When Jules Evergreen lands in trouble at the North Pole and gets shipped off to Snow Hope Island for ninety days, he never expects to take up the cause of the forgotten toys waiting for new homes. Chapter 19

Felix pulled out of the kiss and stepped back, his face beat red.

“What is it? Is something wrong?” Jules felt a pang in his chest. Had he overstepped somehow?

Felix shook his head. “No. I…I was just wondering if you wanted to come to my house tonight.”

“For dinner? Of course.” Why would that make him blush? They’d been eating together every night for days.

“Um, I was thinking of more than dinner. Like a…sleepover?” The blush spread down his neck as he looked directly into Jules’s eyes.

Jules swallowed hard and rose from the desk. “I would love that.” His voice sounded husky. Rough. “But I can’t leave Belle alone all night.”

Felix shook his head. “I didn’t mean that. You should bring her to my house.”

Felix smiled and rested his head against Jules’s chest, and Jules wrapped his arms around him.
