Chapter 1Chapter 0 - Dying thoughts

"Ah..."

I could feel the intestines ripping in my stomach.

The first thing that came into my mind was the growing concern about the unimaginable amount of pain that'd come afterwards. However, to my surprise it wasn't anything like that.

When the dagger tore through my flesh, I didn't feel any pain. On the contrary, it was rather painless; a cold sensation. Perhaps it was because he stabbed me in the 'point', which is probably why didn't feel anything. I could only feel the alien object penetrating through my belly and go out. Everything happened in less than a second.

A warm sensation quickly filled my lower body afterwards.

"Augh!"

With the fleeting strength left in my arm, I tried pressing on whatever remained of my belly. My thighs were trembling violently, as if warning me about my inevitable collapse. I couldn't do anything to stop it. There was nothing I could do other than to accept it openly.

That's how things were decided to be...

My hands were already out of commission. My legs were yelling at me to give up. The body that I once called mine wouldn't listen to me no more.

I slowly crouched...

I knelt down...

I curled like a ball...

And then finally, I collapsed...

My cheek gently touched the snow on the ground. A sense of piercing coldness invaded my body. Fresh blood poured on the snow, adding a vermilion touch on the white canvas. On that fateful evening, a beautiful screen of whiteness and red filled my vision.

"It is unfortunate." a voice rang out. "I really wish we had met under better circumstances."

My eyes belatedly wandered toward the man's direction. A hooded figure was standing in front of me. The bandages hanging around at his neck gave him an unnatural look. His slender figure and pale skin would make anyone think that he's a patient suffering from anemia. Like a vampire ready to prey on its victim, he opened his mouth...

"May the fate be with you, [GRAY]"

The man walked away. Like a passerby ignoring the beggar asking for food, he refused to even look back. I could only look at his fleeting broad back.

"Huagh!..Augh!!!" I vomited. The mixture of waste and blood soiled my clothes. Perhaps the adrenaline wore off? I felt sharp pain resonating all over the wounds.

"Hah... Hah..."

A sharp pain struck me every time I tried to breathe. Perhaps the adrenaline wore off? Pain began to flood every corner of my body. My eyes were burning. My ears were ringing. My own body felt alien to me. I could feel my soul slowly being dragged out of my body.

This is what happens when the concept of incarnation is killed.

[L-Lindern.]

It was an intermediate mind enhancement spell. Unlike 'Thought Enhancement', it was a spell that temporarily blocked all the pain receptors from sending signals to my brain. It was getting unbearable for me, so I poured all my remaining mana on this. However, before it was activated, I felt agony beyond words. It felt as though someone had forcefully ripped all of my spines and replaced it with broken glass. My magic circuits were blazing from the excessive use of mana. Just when I thought I would go insane from the pain, a bright light emerged from my arm.

"Huf..." finally, it stopped.

The piercing sensation was replaced with something else. If there was a feeling called 'nothing', I was probably feeling it at that time. It was a rather cold and lonely feeling.

I rolled around and looked at the sky above.

It was a cruel winter midnight. At some point the snow stopped falling and clear sky emerged. The crystal blue moon became visible. A full moon looked down on me.

----So bright that it's annoying!

My eyes grew heavy. My consciousness barely latched onto me. Something tells me if I lose control, it'll be it. The story of Levent would finally reach its brief - -

Orphan at eleven, mage at twelve, murderer at thirteen... Dead at twenty two. Rather than tragedy, I think it was a comedy. A weird one at that...

Who will remember me? What did I accomplish in this life?

"..."

I closed my eyes.

-----White

The color white summons a distant memory.

Something far in the back of my brain. Something I thought was nothing but trivial. Something that was supposed to be trivial.

My entire life was being displayed in front of me.

All my memories flowed in front of me like a movie. All the events passed in front of me like a time lapse. It was definite end of my existence as Aozaki Levent.

"!!!"

.....

"-nt!"

Suddenly, from a distance...

"-vent!"

I heard a voice calling my name...

"Levent!"

It was a familiar voice. The one I thought I'd never hear again.

"LEVENT!"

There was a crashing noise right beside me. Someone tightly grabbed me by the shoulder and began shaking me. I was getting annoyed.

What is this idiot doing? Who would go near a stabbed victim and shake them violently?

*Plop!

Huh? What's this?

"Fight it! Don't give up! Fight!" again..

Something warm fell on my cheeks. I opened my eyes. With weak eyes, I looked at the person, and my eyes widened. A familiar and unexpected face filled my vision.

[Miyamura...San?] I stuttered.

"L..Levent!" she gave a pained and tearful gaze.

Miyamura was crying.

