.

Leon didn't like Clyde because of how little he knew about him. His existence was mystery, he could be a spy form Pandora.

They both understood each other and decided to hide it.

"Its just a Beast evolving path for a Fire Snake, I was surprised how cool it was, right Anastasia?"

"Right! it is pretty cool, evolution path of a Fire Snake, it really evolves into crazy stuff." Anastasia said awkwardly as she glared at Leon.

With their eyes they had the conversation, "Where did all that acting talent you showed in the Clan go, huh?"

"How am I suppose to act interested in a Fire Snake evolution path?! Chose a better topic to improvise on. A fire snake's evolution path?! Why would they even give you that! You don't even have fire snake contract beast!" Anastasia complained.

"Don't even talk about evolution in from of me. It reminds me of that lady from the island and makes me want to punch something in the face." Dwight said.

"We're about to arrive to the Clan finally some peace!" Clyde said.

They arrived and left the two outside the town again.

The three then flew away.

"So what's the scroll about. You guys are such bad liars." Pace said with a smirk.

"It was Leon's fault for choosing such a bad topic! Fire Snake's evolution path! Why would anyone be surprised to read it out loud."

Pace nodded, that did tell him they were lying.

Leon clicked his tongue, "The information that fire snake's are the easiest beast to evolve into Wyvern's hasn't grenade public yet."

"It's a map that shows resources still not taken by the council of fire." Leon said as he threw it for Pace to catch it.

Pace opened the map and was shocked beyond belief. He carefully scrolled it up and gave it to Leon in his hand.

"With all those resources we could make a new clan. So What's the plan? We go alone or tell the Clan?"

"I say we tell the Clan about the Fire ore vein and get the other stuff by ourselves." Leon answered.

Anastasia agreed as well.

"That's fine." Pace said. He took out a communication talisman and spoke to the Clan head telling him about the location of the Fire Ore vein.

"Let's go for the Coal Cinder Fruit first." Leon said.

They flew to the forest and found the fruit. They had to fight a beast but it ended quickly as it was three vs one. Leon picked the fruit and asked, "Pace, Anastasia do you want the fruit?"

"No Leon you should keep it. It was your award."

Anastasia didn't say anything.

They then wen to the next thing on the list, the Fury blinking mantis, it was A six voidstar beast. It was a Fire and plant element best.

"I don't think any one of us wants a new beast with almost no time to raise it. We'll give it to the Clan."

Pace and Anastasia nodded. Pace still had an egg beast to raise while Anastasia didn't like to contract fire beast.

The other two agreed. The three then went to the Pool of fire essence. It was the most valuable thing on the list.

The three found the pool and couldn't help but be amazed by the Fire energy.

"This is perfect for evolving Beasts!" Pace shouted.

"We could use it for years and still wouldn't run out! I can see why Summoing Masters like to have these for cultivation." Anastasia said.

Leon laughed at what they were saying, "You guys don't understand its true value, this fire essence so. It contains the comprehension's of fire! It can speed up the learning of arts as well."

"No way that's amazing. So I won't be polite then!" Pace said and summoned his three fire beasts.

Anastasia summoned the Poison fire fairy. Leon didn't summon a beast. He went up and collected as much of that fire essence he could for later. He was able to get eight bottles worth and then ran out of bottles.

"Why are you guys sitting on the edge? Jump in!" Leon said as he cannon balled in.

Pace jumped in as well. Anastasia had her Dark fairy go but she sat at the edge, but now closer.

"Anastasia you aren't a Fire cultivator but you are practicing a Fire and poison art so you should come in as well." Pace said.

"No it's fine, I'll just let my beast cultivate in the pool." Anastasia said. Pace didn't push and started to cultivate.

Leon sat down and started to cultivate as well. He cultivated the Vermilion Burning Art for a few hours and reached its peak. Leon then left the pool.

Leon didn't bother summoning the Ifrit Beast as it would just take in all that fire essence liquid at once. The stronger a beast was the more resources it could devour.

Leon got out and changed into dry clothing he then said, "Anastasia earlier I gave you two options to evolve the Poison Fire Fairy, Corrupted Fire Fairy and Venomous Fallen Fairy. With this much fire essence I can evolve it into a Fallen Flame Fairy, so do you want to evolve it?"

"Fallen Flame Fairy? I've never heard if it. Tell me about it. Also tell me about the other Fairies you said as well, I don't know about them as well." Anastasia said.

"Sure." Leon answered.
