Currently, Riynsu was sitting down against a bookshelf trying to catch his breath, he had sat here for about 3 minutes.
Riynsu looked at the system screen that had just appeared in front of him. It notified him that he had just levelled up and that his stats had increased.
"I see, so levelling up increases all my stat points by one. It seems like levelling up and killing monsters is more efficient than just clearing the daily quest. Since it gives three while levelling up gives me in total five points."
"I wonder how much stronger I become per stat point?"
"I mean, even my intelligence and senses can be shown as stat numbers. Would that heightened as well?"
"Well, the easiest ones to understand is strength and vitality. I mean, after increasing them, I can definitely feel the improvements."
"I'm much stronger and less tired." He stated, tensing his fist.
Standing up, Riynsu spoke his thoughts with a smile. "With this, I can get stronger."
Riynsu looked down at the corpses of the ailuran, inspecting them. He couldn't find the magical cores normal monsters drop.
He knew that these weren't normal monsters and assumed that the entire dungeon was made by the system.
"Well, I guess they drop these instead then," Riynsu said, taking out a long nail made of iron.

Looking at the last part, Riynsu was surprised.

"There's a store?!"
"This really is like a game."
"Hmm.... Store." He said, attempting to open the store.
A screen popped up that was titled store. Two boxes said 'Buy' and 'Sell'.
"Buy."
A notification then popped up in front of him.

"What? I got to level up higher to buy things?" He moaned.
"Let's try selling," Riynsu said, trying to get his mind off it. "Sell."
His inventory then opened up. Asking what he would like to sell.
"Ailuran's nail." He told the screen.
[-Would you like to sell 'Item: Ailuran's Nail'?]
"Yes."
A cash register noise could be heard and his inventory showed that he had 45 gold.
"45 gold? How much would that even be? Can I even extract it or, can I only use this in the store?" Riynsu pondered. "But I guess I might be able to earn some more from the loot of this dungeon. It should be about a C-Rank right?"
As he said this, the corpse of the ailuran started to fade. His eyes were drawn to the sight as he watched the remains disappear before his eyes.
"What the hell? Where did it go? Wait a minute, did it just despawn?" He asked himself.
Riynsu used his knowledge of video games to get to this solution. He remembered mobs would despawn in video games about up to five minutes after they were killed, depending on what game.
Deciding to look around for a bit, Riynsu left the isle. He was panting a little, and a drop of sweat went down his face. Despite having increased his vitality, he could still feel the fatigue. Luckily, he could still fight without getting super exhausted.
Red eyes could be seen in the darkness. Riynsu glared back at them. Then more eyes could be seen as a few of the owners came out of the shadows. The several eyes were all owned by Ailuran.
A pack of ailuran came out, all growling at him. Riynsu looked at them, axe in hand and readied himself.
"There's nothing to be afraid of."
"I already took down 4 of them. And with me just levelling up, I could take down a couple more."
A smile crept upon his face. He looked at the ailuran with a bit of greed in his eyes.
If the ailuran dropped their nails, which were 45 coins each, he'd be able to get a couple of hundred coins. There's about 20 of them!
"You guys will be my source of coins." He said, pointing his axe. "So keep your nails nice and shiny for me."
He lunged towards the cat-like creatures, slashing and chopping their bodies, punching and kicking when he wasn't fast enough with his axe.

He received a few bruises from the monsters, but still powered on and cut them up.

He staggered a bit, gritted his teeth, yet still went on fighting.
I won't win if I don't fight. Fight! Fight!

As expected, Riynsu had levelled up pretty quickly. His level had shot up straight to level seven.
Also, he had received the title 'Tiger slayer'.

Riynsu opened up his inventory.
"twenty-three nails, a dagger, a damaged lance, worn traveller's trousers, hearthstone."
Those were the items Riynsu got from killing the Ailuran. He figured out that he could get items if he searched their bellies. Surprisingly he found a lance in one of them.
Besides the weapons and the hearthstone, he hawked all the items he received to the store.
He received just under 1500 coins.

He finally had received the hearthstone. He could get out. In the corner of his eye, Riynsu saw the stairs for the second floor. He was contemplating whether to continue upstairs or return. Gripping the hearthstone in his hand, he thought.
"I won't return. I won't waste this second chance I got. I will become strong!"
He put away the hearthstone and walked up the steps.
