It's a neighbourhood.
"Are you fucking serious?" I am pissed off.
"This is the only place no one would ever think he would be."
"Because families live here. Kids are even running up and down the street, Jesus," I shake my head. This is unbelievable.
I unbuckle the seatbelt, getting ready to walk out. He holds my arm to stop me. I look at his hand and he removes it.
"are you sure you want to do this?' he ask me and I give him a blank stare.
"Don't I look ready?"
"It's hard to know, you haven't been showing anything since …" he doesn't finish his sentence.
I give him a minute but then climbs out of the van. The neighbourhood is not one of the best there is. You can see clearly that the people who live here are not that well off, from the chipped paint wall, to the crooked gates. Some houses still hold a picture of what it once looked before its current state.
