Jude and Dinner

As we sat at the table, Mister H looked at me occasionally while I pretended not to notice. Even Jude is looking at me, though much more subtly than his father. 

He is also casting occasional glances at his father who paid him no mind. 

Aurora rushed off to the kitchen to oversee some things while Adan went with her, so there are only me, Caris, Leo and the Hampton family. 

"How has everything been, dear?" Mrs Hampton asked, filling the silence. 

"It has been alright," I said, smiling sweetly at her. "I am just getting used to living here. It was such a wonder for me when I found out that I was a part of the Sagepice family. Oh, I should introduce you to my cousin, Leo and this is, Caris ... my brother." 

"Brother?" She gasped looking at her husband and son who seemed surprised but quickly hid it.

"May I know how you know that he is your brother?" Mister Hampton asked, leaning forward to look me intently in the eyes.
