Darren opened his eyes confused as he he realized he was in a somewhat familiar room. He sat up on his elbows as he looked around glancing at a poster on the wall realizing that he was in his old apartment.

He hadn't lived here in almost 4 years. Since he started making money on his sponsorship he didn't have a need to live in this tiny apartment that amounted to his closet in his penthouse. He rubbed his eyes confused on what was going on he remember stepping out onto the street and hearing the car honk its horn, then everything went blank. the last thing that he felt was the sharp pain in his side, nothing else seemed to make sense to him.

Shit, Darren thought, i died

It was the only thing that made any sense at the moment. what he could understand was why he was somewhere that looked like his old apartment. He got dressed quickly and looked around, wondering if he why the afterlife looked so boring. he looked in the mirror feeling his face. He was startled, it was a odd feeling to see his face back to looking like it was when he was 20. his piercing blue eyes, his nose that hadn't been broken and set incorrectly. his thin lips and unkempt hair where about the only things that looked the same.

Something started buzzing by the side of his bed as Darren walked over and saw his old phone going off.

Why is my phone here, Darren thought

"Hello," he said answering it

"Hello, what is this you some old guy not answering the phone right anymore," as he heard a familiar voice from the phone.

"Chad, i just saw you last night, what do you need i thought i was clear on everything," Darren said shocked

There was a stunned silence on the other end of the phone as Chad spoke again," Dude are you high or something, i just got back into town. i wanted to let you know that my pod got delivered so I'm going to be getting on as soon as Generations is open."

Darren realized that this wasn't what he thought. It was like something out of a book he wasn't dead he had travel back in time to when Generations had just been released. this was his chance, he would be able to stop everything from going wrong. Stop his guild from forcing him out, stop all the things that had gone wrong with his friends. he could change it all.

Darren looked back at the phone replying," if yours just got delivered then mine should be here soon, ill make sure that I'm online tonight when it goes up."

Darren felt anxious he didn't know what had happened but he know what he was going to do. He could make out a plan and stick to it and dominate Generations. immediately he sat down and started writing up a game plan for it. last time he was throw into Starter Village 159 for the tutorial and Chad also landed there but there was a chance that wasn't going to happen again. he had to be careful all of the villages were different. minor changes where made from the layout of the stores and quest givers, to the major changes, none of the field bosses were the same.

He walked into the kitchen and looked around trying to think of what he was going to do. he dug around in the cabinets and starting writing down everything that he could remember of the beginning portion of the game. anything that would be able to help and soon the door bell rang and he knew that it was time to get into the game.

He answered the door tipped the delivery man and walked into his room with a large box containing his headset. he ripped open the box and looked at the time. there was about a hour left in before the game opened and that was what he needed. He tore into the headset and plugged it into the wall looking at it briefly. it was exactly what he remembered. it looked like a motorcycle helmet that someone had grafted a computer to.this was what was going to make his life over.

Time to get to it, Darren thought as he put the headset over his head and heard the power up noises that he had gotten so used to.
