Why can't you see it?

I first saw it when I was walking home from school to see a black gap in the sky, I ignored it thinking that I was a plane or some other flying object moving slowly through the sky. I woke up and saw that the gap grew it's deep darkness more visible and I knew that it was something unnatural. I asked my friends and they claim to see nothing, I ask the internet, I ask everyone I could and they saw a sky, while I saw the great, black maw of nothing. It kept growing then the void birthed things creatures that rained down almost endlessly writhing masses of flesh and limbs and appendages they writhed on the ground still, you couldn't see them could you? They started to learned as the Dark grew and blocked out or consumed the light of the sun and the shine of the stars. They're writhing masses gained order and became more human. They started walking among us and now you could see them, touch them and befriend them, you let the spawns of the Maw into the your home and the darkness kept growing, you could see them but you still weren't able to see it. You can't see them, but I could I noticed some people staring at me, as the darkness grows it becomes harder to tell them apart from us. I see people starting to stare at me, I stopped seeing them, well, I stopped being able to notice them. I fear that they now can see me.
