Join the Enemy (Part 1)

It had been a while since Daigo had tried to mess with Hiro. He'd always pick on him, but he was shut down by Hiro after he messed with Akito, another cadet. Daigo was muscular and had a tough build, not forgetting his bully demeanor. He'd get off of other others who were weaker than him, physically. But Hiro wasn't going to let him do whatever he wanted, so he taught him a lesson in front of the other cadets. That made him be looked down on by the other cadets.

Daigo stood in the showers, cleansing himself after a tough training session. He was part of the Shooter class of War-Knights, which still required tough physical training. The showers were empty, as most of the other cadets had already left the showers and Daigo liked showering alone.

"Damn, these training sessions are getting harder and harder by the minute. I know I'm tough, but they want me to show my worth! I mean, after the Tokyo bombings, it would make sense…"

Daigo said to himself. 

"I haven't seen that jackass Hiro lately. I barely see him in the barracks, and he doesn't go to the same training sessions as me. Good. He thinks he can show off in front of the others and act tougher than me… I'm going to make sure to learn the ropes of this War-Knight crap and beat his ass!"

Daigo told himself as he contemplated his hatred for Hiro.

As he finished his shower, he went to go fetch his towel when he suddenly saw something peculiar on the floor. He noticed droplets of blood on the floor. Daigo wrapped his body with his towel and proceeded to investigate the blood closer.

"Maybe someone accidentally cut themselves and started bleeding without noticing?"

Daigo had no idea why, but he felt like tracking the long path of blood droplets on the floor. He knew he shouldn't care and move along, but it wasn't normal to see something like that in the showers, or anywhere. 

As he followed the path, he could see the blood taking a straight path outside the male's showers. This meant that whoever was bleeding, had already left. As Daigo followed the blood, he was faced with the door to the male's showers. He decided not to put clothes on and kept following the path. As he opened the door, he could see the droplets lead to… the female's showers…

Daigo gulped as he thought to himself what to do. He knew he couldn't go inside, but his curiosity was killing him. 

"Why would a male cadet enter the female's showers… maybe… he's a pervert who tried peeping. Or maybe a girl led him inside? No girls should be showering right now since it's late…"

Daigo tried looking for a reason to enter the female showers, as he wanted to uncover where the blood droplets were coming from. And why they had entered the female showers. But still, it was risky to enter it as he was a male. He didn't want to tell any of the employees or officers, either, since it would make a big fuss and he'd be involved. So his only choice was to… enter.

As he slowly opened the female's showers, he looked behind him to make sure no one saw him. Inside, he could see steam coming from the showers, meaning that someone was inside. Daigo started feeling nervous, as he knew he'd be done if he was caught. But he felt like it was right to find out why the blood was inside the female showers and why someone was showering late.

As he entered the showers, nervous, the door behind him had shut, making a moderately loud sound. Daigo had a piercing feeling in his heart, as the door closed behind him loudly. As he got back to his senses, a female voice resonated throughout the female's showers. It was a voice he'd heard before. Daigo was scared, as he thought he was caught and was going to be labeled a predator for the rest of his life.

"Daigo. I have been waiting for you. Sorry for making you come over here."

The voice inside the showers had called his name. Daigo couldn't believe a girl was inside the showers, saying she was waiting for him. Though it was giving him déjà vu of some of his… fantasies… he knew that his reason for being there was the blood droplets. 

"I… uh…"

Daigo couldn't let out a word. His shock made him unable to speak.

The girl suddenly showed herself to Daigo, entering the entrance of the female's showers. Her hair was brown, with golden blonde tips. She was covering herself with her towel, just like Daigo was.

Daigo was thunderstruck by her sudden appearance. It was like one of his fantasies, which a girl called for him in the shower rooms. As she revealed herself, Daigo recoiled back to the female's shower's entrance door.

"Wait wait! I'm not ready for this yet!"

As Daigo got his excitement ahead of himself, he looked closer at the girl.

"W-wait… is that… you are… Kaide… right?"

The girl appeared to giggle as she saw Daigo in his bewildered state, who had just noticed who she was.

"Yes that me. I hope it's not a problem seeing me like this… all defenseless and all…"

Kaide said.

"No no… what do you want?!"

Daigo responded.

Kaide started walking closer to him. She retrieved a pen from her person and showed it to Daigo.

"The "blood" was fake… it was just ink. I used it to lure you here…"

Kaide said as she grinned.

"So was this a prank or…"

Daigo said.

Kaide got closer and closer to Daigo. He was stuck in a corner, without knowing her intentions. She then got in front of him and put her arm on his shoulder. She proceeded to get her face close to his ear. Daigo was completely frozen by the sudden invasion of privacy, which he didn't seem to hate. A few words came from her mouth.

"Be a good boy and help me with a little something, will you?"