I couldn't understand why she was crying. There was nothing to cry. Rather, I was puzzled by her reaction itself.

[Why?] almost like a whisper, I asked in a weak voice.

I revealed everything during the revelation game. I killed her father. I killed her friend. I thought she hated me. I thought she said she'd do everything to kill me.

"...."

Then, why is she crying for my sake?

*slap

I think she slapped me. It was light slap with little force. But I felt the heaviness of the emotions behind that slap.

"You bastard! Why? Why didn't you tell me?"

"....."

"After all we did! After all we've been through! Why didn't you tell me everything?"

[Tell you what?]

"You know what I'm talking about!" she glared at me with wet eyes.

.....

[Did she tell you everything?]

"It doesn't matter, you sick psychopath!"

'She' did, huh?

I didn't know 'that woman' was capable of running her mouth too... What a troublesome woman, even till the bitter end.

"Just hold on! Don't you dare fall asleep! Help is already on the way!" Miyamura declared.

Help, huh?

On one hand I was happy that she finally understood the intention behind my actions. It pained me to imagine Miyamura hating me. I really was happy...

"...."

But on the other hand, I was aware of the futility of her efforts. There was not enough time. I slowly raised my arms and touched her hands. Then I looked deep inside her violet eyes. She sensed that something was wrong and her eyes widened.

[It's impossible.] I began.

My concept of existence was [KILLED]. There was no way for them to save me anymore. Not even that woman can capture me. In short, it was time for me to write my epilogue.

With all the strengths left in my body, I let out my final thoughts.

[This is goodbye, Miyamura-san.]

"You shut up! I didn't forgive you for killing them yet, so you better live!" she yelled.

[It is difficult.]

"I don't care!"

[Listen to me.]

"No! I don't want to listen! Shut up!"

[This may be the last time we get to talk. Please listen... Agh!] I coughed out some blood.

"No! Stop talking! You're only making it worse."

[This is the worst it can get. There's no time. Listen...]

"No!" she frantically shook her head.

[It was a short time we knew each other but, it was fun.]

"I hate you!"

[I really enjoyed being with you.]

"Shut up!" she covered her ears in attempt to not listen to my words. Her torrent of tears refusing to stop. "I don't want this! I don't want it to end like this! Not after I learned the truth!"

[You were not at fault. It was for the best.]

After listening to my words, she gave me a pained expression. After grabbing me by the collar she began complaining...

"Then why? You could've at least told me about it! Do you really enjoy playing with my heart that much!?"

[I never thought of playing with your heart.]

"Then why?"

[Believe me. It was for the best.]

She went silent. She knew me better than anyone. She understood that whenever I replied like this, I wouldn't budge no matter what. That's why she could only bite her lips and hope for the best.

'Hng!'

But then, out of the blue...

[Umgh...]

A warm sensation gently took over lips.

'Umh!' It was Miyamura who forcefully pressed her lips on me. Her tear filled cheeks touched me. The saltiness of our tears and blood made the kiss. Our first kiss was salty, but that didn't bother us.

Ten seconds... Twenty seconds... Thirty seconds...

We had been like that for more almost a minute before we broke off. From an outside's perspective, it seemed like a kiss. But on top of that she was actually trying to physically send energy to my body. She was hoping for me to recover somehow.

"H-huh?"

However, there was no hope to begin with. At some point, I lost all feelings from my body. I couldn't move my hands anymore. My eyes slowly began closing. My consciousness were fading rapidly. I knew what it meant. That's why I was the one who decided to break the kiss.

[Thank you for everything, Miyamura-san.]

I thought I could die without regrets, but after seeing her...

I guess I had this one regret left in my soul.

[If there is a next life for us... then I hope to be reborn as someone normal.]

So we can have our own happy ending.

[Bye Bye]

"Huh? Wait, Levent.. Are you there? Levent? Levent!"

That is all...

...

Until...

***A/N: Hello! It seems you've come across this small project of mine. As you've read in the description, this is an OC fic. The main character Levent gets stabbed by an unmentioned enemy in this chapter and gets sent into an alternate dimension, which is as you can guess, 'Classroom of the Elite'.

Now, what should you expect from this?

Let me mention that this is the very first time I'm writing a story. I'm sure it's not as great as the others. The first ten chapters are... basically a cringefest. And from time to time, I basically replaced Ayanokouji with Levent.

I know it's pathetic, I learned it the hard way after receiving a few 'harsh' words. *Vietnam flashbacks.

But if you end up enjoying this, then I will have reached my goal and this fic will be a success. When you're done reading all the chapters (or when you've have enough with this fic) please come back here and let me know your thoughts.

With that, I hope you have a great time with this fic. Ciao 🤞;]

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
